San Diego Dead (Jake Wolfe #4)San Diego Dead by Mark Nolan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a well developed story that kept me turning pages until the end. In this book we get to see Jake and his dog again for another adventure. Jake is a great character that bring the story to life and of course you can’t forget the adorable dog. Jake thinks he is going on a vaction until it turns dangerous. Their new adventure is full of action, drug cartels and a deadly database. I highly recommend reading this book and find out what happens next.

FriendFriend by M.L. Sparrow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a friendship to relationship book that I enjoyed. I think this is my favorite yet of this author’s books. I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. It was an emotional read in parts and does have a couple of triggers but you will find a great romance story. Terri wanted everything until she was attacked at college. Now she feels lost and shattered. Jet has been her friend but what will happen when he starts noticing things about her? I highly recommend this book.

She discovers some secrets but will she be able to hold it together long enough to find answers? I highly recommend this book, great friendship and family connections.

Virtue & Vice (Spicetopia Book 2)Virtue & Vice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the previous book first to help set the tone for this series. This is one of my favorite authors. She always pulls me into her story right from the beginning, they are fast reading and always leave you wanting more. In this book we get to see Moon and Katja’s story. They are great, strong characters that pop off the pages and don’t forget the steam they add to the story. This is a must read!

The Complete Fenris SeriesThe Complete Fenris Series by Samantha MacLeod
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have loved this series from the first book. It is a romance fairytale that will keep you fast reading through each book. Each book builds on the other to create a great Norse folklore fairytale adventure. The characters are strong and support each other and make the story come alive. I loved watching Fenris and Sol’s relationship grow through each book. Their story is one of trust, it is dark, sexy, and magical, what more could you ask for in a story. This is a must read!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a psychological-suspense thriller that I loved. I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat and kept me turning pages until the end. The twists and turns were engaging and left you guessing on what would happen next. Lincoln and Mina have great attraction but there is a mistrust between them especially when a dead body is found. Realistic characters in a great story that you will want more from. A must read.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed. This is a sweet fairy tale that I read in one sitting. This story is whimsical and full of imagination. This would make a great bedtime story for any young child. The artwork will keep them engaged and entertained. It reads like an old folklore song that is kind of catchy and fun. Find out what happens when a fairy gets a wish and what that wish would be. This is a great story with cute characters.

Elemental Fae Academy (Elemental Fae Academy, #1)Elemental Fae Academy by Lexi C. Foss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in this new paranormal series. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It has a little bit of everything in it from action to romance. I was pulled in right from the start and engaged to the end. The characters, especially Claire, brought this story to life. Who knew the power of one kiss. Claire has special powers that normal Fae do not have but does she realize how powerful they really are and what they could destroy? Great story and great characters, I highly recommend it.

I loved this book! This is a romance story that pulled me in right from the start. The author writes with emotion and well developed ideas. The characters pop off the pages and made the story feel realistic. I read this book in one sitting, a page turner to the end. Two sisters, Gabby and Abby. Abby is the responsible one and Gabby is more wild. What will happen when the sisters are mixed up? Can there be a happy ending for one of them? This is my favorite yet so far and a must read.
