Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley – Review by Jonell Collins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In the ending credits Mya O’Malley says her book was long in the making but she thinks it was worth the wait. I find I must agree with her one hundred per cent. Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley is a five-star story any day. A great romance, squeaky clean just the way I love them. Heartwarming and hopeful. A tricky little who done it adds just the right flavor. I love her books and I will continue to look for more.

The Longest Run: a Ski Patrol Rescue Romance (Lawson Family #4) by Tracey Cramer-Kelly – Review by Gail Guerrero

Five Stars

This story will have you sad and happy at the same time. Chris has been through a lot. He had the Olympics in his future until a skiing accident took that dream away. He is a very strong character because he picked himself back up and two years later he was skiing again as a paraplegic. During training he found something he didn’t know he was looking for. Carly is a very special woman. She didn’t look at Chris any less because he was in a wheelchair. She saw a man and what the possibilities could be. The scenes were definitely interesting and different. I couldn’t imagine the pain and fear these characters felt. The author did an amazing job writing these characters

Nite Fire: Flash Point (Volume 1) AUDIO BOOK by C.L. Schneider – Review by Jonell Collins

I love a good mystery and I especially love a good thriller. Nite Fire: Flash Point (Volume 1) AUDIO BOOK by C.L. Schneider was all that and more. Plenty of action and adventure, plenty of opportunity to try and figure out “who done it” and I really enjoyed Cassandra King’s reading. She gives life to each of the characters and makes the story pleasant to listen to. I’m looking forward to the next one in this series.

Isle of Wings: A Silverglen Companion Novel by E.A. Burnett

This is the first book I’ve read by Burnett. She has a way with the words and I love it. Burnett knows how to capture our, the readers, attention and keep it.

Roana is the only one left in her family. Her dad being a Rain Mage and the last one heard of is now gone. Her sister was training to be a Rain Mage. Now everyone blames her for their death. The quote I chose for Roana is: “I’m sure we’ll find it.”

Iniko isn’t sure how to move on with his life. With his father taken during a horrible storm. One that didn’t seem natural. After meeting Roana he knows things weren’t as they seemed. The quote I chose for Iniko is: “We need to get you to a healer. We have to walk to Taragona. Do you think you can walk that far?”

Highly recommended for YA Fantasy lovers.
