Anger (Hero High Book 2) by Mina Chara – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Anger (Hero High, #2)Anger by Mina Chara
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much if not more than the first one. This is a young adult story that is full of supernatural powers. It will keep you guessing as you try to figure out where the villians came from. This story is full of action with villains and heroes. The problem is you don’t know who is who and who is watching. Will the MC figure it out before it’s too late? I enjoyed the characters in this story. I had no problem connecting with them, even the villains who helped make the story flow and engaging. It is fast paced and had me turning pages fast. I highly recommend this book as well as the first one, you won’t regret picking them up.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. This is one of my favorite series and who doesn’t love an awesome Mafia story! This book is full of action right from the first page and continues to the end. The characters made the story feel realistic and brought the heat and steam to the story. If you haven’t met Jay and his team, you will want to for sure! They bring twists and turns that left me turning pages fast. This is the second book in this series and I highly suggest reading the first book before this one to help get the full effect of this story and characters. I was pulled into the story from the start and lost total track of time until I hit the last page. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Marked for Death (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 6) by Amy McKinley – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Marked for Death (Gray Ghost #6)Marked for Death by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the sixth book in this series, I loved it just as much as the previous books. This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the entire series as they are that good. This is a well developed story that is creative. The author’s attention to detail made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. Keegan and Kara make the story engaging and kept me turning pages. The secondary characters are supportive and just as engaging. Keegan and his team were hired to rescue Americans when they came across Kara. Kara realizes that they are on a similar mission but will happen when she realizes that she knows Keegan? What will she do when she finds that her feelings for him haven’t left? What will happen to their mission? They are my favorite characters and I loved their chemistry. I highly recommend reading their story to see if survival is part of the mission.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. I never hesitate to pick up this author’s books. They are well written with connectable, lovable characters that make the story realistic. This book is no different. It is a story of a witch, wolf and fated love. Kingsley is a wolf who has given up on finding a mate until he meets Eva. Eva has given up on men but there is something about Kingsley she can’t resist. Can a wolf and a witch be life mates? I love their chemistry and their attraction to each other. They are strong characters that kept me turning pages, I had to know what happened to them. Is it possible that they will find their HEA? I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. It is a well written story that I was pulled into from the very beginning. The characters are connectable and made the story feel realistic. The twists and turns that Beau and Wynn took me on had me sitting on the edge of my seat as well as turning pages fast. Beau is a newly appointed sheriff. Wynn has had trouble with the law in the past. Beau shows up on Wynn’s doorstep questioning her residents about the robbery. This is where the story picks up and I couldn’t put it down. Rules are broken and the past comes to the present. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.

This is the second book in this series and the best yet. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. Patience is determined to fix Roy’s image to get her partnership. What happens with them, you will have to read about. You don’t want to miss it. I highly recommend their story.
