I love to read, go to concerts, work fan conventions, and travel. I have met so many great people the past few years and I look forward to meeting so many more.
I have a slight book addiction, I have several on my kindle and in paperback. I am open to reading any genre but my most favorite reads are dark erotic, MC, Mobsters, BDSM and Bad boy Rockers. Who am I kidding, anything with bad boys pulls me in, the badder the better. Reading takes me away from everyday things and puts me in another world. I love books that get my heart racing, shock me and tug at my heartstrings.
I’m a nanny to two beautiful children ages 1 and 3 and a half during the day and spend my nights either with Gunner at the dog park with the other dog moms or reading a good book.
A few of my favorite authors are SE Hall, Anne Conley, Shantel Tessier, Lexi Blake and Lauren Blakely.
My name is Heidi and I hail from the great city of Las Vegas. I am a coffee, shopping, book, and movie addict and let’s not forget the WINE! Between my busy life of being a mom, wife, caregiver to my grandparents, I always try to carve out me time, because you can’t keep giving when the glass is empty. I have been with Itsy Bitsy Book Bits now for about three years and I love reviewing and love the doors its open for me regarding books I may never have read before. I love being able to open a book, escape into someone’s world that they created for us, and seeing this come alive in my mind. So if you are ever here in Vegas and see someone’s face in a book or a kindle, that is probably me!
I‘m an aspiring writer with years of experience reviewing and reading Arc’s and promo teams. Reviewing for Itsy Bitsy Book Blog has a been a fantastic way to discover authors that I wouldn’t have selected or discovered for myself. Falling in love with book a is an experience that you remember for your lifetime. What ever the book is, it leaves an indelible mark on you. And, to have the greedy book horder able to run free. My goal with IBBB is to find book and authors that help me lose myself in the moment.
Hello! I’m Moriah. I have a love for reading that expands to different genres which includes fantasy, romance, and Young Adult. I like to describe myself as book collector because I buy books even though I am running out of room on my shelf. I am also an animal lover but my favorites are cats and dogs. My hobbies include reading, going to the movies and visiting the book store.
Julie Lounello has been an avid reader her entire life. She has been a part of Itsy Bitsy Book Bits for over two years now and enjoys the new books she is able to find because of this opportunity. As a child, people would compliment her on how good she behaved at different events because she just sat with a book. She is a math teacher by trade, but always makes sure she has time to read. Always carrying a book with her, she knows that at any moment she can pull it out and delve into a new world. She loves her family, chihuahuas, and her job. Hobbies include watching football (mostly Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns) reading, quilting, playing games, and putting together puzzles. Any genre is fair game because she doesn’t want to discount a book just because of that. She likes to go into novels blindly so that she doesn’t have any preconceived notions about the book.
My name is Robin Rankin, I live in Central Texas with my husband of 21 years Chris and our 2 dogs, Daisy and Jabba. We have 2 daughters, Chrystelle is 25 and married with fur babies and Emily is 18 and has just started her freshman year at a University in Northern Texas.
I always have a book and when I’m not actually reading I love to crochet and spend time with friends and family.
I have been with Itsy Bitsy Book Bits since 2016 and I’ve enjoyed my time with them and look forward to many more years.
Hi everyone! I’m a 23-year-old teacher from the UK who loves to escape from the real world by losing myself in a book. AS long as there is room on my bookshelf or space on my Kindle, I cannot resist finding a new read, even if I already have a list as long as my arm. Any genre is an option for me, but my heart belongs to the wonderful world of romance novels. Whether it’s a sexy sportsman or a brilliant businessman, as long as there’s love, passion and emotion, sign me up! When not reading, I love finding a new boxset to binge on a rainy weekend or exploring new places with my friends. I’m always open to suggestions and don’t think there is any better than falling in love with a new favourite author!
Hi, I’m Laura and I love to read and review books. Ever since I learned how to read I have found that books take me on a journey that is filled with excitement and wonder. There is nothing like reading and using my imagination to take myself to another worlds and also meet new and intriguing characters. I enjoy sharing my feelings about the stories that I read through my reviews. Nothing is better than sitting down for the afternoon with a book and eating chocolate. I read a wide variety of different genres and I am always ready to start a new story. When not reading I love to bake and I also have birds that I care for. They are wonderful to listen to when they chirp and sing. I also enjoy online gaming. I live in California and enjoy that there is so many different and fun places to visit in the state. A couple of my favorite places to visit is San Francisco and Disneyland.
Hi! I’m Katie and I have been with IBBB for just over 2 years. I live in the UK in a town called Netherton, which is almost in the middle of England! Netherton is famous for making the anchor for the Titanic and we have a replica in the town centre! I live with my husband and our 4 fur babies! We have two cats and two rabbits!
I am an avid reader and read on average 5-7 books a week. My favourite genres include historical romance, romance, NA and paranormal romance. Through IBBB I have definitely broadened my genres so will read almost anything! I have a lot of favourite authors but my absolute favourite author and series is Gabriel’s Inferno Trilogy by Sylvain Reynard – I love that series so much.
My name is Sara, I live in a small town where it rains a lot, so I read a lot. I have a large dog who likes to cuddle and a husband who is also known to like a cuddle at times. I’m an easy-going sort of person, I like multiple genres of books and music but and tend to swing from thriller to alien baby romance and country to hard metal and everything in between. I like to read and listen according to my mood. I love reading and will give anything a try, I always make sure I finish every book I read and try to see the positive in the book, much like in life if you can find one positive it can change your perspective on everything. I work as a manager in a sheltered housing project, so I spend my day being amazed by people many of which are twice my age. They tell some amazing stories and keep me on my toes. I love wine and food and my idea of a perfect time would be spent whiling away a cozy weekend with nice wine and food a roaring fire and a couple of great reads on the kindle.

I am an extreme introvert and socialising gives me heart palpitations. I love to stay at home and cook for my boys. Being a wife and mum is my greatest achievement.
I was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. After graduation, I spent 2 years in Pittsburgh, PA, attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and then moved to Las Vegas, NV, where I was a resident for 12 years. I then decided to move back to the east coast and have been a resident of Southern Delaware for 7 years.
While I was in Vegas, I got into the printing industry, starting in prepress work. Almost 20 years later, I am still in printing and have done many jobs, including running a digital press. I currently work third shift in Hurlock Maryland, where I do desktop work and press maintenance.
I live with my boyfriend, and our 3 spoiled cats. I am addicted to coffee, frequently have my nose stuck in a book (or to my tablet), and enjoy doing plastic canvas crafts in my spare time. Classic movies are very much my thing. I have seen many, but I especially love the classic horror moves and noir. I am also a huge Phillies and Eagles fan.
Hi from Down Under! My name is Angela Hayes and I live in Queensland, Australia. I am a mum to 3 adult children (20, 24 & 27)- and have a gorgeous 3 year-old grandson; as well as fostering many children over the years. I work with youth in crisis and am passionate about children/young people having a safe and loving environment in which they can thrive. I love animals and have 4 spoilt cats, and also volunteer as a wildlife rescuer/carer.
My hobbies include reading, hiking, baking, and arts and crafts. I love music, shopping, social BBQ’s, lunches with my friends, and family gatherings.
I’ve had a lifelong love of books and am an avid reader- I would rather read than watch TV. I devour between 30 and 50+ books a month, depending on time- and love finding new authors to add to my library. I don’t stick to any particular genre, I will read anything and everything- but I particularly love thrillers, suspense, mystery, true crime, romance, fantasy and paranormal.
Wishing you all the best! I hope you have a great day!
Hey! My Name is Liz, and I have been reviewing for IBBB for 2 years. I am a mother to 3 children: my daughter is 8 and my sons are 6 and 2. I work full time, and keep busy with all my children‘s activities. Between Scouts, Soccer and Gymnastics, I have very little free time, but what I do have is spent reading! I love being able to ignore life’s troubles while getting lost in a book. I am a Disney fanatic, and love to craft.
“Dear People, I’m sorry I’m not like you. I love Reading. I love Books. I actually enjoy staying home on a Friday. I’m Different. Learn to accept it! “
Hi Everyone, my name is Chantelle Smith - I’m 25 and live in the UK.
To sum me up In 3 Words: Loud, Quirky, CHOCOLATE.
I’m a working single mum with a 7-year-old son called Ollie who is your everyday typical boy. My Weekend Mornings are spent at Football Training and cheering him and his team on at football matches (in all weathers). I’m creative and have a vivid imagination which is why I think I enjoy reading so much - each book transports me into another world for that short amount of time until the next book I pick up and I start all over again.
I’ve been a member of Itsy Bitsy for about 2 years now, and becoming a reviewer is one of the best things I have done. It gives me the chance to find new authors and explore genres I wouldn’t normally read. I love to read, romance, contemporary, erotica, paranormal, thriller, fantasy, comedy, dystopian, action and adventure. But my latest favourite type of books involves hunky MC’s, Vampires & Werewolves.
Hi everyone, I’m Lucy. I was born and raised in Connecticut but have lived in Philadelphia, Pa for about 30 years now. I am a mom to 4 gorgeous boys that range from ages 23 down to 11. I can’t remember a time that I did not love reading. I absolutely love reading series and I think that love began back with Little House on the Prairie and Sweet Valley High.
I am a barber, yes one of very few female barbers. I love my job because during down time, I always have time to read my kindle. I never leave home without it.
I am a mother and a serial reader lol. I love learning about different cultures and sharing that with my kids. Reading has saved me so many times that I just want to return the favor. I love books that I can relate to and that have HOT bad boys lol. Life as a single mother is a struggle and always challenging but I push through and count it as a blessing.
Hello, my name is Heather Bass and I just turned 35. I love to scrapbook, hike in the woods, and spend time with my children. I have been happily married for eleven years. I have a step-daughter that just turned thirteen and a son that is about to turn eight. I work as a Laboratory Tech at a Chicago hospital. I work the midnight shift which gives me some time to read on our downtime. I have been a reader ever since I was a child. I absolutely loved R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series. My son reads them now. I love to read all genres of books except horror. My favorite genre
is suspense or rockstar romance. My favorite authors to read are Nora Roberts and Daniel Steel. I’m so glad that I joined the IBBB team. They are like a second family to me.
I have been reading since I was a little kid. I was one of those kids that my mom would tell me to put down my book and do chores. Eventually I figured out that if the vacuum was moving, she was cool pretending I was doing something.
I used to dream in words. I could see the dreams as if I was reading a book, page turns and all. I don’t dream that way anymore and I miss it.
I read almost anything and rarely DNF. I appreciate that an author was able to form a cohesive thought and put it on "paper".
I have 2 Kindles, a Nook and a collection of books that are special for various reasons. I collect covers of people smoking cigarettes.
I’m really happy with how my life has turned out so far.
Hi my name is Lisa Helmick. I have been with IBBB since 2016. Reviewing books started as fun (let’s see if i can do it) and has opened me up to different genres that I would not have read before. I have always been a reader. I think I just love the imaginations of other people. The worlds, the people and the imaginary situations created just interests me. Sometimes I wonder.....”How did they come up with this?”
I am a person who enjoys a good laugh and likes to smile. So Romantic Comedies are my favorite type of read. Mysteries and thrillers also come in pretty high on the list just not super dark or scary ones. Heart pounding - blood pumping stories from the thrill not the horror. Those genres along with some paranormal shifter and I am good to go.
In my spare time (ha ha who has that?) I enjoy many different things. Obviously reading. But I have been involved with Retired racing greyhounds since 2003.
Over the years we have done everything from fostering them to shows where we educate the public on them. I also kayak and have enjoyed doing that since 2009. Going down a river is my favorite thing....well that and riding giant waves on a windy day (can you say Yee-Haw). Recently we have been watching races (locally). Just the IMCA Modifieds and stock cars. One last thing is hiking. I enjoy being outdoors and hiking up the side of a mountain is one of my favorite things. So peaceful!
I have been working with Itsy Bitsy Book Bits for the past two years. I run a couple of small businesses from my home plus I care for two small boys while their daddy goes to work. I have been married for five years and I have a daughter who is 21 years old. I am currently the President of the Autism Society of Chippewa Valley for the past 8 years. Special needs is one of my passions and along with advocating for them. One of my other passions is reading and have been reading since I could walk. I love being able to give back to authors what they have given me.
Who am I? I am Cindy Mayberry, born and raised in Sacramento, California. I am 60 years old, single, enjoy reading and crafting. Reading has always been a passion of mine. While I could never afford to buy books. Reading for Itsy Bitsy has been a blessing, I am so thankful for. Crafting is my other passion. Anything from crocheting to diamond painting, I love to find new projects all the time. As I am losing the use of my hands. During the day I enjoy my crafts. Thanks to retirement! At night I read, as sleeping is not in the cards for me. Thanks to insomnia!

Hello there! I‘m Heather - married to the love of my life since 2011 with a total of 4 children between us and one very excitable Bichon Frise (almost count him as a 5th child - almost). I’ve been with Itsy Bitsy Book as a reviewer since October of 2016. Reading is my full-time hobby that I ensure I find time outside of work and other "adult" responsibilities. Outside of reading, I love spending time with my family/friends and volunteering in my community.
Hi everyone! I am a Cruise Content Coordinator for Signature Travel Network, which is a travel consortium based out of California. I love to bake and decorate specialty cakes and cupcakes. I am a cancer survivor. I have always enjoyed reading but I truly fell in love with it when I was battling cancer. When I needed a reprieve from my reality I would get lost in amazing stories and go on awesome adventures, so for a little while it made everything better. I will read pretty much anything but my favorites are romance, suspense, and fantasy.
My name is Lisa, I am 49 and live in Hamburg, NY (a suburb of Buffalo). I have been an avid reader my entire life and there is nothing I enjoy more than to curl up with a hot cup of coffee, a good book and my Siamese kitty Toby.
I’m a musician and teacher, living in the South of England. I enjoy reading all kinds of books, and am particularly fond of sci-fi, fantasy and graphic novels, as well as anything with LGBT+ characters! I also love travelling and exploring new places.
I am a grown up bookworm that still prefers books and imaginary world to the reality of our insane world. I always thought that there are three things I cannot imagine living without – books, music and movies – but when I was living in African bush for 6 months then I realized there is only one thing that I cannot live without and it was BOOKS!
I love the written world and I have been reading since I was 3 year old! I read almost anything under the sun, I believe that the books give us unparalleled opportunity to experience the world without really leaving our home … they feed our imagination and our soul; they give us courage and heal the wounds … whether it is romance, thriller, paranormal or erotica …
My journey has taken be growing up in Estonia under Soviet rule to the UK, to Africa and then to the US. I have read in Estonian, Russian, Finnish, German, Swedish and English … it has opened up my world so much, being able to read some of the books in their original language

Hi! I am Angelina. I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania with my boyfriend, our son, and our crazy Australian Shepard/collie mix, Caden. When I was younger I really enjoyed reading, especially because my mom always had a book in her hand. I got away from it for awhile and then just over five years ago my cousin told me about a free book on iBooks that I needed to read and I’ve been addicted again ever since. Recently, I’ve tried out audiobooks and am realizing that I love them as well!
In my spare time, if I’m not reading, I’m hanging out with my son. He just turned 5 and is so funny! We love going to sprint car races, the bowling alley, and the park.
Hello everyone! My name is Sheri Schrader and I‘ve been a reviewer for Itsy Bitsy since 2016. I’m 44 and have lived in Houston most of my life. She got me started early on with "A Wrinkle in Time" and Alfred Hitchcock scary story anthologies among other great books. Currently I work as an optician while going to the University of Houston for Art History and English Literature. Some of my favorite books are "Rebecca", "Pride and Prejudice", and "Practical Magic". years and have 3 Children and 7 Grandbabies, one of which is an Angel baby. I was a late
reading bloomer and found my first favourite book, a fantasy, Magician by Raymond E
Feist in my twenties and have not stopped reading. I am usually found with a book in
my hands on most days, when I am not working. Fantasy is my first love but I will read
almost anything. If I have found an Author I like, I will read anything they have written
until I have devoured everything they have written.
Hello, I’m Sunday, I have been with Itsy Bitsy for about eighteen months and I just love it. My love of reading started when I was young, but I let it go for a while because life got in the way. Now that I’m settled in my job and my two beautiful daughters are grown, I have time to read! I love to loose myself in all kinds of genres, that is why Itsy Bitsy is the best place to be, so many choices! My husband of thirty years just shakes his head when I start laughing out loud or bawling my eyes out. There is nothing better than a GREAT book!
Hello from the middle of it all in Nebraska. I have been here for the most of the last twenty years of my life and have also built roots here, so corn it is! I have a wonderful and sassy (She gets that from me) eleven year old. I’m pretty lucky to have my hubby. It has been a long and at times rocky fifteen years but that man is my life. In my spare time you will usually find me with my head in a book. I am pretty crafty and enjoy doing things that are expressive as well. I tend to be a movie buff to. For the most part though, words are my thing. Being a part of Itsy Bitsy really was kismet, even the hubby agrees.
The reason books are so important to me, and have really become something that has carried me through the last few years is the health issues that I have been facing. When all the medicine and doctors can’t fix things and this world feels like it is crashing down, there is nothing like being able to open up a book and escape to a new world for a few hours. This allows me to give something back, just a little bit, for what big gift each author gives me.
“There is no Frigate like a book to take us lands away nor any coursers like a page of prancing Poetry.”
~Emily Dickenson

I am a former Registered Nurse and received my BSN from George Mason University. I worked full time at the Alexandria Hospital for 8 years, then worked as a Visiting Nurse, and after I had my oldest daughter I worked part time at a doctor‘s office. I was a stay-at-home mom full time after my second daughter was born, and continued this until our youngest child attended school full time. I started working for our local public school system, working with elementary school students in 2003 and still work for them part time. I haven’t been able to work since March due to the development of kidney stones in both kidneys, which were so large that they caused my kidneys to swell. I‘ve had 6 surgeries due to the kidney stones since March 2nd, 2018, and I’ve also been hospitalized twice due to urinary tract infections in June and August. I am scheduled for PCNL surgery on Monday, 10/15/18, after which I will be hospitalized. Hopefully this will all be over with very soon!

I’ve been married to my best friend Bryce for a few years and I’m incredible grateful that he puts up with my reading obsession as not a day goes by where I don’t get lost in a book!
IBBB has really opened up my eyes to all genres so there isn’t much I won’t read but romance is my go-to! Molly McAdams, A.L. Jackson, Effie Kammenou and Vivian Winslow are some of my favourites! There’s nothing I love more then getting so captivated by a storyline that I completely forget about the real world!!

My name is Emma, I am 27, have 3 dogs, and live with my fiance in Indiana. I‘ve been a bookworm all my life and one of my life goals is to have a library in my house. I will be getting married on Halloween of this year. Because of my anxiety, I can’t stand writing about myself so pardon me if this sounds repetitive. My best friend and i are attempting to write a book but she is going through her doctoral studies and I have very little forethought and planning skills so who knows if it will ever get finished.

We have five fur babies, 3 Shih Tzus and two cats. We live in my hometown in Missouri. I’ve been with Itsy Bitsy Book Bits for a little over a year and have loved my time. I love to read and travel. I’m a sucker for anything romance or crime related and love sinking into stories!
Hi, my name is Jes and I live in a small town in Tennessee. I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we have one fur-baby named Spencer. I have been a reviewer with IBBB since June 2017. Hi I’m Kerry a mother of 1 to my gorgeous girl Aubrey. I met my partner at university where I studied Law. I am a huge reader of all genres although I do tend to stick to mostly fiction. Beyond reading I have been a brownie leader for 12 years, I am a huge tennis fan, I frequently attend comic-con style conventions, I love watching Netflix and I am a huge music fan. Going to live gigs is one of my absolute favourite things to do and I cannot wait to take my daughter to her first concert.
Hi! I’m Krystal and I am addicted to books. Ever since I was little, I have always had my nose in a book. My parents would find me asleep at odd hours of the night with the book fall on my chest, at other times, straight on my face. But I loves to read. The stories, characters and adventures, never failed to take me away and show me a new part of the world. I love all sorts of books in a varied of genres. My favorites lean towards romance, fantasy, science fiction, and history but I am always willing to give a book a try. After all, how am I going to find my new favorite if I do not open a new book?
My life is pretty adventurous. I have an 8 year old daughter who is in LOVE with softball and shares of love of travel and reading. Our favorite thing is to pick a new spot on the map in our state and go make a weekend road trip. We load up the back of the car, load up our kindles with books and audio books, and hit the open, (or not so open) highways. We are always in a new area every other weekend, and a typical day of us must always include the outdoors, regardless of the weather!
I am a 41 year wife. I recently lost my 18 year old son so I am struggling with reality right now. I have a 22 year old daughter and a wonderful husband. I also have 2 large dogs (Bernese mountain dog and a lab). I enjoy reading on a daily basis. Love this group.
:I’m a 24 year old women who is happily married to her high school sweetheart. I live near Seattle Wa and am a Property Manager. My passions are books, romance mostly, and TV show dramas. In my spare time, I read and catch up on my new shows! I am extremely close to my family and enjoy spending time with them and friends. I live a quiet homebody life and truly enjoy it. I have been with Itsy Bitsy Books a little over a year, and I love it! Colleen and everyone are so awesome and I get to share my love for reading with others. I also have gotten to know some authors, which is a dream come true. I love being a book reviewer because it helps out authors while getting a chance to read some amazing stories.
Outside of wrangling my kids, books are my life. I will read almost anything except true crime and memoirs. My favorite things to read are science fiction/fantasy, paranormal romance, alternative lifestyle romance/fiction, self-development, and books on metaphysical spirituality. When I’m not reading (which is rare), I am coloring or playing puzzle games to keep my mind calm and sharp.
Before I became a SAHM, I practiced massage therapy, energy therapy, and taught Yoga for nearly 20 years. During that time I also obtained two different life coaching certifications and focused my practice on spiritual coaching and relationship coaching.
I love reading; I can‘t get enough of it. I’m a honest, happy person, I don‘t dwell on things and I often forget anything I deem unimportant. I’m honest with my reviews, I start with what I feel at the end of the book. To me that’s what a review is, your thoughts and feelings on the book; not a rewrite of the book itself. What else is there so say, other them I’m bluntly awesome.
I’m 29 years old originally from Green Bay, WI. I currently live in Superior, WI where I attend school. I am studying to be a nurse practitioner. I’m married to my beautiful wife. She is a military veteran, so we are both very involved with the Wounded Warrior Project. I have three amazingly smart teenage step-children and we are pregnant with my first child. I love reading anything that I can get my hands on. I have two dogs that I love to take for walks and to the dog park.
Hi, my name is Krista Beck. I’m a single mom to four teenagers so life is hectic to say the least! I love to read and that’s how I keep my sanity. I love my books with a strong female lead and all the angst you can throw at me.
Happily married for 6 years, my husband, Owen, and I have three daughters. I work full time in the healthcare industry. Faith and family are important in our house. In my spare time (is there still such a thing?), I love to read, crochet, play French horn, watch romantic comedies, and watch sports. We bleed orange and blue in my house (college game day is a sacred event - Auburn U/War Eagle! and Syracuse U).
Hi, I’m Caralee Loonat, I am a mother to three mini adults. I have about 10 cats and a rabbit. As
you may have guessed I love to read and there is always a book close by.This is my first year with Itsy Bitsy books and
I look forward to many more! I love to escape into the created worlds of the authors and become entwined into the dramas and lives of the characters.
I love to read romances but I also am into psy-fi fantasy and the odd occassional mystery.
My Ideal way to spend my time would be to be sat on a sunny beach with book in hand and nothing
but me and that book to pass the time. I do work 30.5 hours a week and am a gym bunny but I always
manage to find time to read and escape into my world of books.
Hi, I’m Felicia! I am a pediatric nurse turned stay at home mom of two small children and wife of 5 and a half years. I have always had a passion for reading, I bring some sort of book with me everywhere I go and I have since I was a young child. My family used to drive nine hours to see our relatives in Canada and I’d be the little girl in the back of the car with her stack of books refusing to move until we arrived. Since becoming a mom reading has become my form of self care, me time if you will. I am a fan of a great psychological thriller but I have learned not to judge a book by it’s genre, some of the best books I’ve ever written were outside of my “reading comfort zone”!
I have lived for 8 years in Killeen, TX and work on Fort Hood. I am currently a foster mom to 5 awesome kiddos, and a fur mom to a kitty named Leia. I love to travel, and learn new things! I love to read almost anything and finding out about new amazing authors.
Hi all! My name is Nicole Noble and I live in Denver, CO. I have been reviewing with Itsy Bitsy Book Bits for about 9 months now. I am an avid reader and love romance books. Anything from contemporary to paranormal genres are my go-to books. I am married to a great guy (who doesn’t mind my reading much) and have 2 fur kids!

I’m a young enthusiastic reader, that will read anything that is put in front of me. When I’m not devouring books, I’m either studying for university, or playing with my adorable border collie puppy. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of English at university, and hope to get into the editing and publishing industry after I graduate. My favourite past time is to snuggle in bed with a good book, and stay up until the early hours of the morning finishing. My favourite genres literature are young adult fantasy, as well as horror, and mystery; and I can never say no to a sappy romance novel. I love reviewing all the books that pass through Itsy Bitsy Book Bits, as I get to read from authors I’d never heard before and expand my reading horizons.
I‘m Karyn Taylor. I’m aged 47, happily divorced and live in Glasgow, Scotland. I‘m the mum to 2 amazing boys - Danny who is 22 and studying accounting and Connor who is 17 and in his final year at high school. I’ve worked as a manager for McDonald‘s for 27 years. I have degrees in Social Policy and Politics and diplomas in Criminology and Social Care. I’m a huge fan of Glasgow Celtic Football Club. Musically i‘m a huge fan of Matt Cardle and also Black Veil Brides. I suffer badly from depression and anxiety. Reading is my lifeline as it allows me an escape from my demons and there’s nothing better then getting lost in a good book.
Hi! I’m a happily married mom of 3, from Ontario, Canada. Like most young moms of multiple children, my life is chaos and I love it! To find well needed time for me, my go to activity is always reading! I indulge in almost all genres and never get bored! .
I am a mother from Oklahoma and I have always loved to read. It has always amazed everyone how easily I can get lost in a book. My favorite genre is Sci/Fi-Fantasy books involving different paranormal creatures and similar beings. Some of my favorite book series include Harry Potter, The All Souls Trilogy, and the Immortal Instruments. I also like to read several other genres if the story sounds interesting. I have always dreamed of having my own personal library at home and hope to have that one day. I currently have a huge collection of books on my Kindle and also in the physical form. I work as a Physical Therapist Assistant and graduated from Oklahoma City Community College and Southern Nazarene University. I love what I do with my patients and I enjoy having the opportunity to read and review books in my down time.
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R.R. Martin
Hey everyone! My name is Emily Brockschmidt and I‘m from northwest Ohio where I live with my husband, Jake and our crazy cat, Pippy. I obviously love to read and spend just about all my free time doing just that! My various medical conditions don’t always allow me to be active in life so reading is a wonderful way to pass time and escape life a bit. I‘ve been with IBBB on and off for over 2 years and love being able to connect with so many interesting people through IBBB and of course all the great books I wouldn’t have read if it weren‘t for Colleen! I don’t really have a favorite book because it is too hard to pick just one! My picture was taken at my favorite place in the world, Trinity College’s long hall library in Dublin, Ireland! If you love books, you will love it there! The smell of old books was so overwhelming I nearly cried with joy!

I am so excited to be back with IBBB. I am the mom of 2 adult children and one fur baby. My boyfriend also has 50/50 custody of his 7 and 9 year olds. Whenever I have a free moment, you can find me crafting or with my nose in a book. Sometimes both! My favorite book for about 15 years didnt change from ‘tuesdays with Morrie’ by Mitch Albom. Jodi Picoult stole the "favorite" title with ‘The Storyteller’ and now I’m on a mission to find my next "best book ever"!

My husband retired from the Marine Corps in January 2013 and we moved to the mountains of North Carolina. A lifetime reader, my passion for words continues to grow and my love for reading has been passed on to my children. Rarely will I be seen without a book in my hands. I enjoy spending time with my family, date nights with my hubby, and laughter at any time. When I’m not reading words, I am crafting with words.
