Some people are born to be heroes. Others become heroic when urgency forces them to shed their reluctance and bravely face impossible challenges. Thus it is with Gant, a commoner who is branded an outlaw but overcomes early setbacks to spearhead a movement to rescue the Eastern Empire, an empire threatened by a ruthless mountain king, Barlon, and his demon overlord, Varg. These two entities will stop at nothing to gain absolute power over the entire world. They open a portal to the dark realms calling forth evil creatures bent on chaos and destruction that will pour into the kingdom of men. On their journey to a final confrontation, Gant is befriended, bewitched, and inspired in his quest by wizards, nymphs, knights and dragons, all who join in the fight to stop the growing menace. This dangerous odyssey pushes Gant into a role he knows he cannot refuse. He must overcome his own doubts by reaching deeply into his inner self to courageously restore justice and peace to the world.
