Anna Venu of Arizona can be very cunning, perceptive, and witty. She’s going to need every one of those traits to survive the journey she is about to embark on after the accidental discovery of a surprising family secret. Anna departs on a thrilling adventure across Vienna, Paris, and Berlin to unravel a mystery that takes her back to the final blood-soaked days of WWII.
Anna quickly finds herself in over her head when her quest unexpectedly throws her into a modern-day European political conspiracy. When Anna becomes the target, she needs to use all her skills and determination to uncover the truth and stay alive.
Told in a unique storytelling style, this book stretches across several generations and time periods with unexpected turns and events throughout.
Alongside Anna, readers are forced to question the psychological need for aggression, racism, the abuse of power, and the unstoppable human drive for war. This book urges readers to discover the stories of their own lineage while echoing that we are all connected through the Web of Humanity, our only hope for survival.

Mina’s family told her to write her own bio, something about how she doesn’t like dark gritty superhero movies (she doesn’t) or tales of the dystopian future, but really, there isn’t very much more to say. She’s a profoundly boring young adult, and a good Scottish girl who wants to do a job that won’t suck out her soul, help her parents to retire, and one day buy her mother a smart car like she always wanted.

Havall 16 asks him, “If you could go back in time and kill Hitler when he was a baby, would you? The future Havalls know Havall 16 has gone back in time to prevent the creation of this technology and they have a plan to deal with her and Win.

Martin Ferguson – I live in Norwich, England and am currently working on the young adult adventure and historical series ‘Relic Hunters’. Inspired by the myths and legends my parents told me as a boy and with the help of my ever-suffering wife, a teacher and history graduate, ‘Eagle of the Empire’ was the first entry in the ‘Relic Hunters’ series.

When not writing, I am training or at least planning my next challenge. Following a serious knee injury, I was told by surgeons never to run or play sports again. Stubborn and reckless, much like the characters in my writing, I have not listened and have completed the Three Peaks Challenge, the Great North Run, the Greater Manchester Marathon and the London Marathon.
