Taming Brooklyn (The Club Kings Series Book 1) by Charlotte St. Pierre – Review by Crystal Jimmo

Taming Brooklyn (The Club Kings Series Book 1)Taming Brooklyn by Charlotte St. Pierre
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story was fantastic to read. I love it when there are multiple characters vying for one main character and there is no having to choose. Brooklyn is a very complex woman. She has gone through some stuff and seen some stuff. She’s running from everything that makes her feel because it’s easier to handle In walks Aiden, Gideon, Oliver, Jaxon, and her world is about to turn topsy turvy. They push her boundaries and make her feel things she’d rather not feel anymore, and confront her darkest secrets. The chemistry between the 5 of them is undeniable and so well balanced out. There’s no favoritism, everyone has their balance and it works. Brooklyn’s story has kept me captivated and wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in book two and where the guys take her.

Amaleigha Loves a Good Story by Janice Pratt – Review by Crystal Jimmo

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Amaleigha Loves a Good Story is another cute book my kids and I loved reading. She tackles a problem of people from other countries not being able to read in her local library, so she has taken it upon herself to try and solve this problem. Being an avid reader myself, I found a little bit of myself in her all over again. My two kids ages 6 and 10 loved the problem-solving and creative ways that Amaleigha takes on problems. After reading this book, my kids asked to go to our own local library to see what books they can get out for themselves. This book definitely planted a seed of loving books in my kids that I hope will grow!

If I Had a Magic Wand by Melissa Lavi – Review by Crystal Jimmo

If I had a Magic WandIf I had a Magic Wand by Melissa Lavi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had pulled at my heartstrings while reading to my kids. They loved seeing the different families, and as the wand was passed from family to family. My kids were ages 6 and 10 but they loved the book just the same. The message was sweet and heartfelt, and definitely should be a staple in every family. My family will be reading it as a bedtime routine from now on!
