Who (Stalker #1) is the first book I’ve read by Megan Mitcham. I absolutely LOVED this story! It had the suspense, drama, crazy and a lot of hotness! Larkin is a self-made woman who keeps a very guarded heart. She has her girl friends, who are strong women themselves, her driver, her business and the man on the roof. She seems to have it all, but someone is out to get her. Once I started reading this I could not put it down and read it in one sitting. I cannot wait to read the next book!
Michael’s Heart is the first book I’ve read by Lori Harrington and I was not disappointed. This book had everything that makes a great romance. As a music lover, I always love when music is a central part of a story. Colbie has always believed there was one person out there for her. A tragic event almost takes everything away, but coming back to a rough recovery music helps her get through it. She meets someone, but is he the one? You’ll have to read it to find out.
Give and Take is book two in the Thorne Brothers series. While I have not read the first book, I had no problem following along with book two. It can be read as a stand alone. Although after reading this one I do want to read the rest of the series. This is the first I’ve read of Lee Kilraine and I was not disappointed. Great story!
Sound of Love revolves around Nina and Chris. Nina is a smart England girl and Chris is the lead singer of a boy band. Nina is every 16 year old girl obsessed with a band/singer. Tracking down his phone number, Nina class Chris and so their story begins. The banter during the phone calls is cute. Face to face, Chris is a class a jerk. While Nina may be book smart, she is not so smart in the ways of love. the story line was okay, but for me it moved too slow. Chris was just not a likable character for me at all.
Just Exes is the story of Lauren and Gage. When Lauren’s apartment burns down, Gage arrests her for starting the fire. This is how they run into each other, years after Lauren broke Gage’s heart. Even thought its been years since they’ve seen each other, some feelings just never go away. It’s an “I hate that the I love you” situation. I went into this thinking it was going to be another exes get back together book, but I wasn’t pleasantly surprised to see that it was so much more than that. They each have their own things they are keeping from each other, but it doesn’t keep the two apart. .This is the first I’ve read of Charity Ferrell, and I was not disappointed.
Georgia Clay is the story of Clay and Katie. Clay is a Nashville song writer and Katie is an insurance guru. Both extremely good at their careers, and more or less married to them. They meet up at their high school reunion and get reacquainted. Their reunion develops into something more. But can they maintain a long-distance relationship? Can Katie learn that other things matter more than work? Can Clay get past his hangups to move his career forward? This was an easy read that is a sweet story.
Eye of the Storm takes you deep into the Columbian jungles as Mari tries to make her way to freedom. While out on her own, she meets up with Chris. Will her be able to get her out? This was an interesting story. I would have liked a little more action, but it was a good read.
The Lily Trilogy focuses on Lily, Poppy’s daughter. We follow Lily while she tries to figure out her life after catching her fiance cheating the night before their wedding. While figuring out what she wants to do, she is roped into the family business and learns to find herself along the way. The story was good. I found myself frustrated with Lily at times, but the frustration went with the story. Overall it was a good story. Dahlia’s story should be extremely interesting!
