Imposter is the seventh novel in the Ash Park novel series by Meghan O’ Flynn. This is my first novel by this author.
Detective Petrosky is called when a boy appears to kill himself. The family is acting strange; not wanting to help the police which send alarms in his head.
As he investigates further, he notices other abductions.
I read this novel well into the night and once I finished I had a hard time falling asleep. With so many twists and turns and gritty revelations, I don’t wanna say this book scared me but I feel like it’s the right word.
In the future when I read thriller books, I’ll make sure to read them during the day. I look forward to reading more by this author and reading how this series started.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the 9th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series by Tamara Ferguson. I have read most of them and this one started very similar to another, at first I worried I had already read it. It is a nice clean romance novel with a touch of suspense. I enjoy all of Ferguson’s books, and my only complaint is she never spends enough time on the endings. This book follows two wounded Captains, Samantha Caldwell and Ben Nash as they are reunited. Ben met Sam the day she was wounded, but neither knew the other’s name. Fate, or perhaps planned intervention, brought them back together years later at a training camp for wounded soldiers. Terrorists are targeting Sam, and they don’t know who or why. We spend the entire book anticipating the attack, wondering who and why she is being targeted. When the attack finally happened, there was very little information provided and the story wrapped up soon after. I would have liked to learn more about them, and have the scene described better. That aside, I still highly recommend this book and all of Ferguson’s. I am excited when I see another book released. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors.
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes was a great 5 star read and book nine in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series.
Sam is wounded in Iraq during an attack on her convoy but she was also a hero as well. Ben comes across the wreckage after he sees the explosion and finds Sam. She is in serious condition and helps get her stable until the helicopter can pick her up. In the process he is also wounded.
We jump ahead a couple of years and Ben hasn’t been able to get Sam out of his mind. Problem is he never learned her name. When Ben is offered a great opportunity with the military he has to find a female partner. When he goes to Crystal Lake WI to train he ends up seeing Sam and recognizes her immediately.
Sam finds herself very attracted to Ben. The more they are together the stronger the attraction. Sam also finds herself being targeted by terrorists. Will Ben be able to keep her safe? Can they have a HEA?
Overall this was a great read that pulled me right in. I really liked Sam and Ben, they were both very strong characters with big hearts. If you’re looking for a great read, 1-click and get started now. All books in the series can be read as stand alones.

This is a wonderful anthology full of great stories by amazing authors. Each of these stories give you something different from sweet romance to suspenseful romance, there is something for everyone in this collection. One of my favorite stories is Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson. I was captivated by this story. Harry and Eve met as teenagers and these two had already been put through so much that all I wanted for them is to be happy. This story had me on an emotional rollercoaster. To find out if these two can find their way back to each other after their careers took them on different paths. then this is a must read.
The Player by Jacquie Biggar is another one of my favorites. As a professional hockey player Roy was used to having his pick of women, but then one of those women turns into a stalker. Now he needs help cleaning up his image. Will he settle down and forget his bachelor ways? This story had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen. All of these books have something special to offer. I highly recommend this box set.
I have read a few books from this incredible author but she always ends up surprising me. This is the ninth book to the amazing series Two Hearts Wounded Warrior. My favorite genre is military romance and this book exceeded all my expectations. I was so excited when I got this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not stop until I finished the story. I devoured this incredible book in one night.
Captain Samantha Caldwell and her team were hijacked by Iraq’s terrorists. She had to think fast to get herself out of danger but she ended up in some crossfire. Samantha ended up just nearly escaping with her life. It is two years later and she is helping disabled heroes. She loves what she does. Samantha gets a new vet and he looks familiar to her. She gets to know the flier Ben Nash and she feels a strong connection to him. Samantha doesn’t want to get into trouble by liking a man below her rank. She is surprised when she is told the real reason why Ben is there. Samantha is now a target to the enemies she thought she took care of years ago. Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. I think I have read every single one of Tamara’s books – I was hooked from the very first one I picked up! There is something magical about the world she creates with her words, magical in a sense of the humanity and togetherness and brotherhood and the goodness and the eternal hope for the best, for that there shall be light after the darkness … When I feel down then I know that picking up one of Tamara’s books I will feel better. Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes gives us Captain Samantha Caldwell and Captain Ben Nash who are thrown together when Sam is being targeted by terrorists after she killed their leader in Iraq and Ben is there to keep her safe. The ride that Sam and Ben takes us on is thrilling and nail-biting and I was happy to meet couple of ‘old friends’ from other of Tamara’s books and it is always a pleasure to return to Crystal Rock! You could read this story as a standalone but I promise you that you will get even more out of it by reading also the other books as the Crystal Rock universe will pull you in and then you want to venture outside the Wounded Warrior series as it is like an old tapestry with threads interwoven and having created a magnificent piece of art!
Rockin’ It Home is the 3rd book in the Lawson Family Series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. I had previously read, and loved, the first 2 books in the series and had been eagerly anticipating Ben’s story. I can say that it was most definitely worth the wait. I absolutely loved it. Benjamin (Ben) Lawson was the black sheep of the family. The youngest of 5 siblings, he hit the bottle when his marriage broke down and his ex-wife very rarely let him see his beloved daughter. The only thing he wanted in life was his daughter back. Luckily for Ben he was a talented musician. In this book Ben has become a huge up and coming star but his behaviour, especially the drinking, is out of hand so his manager hires an assistant for him to keep him on the straight and narrow. Danielle De Luca takes no crap and doesn’t care how famous he is. She has a job to do and this makes for some very funny scenes in the book as Ben is used to women doing anything he wants. This book had me hooked straight away, probably partially due to the fact that I had been waiting on Ben’s story. Ben is just so broken, he doesn’t think that anyone could love him, whereas in fact he’s actually very sweet, particularly when around his little girl. Tracey Cramer-Kelly has written a cracker here and I would definitely recommend this book. A must read!

My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) by Madeline Fay was easily a 5-star read. It was steamy, funny, sweet, and entertaining. I loved the twist on the Wicked Witch of the East and Dorothy. This story had me hooked right away! I also enjoyed Titan, Leon, Crew, and the hilarious Tits McGee. It definitely fit the reverse harem idea well. The storyline was also excellently composed and organized. The characters were developed well and relatable. East was amazing and totally awesome. I love how she finally accepted herself for who she is. This really was an amazing book!

This was an amazing series the storylines pack a punch and keeps you wanting more. I love how emotional and creative the writing is it helps you visualise and feel things more there were many times I felt like I was right there along side the character’s. I will admit I have the series twice I mean how can I not the storyline is so captivating I just couldn’t resist reading it again! I would a million percent recommend this series it is absolutely brilliant!

Around Midnight is a great young adult drama by Zarina Macha. This is the first time that I have read anything by this author and young adult is a relatively new genre for me but I have to say that I did really enjoy this book. Megan Hollis is a 17 year old sixth form student with a great future ahead of her. She’s a fantastic musician and has always to go to the London School of Jazz when finished her A-levels. Her parents have moved to London so that she can be nearer the university. Now that she’s in London, away from her best friend and struggling with life, she meets Vincent Turner. According to her new friends he’s bad news and she should definitely keep away from him. Undeterred Megan starts a relationship with Vincent. But does he make her happy? This book takes a close look at the turmoil going through Megan’s head. She’s always loved jazz and wanted to go to the London School of Jazz but now she’s just not sure that’s what she wants. She loves Vince but he doesn’t always treat her how she’d like to be treated so should she stay with him? Zarina Macha does a great job at showing the turmoil Megan is going through. It shows just how easily she is led astray by Vince into doing things she wouldn’t normally do. The book was very easy to read and the story flowed at a fast pace keeping you engaged and wanting to know what was going to happen next. A great young adult novel.

I have loved this story. If you like supernatural stories with shifters and witches this will be a great read for you.

I enjoyed reading The Player (Men of WarHawks Book 2) by Jacquie Biggar. It is a story that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the last page. I loved reading about the characters of Roy Donaldson and Patience Kennedy. Roy is a man who loves the game of hockey. He has been put on hold because of the actions of his ex-girlfriend turned stalker. What is his next move? It is up to Patience to be Roy’s personal assistant and to help him smooth out his image. It is a job she is good at. What could go wrong? As Patience sets out how they will repair Roy’s reputation she starts to have other feelings for Roy. What does the future hold for Roy and Patience? Will there be more trouble from Roy’s ex? Will Patience remake Roy’s image? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me smiling, laughing out loud, and also wondering what was going to happen next. The push and pull between Roy and Patience start almost immediately and is entertaining. They are both characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I also enjoyed many of the other characters that were introduced and how they interacted with Roy and Patience. This is a story that had me wishing for a few more chapters. Highly recommended reading.

I loved reading the story Indebted to the Vampires (The House of Durand Book 1) by Erin Bedford. I love vampire stories, and this is a good example of the reason why. I loved reading about Piper. She is in need of a job and so takes one from the temp agency as a maid. I liked that Piper is a woman who is not afraid to speak her mind, even if what she says does at times get her into hot water. Her wit had me either smiling or laughing out loud. She soon finds out that her current employers have a secret. What could happen if she finds out their secret? This story has some steamy moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. Piper’s employers are mysterious, handsome, and charming. The book is told from Piper’s and her employer’s POV. The story has a sensual atmosphere and kept me turning pages to find out what would happen next. The author has done a wonderful job of writing a story that made me feel like I was right there with Piper and the other characters. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. Highly recommended reading.

TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) by Tamara Ferguson was a heart pounding read. I enjoyed the characters, Sam and Ben, they were very well developed. I felt so many emotions during this read. There was romance, action, and suspense. I loved the development of the plot and the back story. The pacing felt perfect, nothing seemed too rushed or slow
This is the second book in this series and the best yet. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. Her books are well developed stories that have something for every one and this one is no different. The characters bring the story to life and they pulled me in right from the beginning. Hockey is one of my favorite sports and I love reading about it plus romance is a great plus. In this book we have Roy who is a NFL player that has a stalker that causes some problems for him so he gets benched. It is Patience’s job to restore his image. Patience is determined to fix Roy’s image to get her partnership. What happens with them, you will have to read about. You don’t want to miss it. I highly recommend their story.

I loved this book. Vampire books are one of my favorites and add romance to it even better. I found this book to be well developed and engaging. The characters made the story come alive with action and romance. Piper is stuck in a job that she has to keep and to make matters worse she breaks an irreplaceable vase. Not only did she break the vase, her employers have a secret that could cost her, her life. I loved Piper! She is so full of attitude, it really made the story fun and easy to read in one sitting. I highly recommend this must read story, you won’t regret picking it up.

Two Hearts unlikely heroes is the ninth book in the Two hearts wounded warrior series and its not my first read by this amazing author. I have read quite a few books in this series, but I think this one was my favorite. The characters where well written and outgoing with their quirky ways. The plot was awesome with a different concept from the rest of the series. This book is about hope and happily ever after.
AFOSI Agent Captain Ben Nash met Captain Samantha Caldwell in Iraq when she was wounded after killing the leader of the terrorist group who targeted military convoys.
A few years later Ben and Sam meet up at the wounded warrior program in Crystal rock. Sam doesn’t remember Ben, but he seems familiar to her sometime. Ben has never forgotten Sam. He wants to get close to her but how should he do it without scaring her away? Now Sam is being targeted by the terrorist’s group after killing their leader in Iraq, can Ben keep her safe?
You will have to read this book to find out what happens and if this couple gets a happily ever after…
Rockin’ it home: A Lawson family novel book 3 by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is a 4.5 star read. Ben Lawson is about to make it big as a rock star but he’s running from his demons, an ex-wife, a 2 year old daughter who is his whole life and he’s a recovering alcoholic so when his manager decides he needs an assistant/babysitter he’s not exactly happy. Danielle De Luca needs a job and when her uncle knows someone who can help her she takes him up on the offer, she’s hired as an assistant to rock star Ben but is also a babysitter trying to keep him away from alcohol. During the 18 months they work together Ben and Danielle form a close friendship but when feelings get involved will they be able to forget their pasts to make a happy future? I loved this story, it had my attention right from the blurb. This author is new to me and I can’t wait to explore her other stories.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson a fantastic four-star read. This is number nine in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series, but they can all be read as stand-alone, I have read a couple of the series but not them all and don’t feel like I’m missing anything. Fate plays tricks and twists on the two hearts in this story as Samantha and Benjamin each have a path that needs to be followed as they are both strong characters, you can only follow along and hope that both paths meet and stay together in the end, but you will need to read the story to find out.
Flowers in December Trilogy compelling and heartfelt trilogy. Flowers In December a read that will move you. This is a heartfelt and compelling read about love, loss and grief and depending on your relationship with your own parents depending on how much you will get out of this book as we get to hear the story of Connor Norton a young man who goes on a surprising journey of self-discovery. The only fault I found with this was that I could have read so man more pages. Each of the character had their own part of the story to tell, even the tom cat had his part to play. Just like the other works I have read by this author a very enjoyable read overall. Coming Home a read that will welcome you home. This a great story that even though has elements of Christmas it doesn’t need to read at that time of year. This is such a powerful story and deals with matters that not all find easy to read, the way the author manages to deal with it so gracefully in such a short number of pages will surprise you. Second Chance a read that will bring flowers to your life. The emotions you will see in this story are so strong that they are palpable, you can almost taste the emotion. This is a compelling story and shows us what a truly amazing writer Jane Suen is.

Rockin’ It Home by Tracey Cramer-Kelly a rockin’ five-star read. This is number three in the Lawson Family Series and they can be read as stand-alone, but they do tell the story of the Lawson family and I have loved learning about the family as I have read them all. Ben Lawson, what a character, what a rocker, he really does push all the buttons. His daughter is adorable, and you can see the love he has for her shining off the page. When Danielle steps in the sparks fly, but should they? You will need to read to find out, go pick up some Lawson family drama as you won’t be disappointed.

All Ben wants is to play his music and have his daughter in his life. He is a recovering alcoholic so instead of drinking after performing, he takes up with women. When his label brings in an assistant, Danielle, she is prepared to do whatever it takes to do a good job. Can they both keep their feelings out of it or will things get more complicated than they already are?
I absolutely loved not only this book but this entire series!!! I can not wait to see what we will be getting next!!

5 Star Cade (Default Distraction #3) by A.S. Roberts is a wonderfully written story that will have your emotions going all over the place. I’ve truly enjoyed this series so far and I must say if you haven’t already read the first two books I suggest reading them as well. Cade and Winter, He’s the Drummer for Default Distraction and also the mafia bosses son. She is trying to keep it together after her first real love discarded her and she found herself in a life that almost destroyed her. These two have chemistry between. He’s pretty much made up his mind he’s going to get the girl. Can these two have a chance at a future together? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Imposter is the seventh book in the gripping Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. Ms. O’Flynn’s ability to spin an intense thriller never ceases to amaze me- the series is an intricately woven and thrilling showcase of her writing skills. I have read each book, believing that there would be no way for her to top the previous book/s- but she ups the ante each time as her stories just seem to get better and better as the series evolves. I have said this many times, but the amount of tension, suspense, and clever twists that she is able to create in her work/s, makes for quite a thrilling and mind-blowing read. While this book could be read as a standalone- there are recurring characters and snippets of backstory and other information which knowing would give you a much bigger picture and provide an even better perspective of the character/s and overall storyline, making for a better reading experience for you. Plus, the entire series is fantastic- so you really have nothing to lose by reading them all! Detective Petrosky is faced with another challenge in this book- another murder kicks off an investigation which will test his limits on all fronts. The past and present collide- threatening to unravel everything, while dredging up the painful memories of his daughters’ murder. He is determined to find the killer before anymore children are ripped away from their families. What happens makes for quite an intense read. As expected from Ms. O’Flynn, there was plenty of darkness, surprising developments, nail-biting intensity, shock, and awe. All I could do was hang on to the edge of my seat as I was swept along for the ride. Another thrilling instalment!

This page turner kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I loved the premise behind the story and felt that Roberts provided a very realistic and relatable plot line. The characters were detailed and held my interest. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down.
After reading book 2 in this series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Ben’s story! It most certainly did not disappoint! Ben Lawson is absolutely delicious! Hometown boy turns super sexy rock star. Sounds like just my type! But there is so much more to him than that, both good and bad. In an effort to try to keep him under control, his label hires Dani as his personal assistant. While this is definitely not her job of choice, she needs the money so she accepts the position.
Ben and Dani’s story has so many ups and downs! My emotions were running all over the place non-stop! You’ll find a bit of everything here. Friendship, family, fun, heartbreak, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Romance, faith, and just all the feels!
What this author does is write stories that move you. She writes characters that you can relate to and makes it feel like they are your friends and family. This is a series you can completely lose yourself in. If you haven’t started this series yet, you’re definitely going to want to start! I just finished this and already wish I had the next book! Looking forward to Carly’s story up next.
