Lilly never goes anywhere without Hun Bun. One day she leaves Hun Bun at home and she gets the heebie jeebies. Lilly’s school counselor shows her how to manage them until she can get home to Hun Bun. A very cute read.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one didn’t disappoint. Emma and Jeremy, along with Dora and Tim, receive an anonymous invite to Paris for the Paris Exposition. The mystery starts out right away with the group trying to find out who sent such an extravagant invitation. Another intriguing mystery I highly recommend.

This is a cute retelling of Goldilocks & the three bears with a science twist. Goldilocks uses her knowledge of simple machines to help out the Bear family. The story is kept pretty much the same, but I especially like the recap at the end of the book explaining each of the simple machines and the example from the book. Very cute and educational!

Nathan Logan’s life looks like everything’s under control. Whenever the gossip columns post a fake story about him, he has people that clean up the mess for him. Because of all the “bad” publicity, when he tries to purchase a studio, the shareholders balk at the deal. In comes Catrina Sinclair, lawyer and a neutral party, to organize the deal. But Nathan and Catrina have met, in a mind-blowing one-night-stand. Talk about conflict of interest! This is the third book in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I love this series and highly recommend it.

This is a powerful story of Talks Like Thunder, an Apache girl who overcomes many obstacles throughout her young life. Taken from one tribe to live in another, finally finding her place, only to experience the “white-eyes” and the beginning of the end of the American Indians’ way of life. I recommend the book to anyone that enjoys historical fiction.

This is a children’s book that takes the Deer family on a people safari. Led by Racoon, the Deer family set out to see how people live. Noah was not looking forward to working the summer with his dad. Being the city’s clean-up specialist was not as glorious a title as one might think. And that’s why Noah wound up hiding in the ladies restroom at the corner gas station from the local high school bullies. How would he get out of this without being seen by everyone? This is a fast-paced tween read. I think teens will find the story exciting and the characters relatable!

Will and Maggie are building their new life in the twentieth century. That is until they find a note from Dylan telling them they need to travel back to the sixteenth century and set the fabric of time in order. Meanwhile IN the sixteenth century, Dylan has discovered that time is altering and he needs to somehow contact Will and Maggie to bring them back before events unfold that cannot be undone and will forever change the future. When the opportunity to be a maid for the man who is writing slanderous things about their mother comes about, Olga disguises herself as Olivia Bennett and sets out to confront him.
