This book was so amazing! I rate it 5 stars! I loved the story between Layla and Gavin! It had me hooked right away. I never read a mafia romance, but I’m glad I did! The story just flowed so well,. It progressed very well. I love books that have you hooked from page one. These two are so different, but so much alike at the same time. I will be reading more mafia books now! It’s such a good book!

I do really love indulging in a dark twisted mafia book sometimes it can be hard to find a great one well this one was fantastic from start to finish. There is so much going on with all the action and drama it had me sitting at the edge of my seat i was absolutley captivated by the storyline i just couldn’t put it down. I’m very eager and excited to read more from this author, very talented and you will get completely lost in the story brilliantly written.

Beginning to end, this book was a suspenseful ride that had me on the edge of my seat. I think I might have left indentations in my Kindle from gripping too hard at times. The book was very well written with a riveting plot and complex characters. It kept me guessing throughout. Really enjoyed reading this book and looking forwarding to reading more in this series.

I LOVED this book!! It was the dark, gritty kind of read that I have come to love. Lyla and Gavin were brilliant to read about. I was hooked from the very beginning until the last word and even then I couldn’t wait to get started on book 2! I’m going to be honest I loved Gavin – I probably shouldn’t have but there was just something about him, psycho side apart I think he actually did love Lyla, he definitely just had a strange way of showing it! He was over the top, alpha male and the author had clearly thought about him and his development, he never changed at all over the story.
The storyline was full of twists and turns which I loved! And the ending!! Oh my gosh I need the next book now! I need to know what happens and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
If you are a fan of dark mafia reads then Crime Lord’s Captive is one book that you should definitely one click!!

Crime Lords Captive is the first book in the Crime Lord series written by Mia Knight ad the first book that I have read by this author. This is a dark, twisted story that and I loved it. Ms. Knight captivated from the first page of this book. The characters are well written and strong minded and the storyline was amazing and believable.
Lyla fled from her ex, Gavin Pyre three years ago after she found out he was cheating on her. She created a new identity and began a relationship with a man who knows nothing about her past. The normal life she built for herself is shattered when Gavin blackmails her into returning to Las Vegas where he rules the criminal underworld. Now that she is back in Vegas she has to navigate through the dark secrets of her past she’s forced to face a man who refuses to let her live without him.
Gavin Pyre is the head of the underworld of Vegas he lost Lyla once but he won’t lose her again he will do anything to keep her even threaten the one’s she loves. Gavin’s Enemies are swarming around can he keep Lyla safe?
There are bad things happening in Vegas Can Lyla stay safe with Gavin’s enemies lurking around? Will Lyla survive Gavin this time? Can Lyla forgive Gavin for his past mistakes?
You will have to read this story to find out the answers and I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Knight has in-stored for us in book 2.
