Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC #11) by Manda Mellett – Review by Michelle Austin

Truck Stopped was a great 5 star read and book 11 in the Satan’s Devils MC series.

We jump from past to present and learn some back history on Allie and Truck. Allie was kicked out of her home at a very young age and had to fend for herself on the streets. She made money the only way she knew how until she met a woman who brought her to the MC to work as a sweet butt.

Truck is a firefighter and MC member who was severely injured while fighting some fires in California. Since he’s been back he has avoided coming to the MC. The Pres decides to send Allie to Trucks to see if she can get him to let her in. Allie had made a connection with Truck before he left to fight fires, she hasn’t been the same since. She doesn’t want to be a sweet butt anymore, she wants to have something with Truck. Only problem is, Sweet butts don’t become old ladies.

Overall I loved this story. There are some unexpected twists to the story that had my emotions all over the place. These two definitely don’t have an easy story and at times I was thinking what else can happen to this poor couple. These two were perfect for each other, Allie didn’t see the scars on Truck only the genuine person he was inside and she had some of her own scars as well. They are a very strong couple. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. This is a great series that I highly suggest. I look forward to reading more from this author.

You wouldn’t think with a series of this size that it could be possible for the stories to get better. This is not the case with Truck Stopped, the eleventh book in Satan’s Devils MC series from a personal favorite, Manda Mellett. I do not think there was one emotion that I am capable of feeling, and maybe even a few new ones, that I did not experience while reading the story of Truck and Allie. This story is one that I promise you will tear you up and spit you out mercilessly, but it will also slowly pull you all back together again in a warm cozy feel way. The characters become so real you almost feel as if you should be able to reach out to them. I loved every moment of my time spent with these two and I only felt disappointment once I realized the book had come to a close. I truly hope there will be many more Satan’s Devils stories to come. I look forward to whatever it is however that is to come next from Manda Mellett!

I have been really looking forward to this book – I have loved this series so far and I have to say Ms Mellett has definitely saved the best until last! I was completely captivated by this story from beginning to end, I honestly could not put my kindle down at all. I have to say I am usually consumed by this authors stories but there was just something about this one, she really did take the story and characters to another level. She definitely brought the series full circle with this final instalment.
Truck and Allie’s story was so beautifully written, the emotional moments of the story really grabbed me at times. It’s been a while since a book had me in tears but this one did all within a few pages! I was so into what I was reading, I could feel everything to characters did and I think that’s definitely what had me so emotional!
Truck Stopped was an amazing ending to this series and a story I cannot recommend enough. It could be read as a standalone but I would 100% recommend the series as a whole!
As always I look forward to seeing what Ms Mellett comes out with in the future.

Truck Stopped is the 11th book in the Satan’s Devils MC series by Manda Mellett. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone although characters from previous books are part of this story.
What can I say about Truck Stopped? OMG this book dragged me through every emotion possible. There are moments of great joy and euphoria that will have you laughing and smiling. Then there are moments of total heartbreak and desperation that will have you sobbing (tissues are definitely recommended when reading this book).
I totally loved this book. The main characters of Truck and Allie are amazing. The author has done a wonderful job with these characters. Truck is so broken after an accident while working as a firefighter left him badly scarred, physically and mentally. Allie has spent her whole adult life as a whore, firstly on the streets, then as a sweet butt for the Satan’s Devils MC.
I loved the way the story was told, with flashes to 20 years in the future, where Drummer and Peg are reminiscing about what happened with Truck and Allie.
I’ve only read a couple of the Satan’s Devils MC series but I have to say that this one gripped me and moved me the most. Just when you thought life couldn’t get any worse for Truck and Allie, yet another curve ball was thrown their way. The resilience that the 2 of them displayed was documented so well by the author.
I now need to go back and read some more of this series but I’m not sure any can top Truck and Allie’s story.

Truck Stopped by Manda Mellet is the eleventh book in the Satan’s Devil’s MC series.

I haven’t read all of them but have throughly enjoyed each of the ones I have read with this one being one of my favorites. Truck and Ally’s story grabbed me from the very beginning. They went through so much even before they met and it unfortunately didn’t end when they met.

Truck is a great man with some bad luck. There was a childhood drama, he went on to served in the military and after being discharged was a firefighter. He has a tough time adjusting to life after everything but there was one bright spot and that was Ally.

Ally’s life wasn’t anything I would wish on my worse enemy. She did what she had to do and got lucky when she meets the Satan’s Devil’s .

There were lots of ups and down throughout this book. I caught myself holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop several times, but I don’t think it would have worked for Truck and Ally any other way.

I get the feeling this may be the last of the Tucson branch but I hope not the end of the series. I will be going back to catch up on the entire series in all of the branches.

Truck Stopped by Manda Mellett is the eleventh book in the Satan’s Devil MC series. Each of these books can be read as stand-alone a however there is a lot of character crossovers and background details that are best when read from the start.
This is such a fantastic series! It takes a lot to hold my attention for a span of 10+ books and yet Manda Mellett has so far done it with ease. Yet again this book is full of intense and interesting characters. The story is so emotional. With this one being the last of this chapter I knew it would be and yet I still wasn’t prepared for how powerful this story was.
Even though I have only just finished the book I already cannot wait to read it again – as well as the whole series. You really do need to do yourself a favour and read these books. You will not be disappointed.

Truck Stopped, Satan’s Devils #11, by Manda Mellett. This is the eleventh book in the series and I have read them all. I have been waiting for Truck’s book and I was not disappointed!!! I’ve decided to take a little break in reading because I am only 35% in and I have cried a total of 4 times already. Right now my heart is breaking for Allie…… back to the book….

WOW!!!! I will admit I was slightly scared to finish but I am so glad that I did. I absolutely loved how Ms. Mellett went back and forth between himself and Peg and Truck and Allie. So can you really turn a whore into a housewife??? Jump and and find out!!!!! I CAN NOT wait until the kids stories come out!!!!

Manda Mellett has become one of my go-to authors, each book of hers I read, I continually get captivated by the read and the characters. But honestly what isn’t there to love its a book with an incredible storyline and made even better by the fact it’s filled with hot sexy bikers that aren’t afraid to fight for what they want and their stories being told. This book is definitely by far my favourite book in this series, and boy is there many of them but there was just something about Truck & Allie’s story that had me completely compelled to carry on reading right until the end, and even then I didn’t want it to end. This book was also the most emotional, it took you on an epic battle of your own emotions as well as the emotions and feelings of the main characters.
Truck and Allie’s journey through this book was the most compelling and I loved following them, they have amazing chemistry that I loved watch developing and change over the course of the book.

I cannot rate this book enough! I can’t wait to read more from this author and what else she has to offer, and what else will come of our amazing bikers. Manda Mellett I applause you for your amazing mind and bringing us some incredible storylines and characters.

Truck Stopped by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will make your engine roar. This is number eleven in the Satan Devils MC series and it’s my favourite of the series so far. Truck and Allie have an emotional story to tell, and Manda Mellett does a great job showing us those emotions and getting them onto the page so well, you can feel them in your heart as you read the words. It’s a beautiful journey they take us on, but not beautiful in the traditional sense, beautiful in the way that the words are created and beautiful for the fight the show, Beauty in the tears you will shed while reading and beauty in the smiles that will grace your face as you read.
