The Inheritance, The Story of an Unlikely Submissive AUDIO BOOK by India Kells – Review by Josie Coletti

This book is definitely HOT HOT HOT. The characters were interesting, though I would have liked a little more background on each. The storyline itself was good, and the audible version was enjoyable – the narrator’s voice is like melted butter SO YUMMY!! The ending was anti-clamatic after all the steaminess of the story, but overall a easy enjoyable listen.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Josie Coletti

A quick listen for a relaxing Saturday. This story had a good storyline, interesting characters and a happy ending. The dynamic of the flashbacks was great, but it was hard to grasp in the beginning. Probably would have realized if I read the book vs listening to the audible version. But good overall and the flashback dynamic made it interesting.

Queen Of My Heart (Life Won’t Wait Book 1) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Josie Coletti

Queen Of My Heart (Life Won't Wait Book 1)Queen Of My Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this book. It was a grabber from the start, which is always great. The characters and plot were believable. The highs and lows were realistic, dealing with personal fears of failure and accomplishment – who doesn’t go through this in their own lives. Overall the book was kitschy, an enjoyable read, time well spent decompressing from the stresses of reality.

The SEAL’s Temptation (Wounded Hearts Book 7) by Jacquie Biggar – Review by Josie Coletti

The SEAL's Temptation (Wounded Hearts #7)The SEAL’s Temptation by Jacquie Biggar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was a slow starter for me at first, but the storyline eventually caught my attention – probably should have started with the first book in the series. Overall, I felt it was a good read with drama, action, intrigue, and romance. The characters were believeable and interesting. Definitely going to go back and read the books from the beginning. I felt ikke I was missing much of the plot not having read the first 6 books. Overall a good read and great way to spend some quiet time.

At Last (The Adams Brothers BOOK 1) by Mindy McKinley – Review by Josie Nickelberry

At Last (Adams Brothers, #1)At Last by Mindy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

READ THIS BOOK!!! The first in a three book series, this book by far was the best of the bunch. I laughed, I cried, and I feel in love with Dom and Lula! The storyline was funny, heartfelt, romantic, and exciting. I was so invested in the story, I actually lost sleep staying up through the night to finish it, lol. If Mindy McKinley can recreate this story dynamic and flow with her writing on future books, I will definitely be reading more of her work going forward.

At Once (The Adams Brothers Book 2) by Mindy McKinley – Review by Josie Coletti

At Once: Adams Brothers: Book 2At Once: Adams Brothers: Book 2 by Mindy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a cute book, the underling message from which the author discussed in an excerpt at the end was a bonus. I commend the author for touching on this subject. The characters were cute and funny. It was very easy to read, I got through it in about half a day due to interruptions, but easily could get done in a few hours. The development of the characters was good and I hope to see the support characters in books of their own. Overall, good book and well written.

At All (The Adams Brothers Book 3) by Mindy McKinley – Review by Josie Coletti

At All (Adams Brothers, #3)At All by Mindy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The third book in the series, I enjoyed this book tremendously. The real life struggles of the main characters brought a realism to the book where unrealistic fantasy normally resides. What I like most about this author is her ability to get buy in on the characters, you become invested in their story lines and want to see how their story develops. Hopefully the author will continue with other books in the series and highlight develoment of other characters within the world of the Adams brothers. If she does, I am totally here for it!

I wasn’t sure I would like the book from the first couple of chapters, but I was very pleasantly surprised and got completely sucked into the world of Titanians, Phoenixs and the like. To say I enjoyed the book is an understatement, I loved this book! The story has action, adventure, intrigue, romance, mystery and excitement. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
