This is the third and final book in this series and boy does it pack a punch. As soon as I picked it up I wasn’t able to put it down until I read the last word. This story is full of lies, deceit, intrigue, danger, suspense, and so much more. Charlotte has essentially risked everything, her career and reputation most of all but that doesn’t stop her. This book had me on the edge of my seat trying to read faster to find out what the outcome was going to be. This is a must read!! I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that this will definitely entertain you. The author did an exceptional job writing a gripping thriller in this wonderful series.

It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until the last page. It is suspenseful and I found myself on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the character of journalist Charlotte Ashe. She is looking into a story that will lead her down paths that she never thought she would find herself. As she tries to find out the truth will the danger that goes with her investigation overcome her? Who can she trust? What does the future hold for Charlotte? Read this book to find out. This story had me feeling like I was in the story right along with the characters. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. There are also additional characters that I enjoyed reading about and their interactions with Charlotte. Don’t miss out on a book that is intriguing with an amazing storyline. I highly recommend it.

From the Ashes is the third and final book in the Ashes to Ashes series and was an amazing read! The action begins right from the get go and it definitely doesn’t stop until the very end. I would absolutely recommend reading this series in order to fully appreciate it. I love this authors writing, she is able to drag me into her stories straight away – she has a thrilling writing style that keeps my interest throughout. I have to say, I think this book may be my favourite from the series, I loved the first two but Ms Holloway definitely took this thrilling read to the next level. There were some great twists and turns in the story and I loved that I was kept guessing from beginning to end. I have loved reading about Charlotte in this series, she is a fantastic character! This really has been a wonderful series and one that I highly recommend reading! I look forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

This series and the characters have grown with each book. This is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When I thought it was winding down something else would be discovered or happen. I really enjoy the character Charlotte and have enjoyed reading about her and seeing her grow as a character. I will definitely be looking for more from this author in the future.

From The Ashes was a thrilling 5 star read and the third and final book in the Ashes to Ashes series. I was excited to get this final book.
You get pulled in right from the beginning. Charlotte is a journalist who is looking for the truth behind some recent deaths. She is trying to put the pieces together to help solve the mystery. The closer she gets to figuring out things the more dangerous it gets.
There is so much more to this great read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There are several twists and turns. Rowena Holloway does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing, I can’t wait to read more from her. From The Ashes – a gripping psychological thriller (Ashes to Ashes Book 3) by Rowena Holloway is an enthralling and engrossing read. I enjoyed the other two books in this series but I really loved this one. Just when you thought you had it all worked out, BAM Rowena sent us careening down a different route. This cleverly woven tale lives up to it being a gripping psychological thriller in every way.
Charlotte has lost it all and has decided to take a job that is so far out of her range of skills but is also rewarding. But it is also fraught with lies and secrets, love and loss, danger and murder. It is a veritable of whodunit. Ever the journalist inside, she sets about and uncovers secrets of Blaxon Hall.
This is a quick but good read and before you know it, it has ended but not before you try to puzzle out the thrills and spills. This is a must read. I look forward as always to more from Rowena.

This story starts off with a bang. It’s intense right from the beginning and you just can’t stop reading. Part of what makes this book so suspenseful is the back and forth of the timeline. It keeps the answers just out of reach and creates the drive to keep focused so you can figure it all out.
I won’t get into details, because I don’t want to give away any of the plot turns. Suffice it to say, this book is spectacularly suspenseful, marvelously mysterious, and a dangerously delicious read.

From The Ashes: a gripping psychological thriller (Ashes to Ashes Book 3) by Rowena Holloway. Once again this author has left me a bit speechless and a lot breathless. We’re taking once again on a ride that leaves you with your jaw hanging open. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat and found myself trying to read as fast as possible to see what was coming next. The characters are so well written you forget sometimes you are reading a book. I found myself completely drawn into this world the author has created and completely hooked from word one! There’s twists and turns I’d never seen coming and loved every minute of it. This author is quickly becoming one of my go to authors and if you haven’t started yet you should definitely give a try. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. This book had me hooked it’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

I love the covers in this series. There is something about them that I was just drawn to. They have a unique feel to them and I think perfectly fits with the series.
FROM THE ASHES is the third and final book in the “Ashes to Ashes” series and it is my opinion that this series should be read in order. This author has a very distinctive writing style and tells a very detailed tale.
As with the other books in the series, I did find myself skimming a little bit because I wanted to know what was going on faster than I could read. This is a great psychological thriller and at times I was twisting and turning to figure out what was going on.
While this was my first series by this author, it will not be my last.

Holloway has been my new psychological thriller author. Her stories are captivating and engaging. Every time you think that the story will go this way, it will take a 180 degree turn. The characters are fully developed and complex, which allows you to follow them into every part of the story. Charlotte is that character. She is a journalist who just happens to stumble into a story of the Hall. She has a hard time because her eyes are not really looking at what is in front of her. She is trying to put a puzzle together. Will Charlotte find out what is going on at the Hall? Will it be too late? Sit back and enjoy the journey Charlotte will take you on.

Charlotte had her career and life go up in smoke. Now she has decided to follow some possible leads and check out a brain injury clinic. The best way for her to do that it to get a job there. In reality, she needs the paycheck as much as she needs to find the truth. But the more she digs, the deeper the mystery appears. Plus it seems to tie into someone she can’t stop thinking about — Tyrone. Who is behind all the mysterious deaths? Can Charlotte get to the bottom of it in time? Are the people around her really what they seem?
The conclusion to this series, this is a superb book. It leads you off with the ending, then you go back and forth in the viewpoints of the different characters, following both what happens to lead up to the event and what happens directly after. The story is very gripping, you want to just who is to blame for everything, and I admit, I did not know until the end. Charlotte is a great character, she wants to know what is going on, but at the same time, she feels for these patients. Then there are the other people for whom we see viewpoints. Each and everyone different, but real. You are held on the edge of your seat until they can find out just who did it and why. I love this type of book.

OMG Charlotte has been through quite a lot since we first met her back in book one. This series has taken me on quite the journey, and have all led to this point. I have loved each book, but I definitely think Ms. Holloway has left the best till last. From the Ashes is the third, and final book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. It is an intense psychological thriller that will tie you up in knots with the tightly woven and twisty plot. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the story- scrambling to read as quickly as I could so I could unravel the mystery, and put all the pieces together, before the final reveal. But, I had so many scenarios running through my head- Ms. Holloway twisted and turned the plot so well that I was left guessing right till the end. I loved the gripping suspense, psychological ploys, clever mystery, dramatic developments, heightened tension, and intense danger which Ms. Holloway managed to imbue her story with. She definitely knows how to weave a great tale, and keep her readers glued to the pages. I was both excited, and a little sad to get my hands on this book- as I really wanted to continue Charlotte’s journey, but at the same time I knew that this would be the concluding chapter. So, it has been a bit of a bittersweet experience. Charlotte Ashe is the main character , whom we have met in the previous book/s- and she enters this story having her life turned upside down. She’s been through so much- at the cost of her career, reputation, credibility, friendships, and even to a degree, her self-respect. She has one ‘play’ left- and she throws herself into it headfirst. Her continuing obsession with Tyrone Gardner leads her to Blaxon Hall, a private ‘clinic’, where her journalistic senses recognise the threads of a story. She needs this story to pan out, because she’s got a lot riding on the outcome. Charlotte uncovers some mystery surrounding the recent deaths at the hall- and this is where the story really ramps up in intensity and interest. Charlotte couldn’t possibly predict the ensuing events- placing herself in incredible danger along the way. What will she sacrifice in order to get to the bottom of this investigation? Because when a fire breaks out at the hall, Charlotte is one of the missing people, What happened, you ask? Well, I don’t want to spoil it for you- so I really recommend grabbing yourself a copy of this fantastic thriller, and discover all the gripping developments for yourself. WOW… this story is definitely a clever, edge of your seat read- and as I expected, is another great story from Rowena Holloway. I really can’t wait to see what she does next!

Rowena Holloway has quickly become an author I can’t get enough of. I have been devouring her books a lot lately and the latest for me, From The Ashes, has to be one of my top favorites of hers. Holloway knows how to write some psychological and twisty suspense. I often feel as if my emotions are put through the ringer each time I embark on a journey with her books. I was on edge from the very beginning until that last bittersweet chapter. I can’t say enough good about the world building and attention to detail that is ever present in all of Rowena Holloway’s novels.
From The Ashes is book three of the Ashes to Ashes series, but they can be read as stand alone novels. I highly recommend that you read them all anyways! We get the story of Charlotte and she has a trippy road to take in this novel. Charlotte is a journalist seeking the truth about some questionable deaths at the Hall. As she starts to find things out and the closer she gets to the truth the crazier things seem. Just as they build to a head a fire leaves Charlotte among a group of missing people. I can assure you this one will have you reading just one more page, or till I figure this out, well past your bedtime! I know I was up well into the night because I just had to know what would come next. I can’t wait to see what will come next from the ever talented Rowena Holloway!

All I can say is, “WOW!” Less You Know is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Roweena Holloway. Now I will also say that you really need to read the first book before reading this one. There is a lot of information that book that will give you a foundation for this book. Charlotte Ashe wants to expose Tyrone Garner. That is until Charlotte’s best friend Allie goes missing. Now there are all kinds of questions that arise. Charlotte is definitely on a mission to find her friend and uncover the real truths behind Tyrone Garner. Just like the first book, there are so many twists and turns that you will run into, which make this story riveting! I seriously could not put this book down! Charlotte’s character has really changed in the sense that she’s much more sure of herself and has serious guts! She has grown since her first appearance in the first book. I really love this series! This author is amazing at her descriptions and she definitely has a way of pulling you in and keeping you interested the whole way through. Truly captivating writing! There is also a cliffhanger that has you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting more and more! I cannot wait for the next book in the series! I hope it is just as good and the last two book have been.

Less You Know is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes series. It is left open for the story to continue. I recommend reading the first book to get a solid background on the characters and the events that led up to the second book.
Less You Know is all over the place, and not in a bad way. The author has written the story in such a way that it keeps you guessing. Characters coming at you from all sides and misdirection (or is it?) keeps you hooked.
If you read the first book you will understand why I say this: at one point while reading Less You Know, I wanted to smack Charlotte and ask her what she was thinking. I mean, seriously. Oi vey! But that is part of the entertainment, watching the characters do both expected and unexpected things. After the developments in this book, I find myself liking Garner a little bit more. And Piers…what an (insert a colorful expletive here). Of course, with the way these stories are written, who knows how things will play out. I might end up changing my mind about any or all of the characters.
Intense. Suspense. Drama. Unanswered questions. Must have answers! Looking forward to the next book. (There better be a next book, lol)!
LESS YOU KNOW is book 2 in the “Ashes to Ashes” Series and I’m not really sure it should be read as a stand-alone. There are a lot of references to book 1 AND if you aren’t used to the writing style AND lost on plot points, I think it would be a less enjoyable reading experience for you – and let’s face it… the point of reading is to have the best experience possible.
This is a multi-layered story with different threads that run throughout. It’s a mystery/suspense with twists and turns along the way. It’s one of those stories that I thought I had a handle on and then *poof* oh wait, there is something I missed. The story is fluid and, like with book 1, the timeline is well defined and told from multiple POV. Several times, I had to look back at the chapter headings to figure out what time it was and whose POV I was reading.
I’ve enjoyed watching the MC grow and find her voice and I would recommend this series (read in order, of course).

Less You Know: gripping suspense is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes serie by Rowena Holloway. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read them in order you definitely won’t be disappointed. This book is full of mystery, action and suspense, it will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This book features Charlotte Ashe, an investigative reporter. The action was fast paced, the twists and turns really had me guessing what was going to happen next. I’m really enjoying this series and I have put Rowena Holloway on my permanent TBR list. I can’t wait to read more from her.

Less You Know: gripping suspense (Ashes to Ashes Book 2) by Rowena Holloway is the second book in the series and you really need to read Bad Things Happen, the first book in the series as it lays the groundwork for this book. Less You Know is a psychological thriller that is dangerous, full of secrets and suspense and is full of many twists and turns that you don’t know what is going to happen, even when you think you do. Rowena’s skillful writing takes you on a gripping journey where you don’t know who is who and what is what.
Charlotte Ashe once again finds herself in the thick of things when her friend is missing. Investigating is in her blood but at what cost. The closer she gets, the more she finds out and the more danger she is in, shows just how much she doesn’t know who her friend is and the many secrets she holds.

a great read about truth. After the events of the last book, Allie is eager to spend Christmas with friends. But it all goes wrong with a knock on the door. Charlottes life is turned upside down when Allie goes missing and fears for her safety. Desperate to find her charlotte must uncover some seceets totry and find her friend. Can she discover the truth before its too late? a great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Although i did find the Tyrone Garned subplots distracted the narrative from the search for Allie at times but it does make sense in the end. Well developed characters like charlotte standing up for herself but concerned for her friend. i loved how the sequel was more about Allie, to flesh out this character from the first novel as shy and reserved but more to her than it first appears. i loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the senseof Christmas with the lights and tree and also the smells of cake and sounds of music for a warm feel that can also hide dangers perfectly writfen. The use of suspense was drawn out to perfection as you raced to solvefhe myserty and find Allie with Charlotte,. The switch of perspectives worked well once again to display both sides of the stroy and was easy to follow. The times and dates for each chapter werea a great addition once again and helped to fuel the fast paced feel of ghe novel and time fo find Allieslipping way quickly. Fast paced actions and high stakes made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and i eould givd it four stars.

Less You Know (Ashes to Ashes Book 2) by Rowena Holloway was a gripping suspenseful read, that had me on the edge of my seat.
Wow, I was pulled in again by this talent author I was held captive by this heart pounding read. The twist, turns and plot bombs did a number on my nerves! At times I had to put this book down so I could regroup before diving right back into this mess of mystery. Before I get to much into this review, this is book two, and I highly suggest reading book one, as there are of course spoilers in this one, and much needed background info on our MC.
I don’t want to give anything away, and any bread crumbs might spoil this thriller for you. So I will tell you that the writing is on point, the detail is rich and engaging and the tone, it takes you in this dark almost edgy place, that you can’t help but feel like you’re being watched. It matches the setting of this read, and frankly I have nothing bad to say.
Overall this multi layered, feels ripping read will, as I have said, capture you. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that this book will have you on the edge of your seat, flipping pages to see what will happen next

Wow! I just finished the amazing second book in the Ashes to Ashes series, “Less You Know” and it was crazy good! I LOVE mystery/thrillers and this book really delivered! Charlotte Ashe is back on the Garner case and this time she has help from Allie Brown, a woman Charlotte meets who has a way in with Garner. I don’t want to say much more because Rowena Holloway has woven a very intricate story and I don’t want to spoil a single thing! Most books I read like this, I can sort of guess how things will play out, but this time, I had no idea and I loved it! The twists were so good! Just do yourself a favor and make sure you have read the first book “Bad Things Happen.” But seriously, read this book series!! I can’t wait to read the final book, “From the Ashes!” I give “Less You Know” five obvious stars!! Reviewed by @emilybee430

Less You Know was a great 5 star read and book two in the Ashes to Ashes series. This is a great psychological thriller that pulls you right in. You won’t want to stop until your done.
Charlotte is a very strong and determined woman. Once she gets on the trail of something or someone she doesn’t stop until she gets answers and Tyrone is the one she is focused on.
When Charlotte’s friend Allie disappears, she starts looking for her, as she’s searching she uncovers some secrets about Allie. What will happen when/if she learns the truth about both Allie and Tyrone?
I was pulled in once again by the author’s writing, I felt like I was right there with the characters. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I love a good story that has me thinking the whole time and I was surprised with the ending as well. There are several twists and turns. The secondary characters were great. If you’re looking for a great psychological thriller I highly suggest this series/book. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Wow! The second book in this series and I loved it just as much as, if not more than, the first one! This can be read as a standalone however I would 100% recommend reading book 1 also. The story was an exciting, gripping read that I had a really hard time putting down. The twists and turns in the story are probably amongst some of the best I have ever read; just when I thought I knew what was going to happen there was another twist. The author absolutely kept me on my toes and on the edge of my seat with this read. The ending was brilliant! I loved that I couldn’t even begin to guess what was going to happen in the story, I felt like I was trying to solve it alongside reading it. The dual point of view meant I got information from different characters as I was trying to piece together just what had happened! A fantastic, gripping read one that I absolutely recommend! I am certainly looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.
