Journeys Through SpaceTime is a wonderful story of the MultiVerse. James Talisman does an excellent job of sharing the story of multiple creatures across time and space.
Each character hears a voice that encourages them to continue along the path they are on. Every character has been raised to focus on their inner self and has learned to use meditation as part of their daily lives. As the story for each individual continues, special teachers help the characters to redevelop skills from their childhood and expand their knowledge to aid them in their current journey.
The underlying plot of good vs evil helps the readers to understand how we all have a path to take in life. Some of our journeys are more influential on the outcome and survival of our respective civilizations but each journey is uniquely important.

I highly recommend this novel for you to read!! The author tackled the multiverse with multiple characters, who were pretty diverse in their personalities, with great skill! I truly enjoyed myself with this Science Fiction/Fantasy novel! Even though the author was well thought out and very enjoyable, I struggled a little with the back and forth reading of the multiverse groups. Then trying to remember what happened in the previous chapter/subsection when the change occurs to another point of view. I love the worlds he creates and his characters in these awesome universes! My favorites were the Isonian Empire and The United Commons of Eurotopia, as these particular universes caught my fancy! I love the Utopian feel of the United Commons of Eurotopia, and how the exploration into the new chapter unravels! I enjoy and yearn for a relationship like Rashella and Cysoro have!! The getaway scene has definitely made my list of romantic settings! With the Isonian Empire, it was the way the author created drama between this AMAZING POWERFUL Queen and her relatives! The drama this universe creates has been around for centuries but it never gets old watching it unfold! The other universes are good as well as the characters, but these are the groups I wanted to keep getting to!

I am not typically a sci-fi reader as I find it very difficult for me to get into that genre. I took a big leap in reading this one, but I like to challenge myself on new reads and new authors. This one took me on a rollercoaster ride between learning about all the different worlds within this multiverse. The characters were wonderfully developed as well as each scenario described beautifully that I could picture them in my head. It all starts with the characters hearing a mysterious voice inside their own head and in turn each discovering their own journey to figure out what the voice was talking about. This book makes you fall in love with some characters while despising others. Overall as you dive deeper into the lives of the characters will good win all or will the multiverse succumb to evil. You must read to find out and this is one journey you’ll be glad you took!

Several amazing strong characters come together to fight good versus evil. Similar to the Divergent Series. The characters come together after hearing a voice to work together to fight for victory.

This book is a lot for me. I tend to enjoy fluffier, easy reads, which this is definitely NOT. It’s not a bad book, it just wasn’t really my style. However, if you like sci-fi/fantasy books with lots of world-building and many characters, you’ll definitely love this! It reminds me a bit of game of thrones, which is an amazing series but too complex and hard-to-follow for my to really get into and enjoy. Many other people love them though!

Journeys Through SpaceTime is a complex, multi-layered story. Not a bad one, just hard to get a handle on at first. As I kept reading, it became easier to read and get a handle on the flow of the story. Once that happened I really got in to all of the “worlds” that Tailisman built.
While some parts are a bit wordy, the action adventure, and characters kept me engrossed. Talisman definitely gives each world its own feel with loads of space and time factors, and tons of plots, hidden agendas and conspiracies.
Tailosman definitely left us wanting more, while tieing up a few threads. In a way this book left me feeling like I had just read a spacey J. R. R. Tolkien or “Game of Thrones”.
I will definitely be reading the second in this series.

Well written and intriguing story. I was not sure how I was going to feel about this one, as sci-fi is not normally something I read, but I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised at how it kept my attention. Initially, I felt the story was fragmented and hard to follow as it jumps around between multiple perspectives that don’t seem to have any connection. Once you get past this initial part, the story’s are all quite interesting. The various stories and perspectives that are shared range from edge of your seat, accidentally reading past your hour break at work (oops), to interesting enough to still be thinking about it later in the day. I really enjoyed getting opposing perspectives in the same storyline in some cases. I think this really made for a well-rounded and immersive experience. I would definitely read again, and plan to read the next book!

Can I just say, again, wow what a read!?!? First off I really just commend the author for adding a Character List at the beginning of the book as this was very helpful. There are many characters with different POVs and so much detail, this really made me think I wanted to be part of this story in the book. I love the action, adventure, mixed with betrayal all wrapped into this book. The author did such a fantastic job on details and having different worlds revolving around all the characters. I love the fantasy/sci fi in this and truly looking forward to diving into book 2.

Journeys Through Space Time intrigued me from the very beginning, and I found it difficult to put this book down. That came as a huge surprise to me because I am not a fan of anything Sci Fi and try to avoid it as best as I can. However, I quickly became wrapped up in the lives of the characters and was fascinated by the concept of multiple worlds. The multiple characters, storylines and points of view were beautifully written, and the story was immensely entertaining.
Even more intriguing to me was that the voice of a mysterious being could be heard in the minds of inhabitants across both time and space. This powerful and wise voice spoke to each inhabitant and gave each one of them advice or words of warning. The only thing linking the inhabitants of all these different worlds was the mysterious voice that each one of them heard. Those that heard the mysterious voice must now combine forces and use their knowledge and newly acquired skills to fight the forces of evil. The fate of the Multiverse is up to them.
I found it truly fascinating to explore the concept of multiple worlds and the vast Multiverse of space and time. The concept of multiple planets each with their own inhabitants had me really thinking about the possibility of life on other planets. The thought of a wise and powerful being that could get into our minds and control our thoughts intrigued me. This book gave me plenty to think about with the concept of multiple realities taking place simultaneously on multiple planets. This book is one that I will read again.

This is an excellent sci-fi read! I so enjoyed all of the characters that you get to read about and it helps that there is a character list at the beginning of the book. I loved reading all if the different descriptions of the multiverse! I really liked reading about Hirisho and about Rashella. The writer is descriptive but not overboard and he has a great writing style. I look forward to reading more from James Talisman!

Journey Through SpaceTime tells the story of a group of unlikely allies from all different worlds and walks of life. This group of protagonists began a fight to save their worlds and their reality. When the teachers appear, they shake the group’s core beliefs of what reality is and should be.
First off, I want to start by saying I am NOT normally a Sci-Fi, Space novel reader. However, this novel may have changed my mind! The MultiVerse is something I have never really delved into, but Journey Through SpaceTime presents it in a way that draws in the reader and kept my attention for the entire novel. James Talisman writes a story about the classic good vs. evil dilemma, that is full of wonderful characters, fantastic worlds, and great stories. Journey Through SpaceTime will be the Sci-Fi novel I recommend for years to come. It is one that everyone should read at least once. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

This is a new author for me, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it came with a good recommendation from a friend of mine because she knows that I love anything that has to do with space. She was correct in the fact that I would enjoy it as I truly did. The author did an amazing job drawing me in with his descriptions of the characters and the worlds they were in. I am a true space geek from Star Trek to Star Wars, so I was drawn into this story from the first chapter. I believe that there will be a continuation of his story. At least I hope. There is a whole lot more that I would love to find out because I became so connected to these characters that I didn’t want to put the book down. And I didn’t. I started this book after work yesterday and finished it before I went to bed last night because it was that good. If you are a fan of space fantasy as I am, I highly recommend you read this book.

The story Journey’s Through SpaceTime (Journey’s Through Book 1) by James Talisman is a differently amazing read. It hooks you in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The book has many different characters. The way the author has developed each character is just astounding. Each character is so unique that they could have between real people in real life. This novel is filled full of adventure and discovers each characters true potential. While this isn’t one of my normal genres that I read, I decided to give it a shot and ended up liking it.

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) is the first installment to this Sci/Fi/ fantasy story. Mr. Talisman gives us a complex and detailed story with lots of characters to keep track of. This story has everything that a reader could ask for including action, hidden agendas, politics, adventure, and danger. There’s so much in this story that you find yourself flipping the pages eagerly to find out what happens next. Since this is the first installment to this series there are a lot of suspenseful moments, some of which get tied up in pretty bows and others that are left unsolved, leaving his readers to anticipate book two. But if your looking for an exciting Sci/Fi/fantasy book to read this weekend then I highly recommend Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman.

The first book in the Journeys Through series, James Talisman’s debut novel is very well written! Never before have I seen a debut author so expertly weave through multiple storylines, give such in depth descriptions of many characters, or catch my attention as quickly as he did in Journeys Through SpaceTime.
Whether you are reading about a sword masters’ son or ‘ordinary’ college student from Earth, James writes a novel that makes you feel as if you are right there along with the main characters as they travel through the MultiVerse on an epic adventure. James does a great job of explaining the MultiVerse to the reader, which is what drew me to the novel in the first place. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed the recent Marvel productions, which has also played on the idea of there being a MultiVerse.

This story was exceptional. It was extremely well-written in such a way as to capture the reader’s attention. The complexity of the characters and the world he built was astonishing. The way he interwove the worlds and characters and tied everything together kept me invested in wanting to know what was coming next. There were also so many intense ideas that just made me think and I kept wanting to save them so that I didn’t forget them. My favorite is probably the simplicity of “We are all one.” It makes me think of the world today and the way I believe we should interact with each other because we are all one species. We are all human, and part of one world. That may not have been the case in the book, but in this world, it is and that’s so important and just really resonated with me.

This one was probably a lot more science fiction than I could handle. It was a really neat concept with the multiverse and connected minds. But as a reader who does not delve into sci-fi very often, I couldn’t get engaged enough. This was a very original fantasy read. The author gives a look into saving the multiverse by using several characters. It was a little hard to keep up at times due to large words but being a fan of DC comics, I actually like the multiverse angle. Having so many characters should satisfy many, they are so well-defined and each have a specific role. The descriptions used by the author also made it very easy to picture what was going on in your head. A must read!

Journeys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman is a book I had a hard time putting down. The author’s ability to not only create several complex universes and characters, but tie them together and have them flow naturally is spectacular! I fell in love with so many characters in this book. I loved seeing them develop as they learned how to truly harness their abilities. Readers are drawn in immediately as we are teased with each universe’s main characters. It made me yearn to know more, thus I could not put it down! This is a very complex book, so I did read a few chapters over to make sure I did not miss any key information. Overall, I loved reading Journeys Through SpaceTime. The only wish I have for this book is to have separate books that dive deeper into these characters’ origins! I’d love to see even more of them and what their worlds are like in different areas!

I am not a big sci-fi fan, but man oh man did Mr James have me on this book. His character building and writing is just phenomenal. He sets the world and the scene and brings you into it. I felt like I was a character in the book. That doesn’t happen to me very often. Words cannot describe the emotions that I felt reading this book. I was on a rollercoaster and I didn’t want off. There is so much detail you have to pay attention. I couldn’t put this book down at all. This book is out of this world! From the storyline, detail of the worlds and characters to the action that is packed onto the pages. It was hard to put this book down. You follow many different characters through time and space that all have one thing in common, they hear a voice. From someone that doesn’t know much about the MultiVerse this story was a tad bit different for me to read. But it made me want to learn more so I would understand better. Even though this story is detailed and very well written, you need to pay attention to everything. Which makes you want to read it again. Plus, there is a guide of characters at the beginning of the book just in case you forget someone! That helped a ton.

“Journeys Through SpaceTime” is a hard-to-classify book for sure. It’s a combo of New Age/Sci-Fi/Fantasy w/ edge-of-my-seat action and mind-bending world-building. In this book, we meet characters in multiple worlds, occupying somewhat-familiar Earth time periods, such as ancient Egypt, Shogunate Japan, a futuristic Europe, and present-day Colorado. The book started slowly for me, b/c it was hard to switch between the plot lines/characters in the different worlds we visited. But again, the suspense and great action scenes kept me pulled into the various scenarios, although honestly, some of the worlds felt like “Star Trek” fan fiction – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The plots in each world explored had nothing to do w/ one another – except for supernatural beings helping our heroes during meditation – until the book ended w/ a nice set-up for book #2 in the series. To try to present a synopsis of each of the worlds would make the review far too long; suffice it to say that the characters in each world are engaging. And the good-versus-evil theme throughout is my absolute favorite! And – I dearly LOVE the cover! My rating is dragged down by the sheer number of characters to try to remember. It did help that I I read the final 50%+ in one sitting. Adjectival descriptions and certain phrases became repetitive, which was either annoying or a method of unifying the chapters; I’m not sure which. I enjoyed the book; I just don’t feel that it quite deserved four stars, so I have grudgingly rounded it down to 3 stars. That being said, I may read Book #2 at some point, just to see if I can re-visit some of the great characters introduced in this book.

Journeys through SpaceTime (Book 1) by James Talisman is an intense page turner! This isn’t a typical genre of book for me to pick up, but I am sure glad I did! This book is so engrossing that it is hard to believe it’s a debut novel. It is quite obvious that the author planned and fleshed out his ideas and plot-line in order to make it not only good, but believable as well. There are several different narratives weaved together, and each one is compelling and unique. I find the story itself to be so interesting, and I love how each character believes and experiences similar things, and yet they are so completely different. Like I said, this story is intense and there is a lot going on straight from the get go, but if you hang with it, it’s totally worth it. That being said, it is not hard at all to get swept up with each character because they are described so well. All in all, the entire novel is well-written, well-planned, and well-executed. I am stoked to get my hands on the next installment and give a 5 star recommendation to this book and author.

This is a very well thought out and detailed work. While I balked initially at the list of names at the start of this book, each was introduced well, and it was fairly straightforward to follow. The story itself is deeply layered and clearly a lot of planning went into creating this diverse and interesting multiverse. The imagery was rich and colourful, making it easy to imagine these worlds and beings. I loved the character of Queen Neferities, with her wisdom and insight into her world. This is a well-written Sci-Fi that lovers of the genre will enjoy.

Journeys Through Space Time by James Talisman was a unique read. It follows the stories of several different characters among different time frames and multiverses as they hear a mysterious voice. The beginning of the book, while describing the main characters, feels like it was written with a minimum word requirement with the excessive describing of every single detail. It became almost overwhelming at times. It wasn’t consistent with the style of writing for the remainder of the book which I was very happy to see. However, if you like a book that gives strong vivid details to set the scenes, this is the book for you.
Beware, the book can be hard to follow and it can be confusing how each story is connected. Jumping back and forth between the different realms, I found myself having to go back to the previous chapters to remind myself who these characters are. Thankfully, James does provide a character list in the beginning of the book that I found incredibly helpful. Once I stopped trying to connect the different realms/characters and read each chapter as individual short stories, it became a page turner that I couldn’t put down. I was excited to see what happened next and the final wrap up at the end was the perfect ending.
Ultimately, I was hesitant to read the story as the overview seemed overwhelming and confusing but I am so happy that I did. Journeys Through Space Time ended up being an exciting book following different characters who had to find the good in themselves to beat the bad. Classic good versus evil written in a completely new way.

What a thought provoking read! Four different time/story lines that all end up intersecting at the end to bring it all together, in a sense. Each timeline- think Star Trek (future), Egyptian (past), Chinese (past), and current times- has their different, yet similar, good vs. evil characters. You love to hate the bad guys and root for the good guys!
This was my first time reading this author. I have to say, I was blown away by how much he was able to convey with each timeline and it not feel repetitive! Immediately, you are drawn in to each time’s story and eagerly read to see how it all comes together.

Some books are what I call fluff writing. This is definitely not fluff writing. This is not a book that you will sit down and breeze through while distracted by your kids. It will draw you in and captivate you, but you need to pay attention. There are a lot of characters and changes, so you can’t just skim your way through. It is a fascinating read, and I look forward to more from James Talisman.

Fans of time travel and multiple parallel plot lines will love this book!
Although confusing at first, you quickly are able to see all of our characters and keep track of everyone. It does take a moment to get going but once it starts it doesn’t stop.
All of the worlds are beautifully described and truly make you feel immersed where certain characters are.
Absolutely able to tell where the next book is going to start and can’t wait to see where it goes!

I’m going to start by saying that this is not my normal go to genre, however, I thoroughly enjoyed this read. It was nothing like I was expecting, which I loved!
It’s incredibly detailed (sometimes overwhelmingly so), complex & dynamic (with the many storylines and POV’s), well thought through and truly one a kind. Right from the beginning I was intrigued with the storylines and couldn’t wait to find out how they all came together, I was kept entertained the whole way through, sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to get all of questions answered.
This is the authors debut novel so obviously the first I’ve read but I look forward to reading more in the future! This was truly a journey and I would absolutely recommend it to others!

This novel was amazing beyond words. Instantly I was drawn into a journey like no other, it became very easy to get sucked in and truly feel you are among the characters you meet through out the book.
What I loved truly about this book is the characters and how they grow and as well as how they start out. Each character seemed to come from a different part of life. And each person was different in their own special ways. I found their were qualities in everyone that was admirable. And the words and how the author describes them from personality, to strengths, to how they rely on one another in more ways than one, etc.
I have always been a fantasy and a sci-fi lover of novels and especially novels that make me question the ways of science to what I think I know, I’m always a person up for debate and to broaden my horizons of my mind. I’m a science nerd for life. This book gave me that “fix” I love so much.
This novel was truly unlike any other that I have truly ever experienced. The worlds the characters visited and uncovered together, was not only described in a way I never believed an author had the power to, but it truly made me feel I was right beside everyone and I was living through the moments with them all experiencing the fun, the back stabbing they had felt at times, the whole we have no idea how to do this sort of thing, the questioning they all faced, the mystery of well basically everything, etc.
There is no single word how amazing this book was and is. It was so easily to get lost in and it made my weekend greatly pass by. I was so intrigued by this book from when I first started reading and all the way till I had finished it, it left me with a strong desire fore more.
All in all, this was truly a very enjoyable read. I would defiantly love to revisit the worlds I did this past weekend and get ready for yet another adventure.
My fellow readers, pick up this book, and prepare for an amazing read and journey and let your mind take flight on things you never thought possible to imagine!
Again, amazing read, I truly enjoyed it, and certainly will not be my last read through!
