Fuller Sight by John Stone

Genre – Metaphysical Inspirational
Page Count – 307
Cover Designer – Todd Engel with Booklocker.com
GOODREADS – Fuller Sight by John Stone
BOOKBUB – Fuller Sight by John Stone
Fuller Sight is a metaphysical novel. Much of the book takes place outside of time as we know it. Danny Anderson is an 18-year-old young man who has decided that he needs to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the girl he loves from throwing away her dreams of becoming a doctor. He kills himself by running his father’s car into a bridge’s concrete abutment.
Upon his death he meets his mother, Nora Anderson, who died nine years earlier. She is his guide for the remainder of the book, helping him review and better understand himself and those around him.
As he reviews his life, we gain a better understanding of his father, brother, and the Nigerian American family across the street who became a second family after his mother died in an automobile accident. We especially become acquainted with that family’s daughter and Danny’s best friend, Sadé Okoro. Their friendship becomes mildly romantic to the point of Sadé expressing her dream of going to college together which Danny believes is financially out of reach.
In any case, her university plans with Danny are abruptly shunted when she witnesses a drunken Mitchell Anderson violently slap Danny on the 9th anniversary of Nora’s death. Sadé takes Danny to be tended to by her mother, Ezzine Okoro. Danny experiences complete memory loss due to his father’s blow.
That night, Mitchell dies in his sleep due to an accidental overdose accompanied by liquor. The next day Mitchell is discovered dead in his bed and the death is deemed suspicious. Circumstantial evidence along with a violent scene the day before makes Danny a person of interest.
Sadé is convinced of Danny’s innocence but Danny has less trust in himself than she has in him. She determines to tell the police she was the one responsible, reasoning that if the detectives have more than one suspect then their theory of the case would be so weakened that they wouldn’t be able to charge Danny.
All throughout this story, Nora and Danny see all of this as well as the fuller view. They come to understand the karmic life lessons and how the greater community, both living and dead, are all on a path to grow, learn, and love each other. No one is excluded in the greater community, not even those who think and do their worst.
This same process continues as Nora guides Danny through previous lives as the son of South Carolina plantation owners in 1775; as a blind beggar and former commander of the royal guard in the Gorkha Kingdom (near Tibet and India) in 1680; as a monk and former heir to an English nobleman in 1349; as a widow and spy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1780; as an observer of Danny’s grandmother when she was a suffragette in Washington DC in 1917; and finally back observing his father’s actions in 1971.

Christmas is Anne Eicher’s favorite time of year. She not only loves the joy of the season, but the baking and festivities around the holiday as well. But facing another year alone isn’t what she had planned.

So, when she receives a mysterious letter from a secret admirer, she must decide if she’s willing to take another chance at love.

Deep inside Andrew Stoltzfus’s soul burns an admiration for Anne Eicher. He’s never known anyone like her. She’s exactly what his heart craves—someone whose love is genuine, faithful, and true. Unlike her sister who dropped him the instant Glen Kauffman returned to the community.

Andy doesn’t think he stands a chance with the eldest Eicher sister, though, so he devises a plan to win her heart—and her hand.

But what happens when his plan backfires?

A sweet faith-filled holiday story that will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart!

The Veil by Wanda Luthman

‘*•.¸ 💫♾️¸.•*’ BOOK SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE ‘*•.¸ 💫♾️¸.•*’
The Veil by Wanda Luthman
Genre – Inspirational, Family
Page Count – 26
Cover Designer – Mara Reitsma

The Veil is a biblical fiction book about the tearing of the veil inside the Jewish tabernacle when Jesus died on the cross. We don’t know of any eye witnesses to this from the Bible, but in the bibilical fiction story, The Veil, a Priest and a young boy who is being trained to become a Priest are eye witnesses to this spectacular event. Come along on this journey and experience this heart-pounding, fear-inducing, yet awe-inspiring event that holds so much meaning to the Christian faith.

There are references to the tearing of the veil in 3 books of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), “the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” Inside the Tabernacle were two rooms, The Holy Place and the Holiest of Holies. The veil separated these two rooms. The Holiest of Holies was where God lived and only one Priest was allowed to enter that room and only after being both physically and spiritually cleansed.

The tearing of the veil upon Jesus’ death represents what Jesus did for mankind on the cross–he paid the ultimate price for our sin, so we are no longer separated from a Holy God, our Creator. Therefore, we now have access to God because of the blood of Jesus. All of our sins are forgiven and we are made righteous. There is no more guilt to bear for our sins. We are free! Hallejuah!

This book was written to inspire all who read it regardless of age to “live” the experience and contemplate the wonderful gift Jesus gave us when He died upon the cross. But, his death was not final. He was raised from the dead in 3 days as was predicted by ancient prophets in the Bible. Because he was raised from the dead, He overcame death. We do still die physically, but after we die, if we have accepted this free and wonderful gift that Jesus offers us, we will join Him and His Father (God) and the Holy Spirit in Heaven and live for all eternity!

At the end of the book is a prayer and an opportunity to accept Jesus as your personal Savior so that you can accept His gift and live forever! Your eternity starts the moment you accept Jesus into your heart. You will live without guilt or shame from any past or future sins you may commit, if you sincerely repent. You will know LOVE like you have never known it before. You will know JOY and PEACE no matter the circumstances you are in. You will find a FRIEND that will NEVER leave you and that’s Jesus!

I left a career in sales in Mexico in 2019 to travel and find a place where I would write and maybe paint and continue my creative dreams. Fate intervened, and after four months of travel, I fell in lust with a young Muslim Turk and in love with Istanbul’s historic and exotic city.

Instead of Elizabeth Gilbert’s laid-back Bali, the energy and creativity of Istanbul turned out to be a writer’s dream. But soon, a worldwide pandemic, lockdowns, death, and anxiety attacks made me question if I had lost complete touch with reality. “I should be retired and living a comfortable life in Canada!”

From my early years as a military brat, I had perfected the art of starting over. But nothing had prepared me for the sight of Russian warships on the Bosphorus Strait on their way home to begin a war with Ukraine. I couldn’t write; I couldn’t read. My emotions overwhelmed me, and anxiety replaced creativity; Xanax took over from vitamin C.

One morning I woke up determined to heal myself and share this story. I slowly began to write again. And then it hit me. I shouldn’t be surprised to find myself close to a war zone. I am, after all, a product of my military father, destiny’s daughter.

I’m a writer, a poet, a dreamer, and a lover. I’m a Canadian girl, but I live wherever life takes me. For many years that was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In 2019 I bought a series of one-way tickets to several exotic locations around the world. After a two-day layover in Türkiye, I fell in love with Istanbul and a Turkish man. After my travels I returned to Istanbul and have lived here ever since. I’ve found intrigue and mystery wherever I turn in the Middle East. I love words, street art and capturing life with my camera lens. I create stories from what I see and what I can imagine. You will find 19 published books—spy fiction, romantic suspense, poetry, and memoir—on Amazon. My latest is  DESTINY’S DAUGHTER my 20th book.

When the German march across Europe reaches France, young Michelle Naget and her family join the throngs fleeing for safety. But their flight ends in capture by the Nazis, with one member of the family taken, while the rest of the family is sent back to their village of Braquis, France, to serve the enemy who has commandeered their home.

For the next four years, the Nagets live in the crosshairs of the enemy living under their roof and of the neighbors who question the family’s loyalties. Every day becomes a test of faith for Michelle-in God, in family, in the hope that the Allies will come, and in the letters from a young French rebel named Légère who promises Michelle that she will be free again.

But when the Nazis’ torment increases, and the razor-thin line between life and death narrows for the Nagets, the family’s motto, “We do what must be done,” and Michelle’s faith in God, give her the courage to face her enemy and do whatever she must to protect the family she loves.

Laurie (L.C.) Lewis is a weather-whining lover of Tom, her four kids, their spouses, and twelve amazing grandkids. She’s also crazy about crabs, nesting boxes, twinkle lights, sappy movies, and the sea. It’s documented that she’s craft-challenged and particularly lethal with a glue gun, so she set her creative juices on writing, which was less likely to burn her fingers.

Born in Baltimore, Laurie will always be a Marylander at heart, but a recent move to a house overlooking Utah Lake makes Utah her new love. Her Maryland years, spent within the exciting and history-rich corridor between Philadelphia, Baltimore, and D.C., made her a politics and history junkie. During a seven-year stint as a science-education facilitator, Laurie honed her research skills, eventually turning to writing full time.

The Letter Carrier is Laurie’s fourteenth published novel. She writes in multiple genres, penning her women’s fiction and romance novels as Laurie Lewis, and her historical fiction novels as L.C. Lewis.

She’s a RONE Award Winner (The Dragons of Alsace Farm) and was twice named a New Apple Literary Award winner in 2017 (The Dragons of Alsace Farm) and in 2018, winning Best New Fiction (Love on a Limb). She is also a BRAGG Medallion honoree, and she was twice named a Whitney Awards and USA Best Books Awards finalist.

Laurie’s next book, “Revenge Never Rests,” is a romantic suspense novel set to be released in October 2022 by Covenant Communications.

Laurie loves to hear from readers, and she invites you to join her VIP Readers’ Club or contact her at any of these locations.

Cherry resides in the Mitten State with her husband of 21 years and a tabby cat named Caden. A true Michigander, she points at the palm of her right hand when telling people where she lives, drinks Vernors ginger ale when she’s under the weather, wears shorts and a sweatshirt at the same time, and measures distance in minutes, not miles. Since I have devoted so much time writing such serious works as, “John the Baptist: As His Soul Remembers” and “The History of the Universe: As My Soul and I Remember,” I felt the need to write something much lighter in nature. This book resulted directly from my walks through Riverside Cemetery which surrounds the “Old Yard”, the burial place of the founders of Baldwinsville, New York, the town in which I reside. All of the ‘soul’ or if you prefer, ‘ghost’ stories take place in the early to mid 1800s, around the time when the graveyard opened. It was a time when folks were coming from all parts of the world to find their American dream. This book contains many of them. The first twelve chapters are their stories. Chapter 13½ is mine. I’m not superstitious… 9¾ was already taken. This cemetery is important to me in another way. It is our plan that my wife, Carol, and myself will be buried here and I plan to talk to anyone who walks by me. Enjoy!

I have always enjoyed speaking with souls and writing their stories for those wishing to read them. In these times of Covid 19 restrictions I have been walking through my favorite cemetery because it is “The Road Less Travelled” in these times of infection and social distancing. Yes, I wear a mask when live humans walk close to me, however, most of the ‘friends’ with whom I speak are not prone to infection or disease any more.

This book began long ago, long before I knew I was going to write it. It began as this universe spewed forth from the immense black hole expelling it. Great souls were involved in shaping its dimension and its destiny to grow, evolve and become as the creator souls intended.
The human me came into existence at the end of the seventieth week of Daniel the prophet in the old testament. My soul had lived here in many human lifetimes before choosing to live with me. I have written this book to honor my soul Edouard, his eternal family and the founders of this universe.
I have been remarkedly blessed to be a part of the unveiling of this wonderful new information about the souls involved in the birth and formation of this universe. Enjoy their words, their existences, their eternal, unconditional love.

Dr. Stu has always enjoyed spending time and conversing with souls desiring to make themselves known to him. He finds it quite normal to converse with them as he would a human. When writing with them he writes what they say verbatum or as close as possible to the desired meaning, he describes pictures they present and the emotions displayed. In his last book he wrote for the soul of Sarah Tarbell, a distant cousin of his describing the harrowing tale of her abduction at age fourteen and her growth to adulthood in a very different world. In this volume he writes for the soul Edouard who enlivened the body of John the Baptist. These works are subtitled, “As His/Her Soul

Everyday Enchantments is a love letter to the magic of everyday life, the sweet moments and the profound that we often overlook in our hurry to get from one place to the next.

What if we had the power to unplug from our daily hustle and bustle and conjure a more profound way of living rooted in natural mysticism?

We do. All it takes is the whispered wish for more everyday enchantment breathed onto a dandelion head. This collection of essays reminds us to escape into the ordinary, find beauty in a simple cup of tea or rereading a beloved novel—and joyfully let our world turn upside down when synchronicity strikes in the form of wrong turns down forgotten lanes and unexpected midnight conversations with the moon.

This book is a study in what it means to live deliciously, joyfully, and magically. And it’s an invitation to conjure your own bliss—-because let’s face it: we could all use a little more magic in our lives.

Welcome to the life and times of John the Baptist, a Messiah, a prophet, a healer, a baptizer, a loner, a lover, a bringer of great news to the Jewish people and all others who listened. This is in no way a religious book. It is writen to clarify his life, his thought, his feelings and to set right a few wrongs.

Edouard, the philosopher, believes humans will always try to take over the things of souls and the things of God and when they do they misuse the word of God to fit their own needs for power and control. Edouard’s message was to listen to the word of God, love God as God loves you, live unconditional love, all are created equal.

In his lifetime there were no people in power willing to listen to him or his message. The mangods conspired to eliminate him. He died on the whim of a dancing girl who wanted his head on a platter.

Heidi Herman was born and raised in Central Illinois, but her passion and a common theme in her writing is her Icelandic heritage. After a 30-year career in business, where she authored magazine articles, white papers, and technical assessment reports, Heidi turned to fiction writing full-time, inspired by her mother’s example. In the winter of 2012, her mother, Íeda Jónasdóttir Herman, published a childhood memoir, which featured some of Iceland’s folklore. Heidi was immersed in childhood memories of the Scandinavian legends, lore, and imaginative stories. The myth of Iceland’s troll-like Christmas characters – Jólasveinar – sparked the imagination of many readers and led to Heidi writing her first book, “The Legend of the Icelandic Yule Lads.”

It was followed by two more books on Icelandic folklore: “The Guardians of Iceland and Other Icelandic Folk Tales” and “The Icelandic Yule Lads Mayhem at the North Pole.” In 2017, she co-authored and Icelandic cookbook, “Homestyle Icelandic Cooking for American Kitchens” with her mother, Íeda Jónasdóttir Herman, which won a US category in The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards that year. Heidi published her debut novel, “Her Viking Heart”, in 2018 and it was named the 2018 Foreward INDIES Book of the Year Gold Winner – Romance Category.

Her newest work, “On with The Butter: Spread More Living onto Everyday Life” was inspired when Heidi worked to complete her mother’s final work, “Never Too Late.” Íeda Jónasdóttir Herman (1925-2019) was 94 years old and had completed a year of new experiences to prove a person is never too old to enjoy life. That message, along with her mother’s example, led Heidi to write this new motivational book with ideas and encouragement on how anyone can find those activities and experiences.

Heidi currently lives in South Dakota but snowbirds south in the winter to Arizona. In addition to writing, she loves Scandinavian festivals, cooking, photography, travel, and exploring the outdoors. She is a member of the Women Fiction Writers Association and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers.

There are two sides to a border. In this story one side is American, one side is Mexican. There are two sides to the desert. Sarah sees it as a heaven, Benito sees it as a hell. She is a budding attorney from New York; he is a photojournalist fleeing the Mexican drug cartel. Destiny brings the two together in the Mexico-Arizona borderlands of the Sonoran Desert.

Follow the romance of soulmates Sarah and Benito as they learn from their striking similarities and discover their diverse cultural differences. Witness the humble Mexican woman who inspires change in a Vietnam veteran vigilante through the power of unconditional love. Listen to the retired Jewish professor from New York who moves to a western ranch and creatively helps the underprivileged in Nogales, south of the border wall. Through a series of synchronistic events, the paths and stories of these people intersect and destiny rules the direction that their lives take.

After 9-11 things changed dramatically at the border. This story is historic fiction, covering the simpler times before the border wall became such an issue and brings us forward into the present day. The people in this inspirational story live on the edge of a political, manmade borderline. A line that crosses through cities and homelands. A line that divides those who are prejudiced from one another but also a line that divides those who love. We discover that a border wall is just one kind of wall. There are political walls of injustice, emotional walls of defensiveness and social walls of discrimination. Join us as we watch the walls come tumbling down when one prioritizes the power of love, compassion and acceptance. We may not be able to open our borders, but we can open our minds and hearts. Let “The Walls Between Us” open yours! Based on a true story.
