Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan #2)Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The second book in The Titan of Manhattan series. Begins with what seems to be the perfect life of Anton and Elsa, takes a twist when several major life changing events happen for them. I really enjoyed following the way they handled real life events in such a relatable way in order to make their long distance marriage and all the other tribulations within their marriage work. After so many issues and trials, the ending was the outcome I had hoped for and they deserved. This book is a great stand alone or a great stepping stone in the world Titans of Manhattan.

I genuinely enjoyed this book! Its the third in the authors Mafia Elite series, and although I have not read the first two books in the series I was not lost and this book can easily be read alone! I really enjoyed Emiliana and Stefano’s story. It was action packed and full of romance! I also loved reading about the relationship between Emiliana and her friends! I will be picking up the first two books now and cannot wait to read the rest of the authors series!

This book! OMG! This book had me filled with so many emotions. I went from happy, to sad, to MAD, to happy again, to infuriated, to blissful! This book definitely keeps you on your toes, and begging for more! It follows Paisley who has hit rock bottom, not just financially but emotionally as well. And Caspian who at the top of his game has a bombshell dropped on him: get married or loose the company he has spent his whole life working for. Pick this book up, you will not regret it. I cannot wait to read the next in this series!

Mom, Is There a Santa Claus? by Susan J Berger Illustrator: KC Snider – Review by Emily Cook

Mom, Is There a Santa Claus?Mom, Is There a Santa Claus? by Susan J. Berger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a wonderful story of a young boy, Lucas, who starts to question the existence of Santa Clause. This book is perfect for 7-10 year olds, when they start to ask those tough questions about the magic of Christmas. My boys aren’t quite old enough yet, but I will be holding on to this book for the next year or 2 when my oldest gets curious. This book also hit home with me, to guard the dream and keep the spirit of Christmas alive.
“There will always be a Santa Clause as long as children believe, and people like you guard the dream.”

“We will turn what society believes about us to ash. We are going to set the world on fire Archeron. We’re going to burn it all.”

In a world where vultures and jackals aren’t meant to be together, Archeron and Errapel defy all odds to be together. This is a wonderful short story that captivates you the entire time, and has you begging for more. It took me about an hour to read, and is well worth it! Crossing my fingers that Naomi Valkyrie writes more stories about these characters!

5 out of 5 stars

Mark a hot shot attorney with a past he doesn’t want to reveal. Lauren an independent woman who doesn’t need nor want to be taken care of. When two meet at a mutual friend’s wedding, where their relationship begins lustful and slowly turns romantic. This book is full of real-life issues and drama that is so easy to relate to! Reading this book brought back lots of memories of my own personal relationship with my husband and was oh so nostalgic for me! 10 out of 10 recommend! I absolutely adored this book! If I could rate by chili peppers, this read would get 5 easily!
