The True Garza (Red Cage Book 3) by S. Ann Cole – Review by Yellowtulips11

The True Garza (Red Cage, #3)The True Garza by S. Ann Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holy H*ll this book was smoking hot! I was instantly captivated by True and London’s story. Lonny is a true badass and I love how she easily banters back and forth with True and holds her own. True is hot and always ready, except he can’t commit if his life depended on it. When they first meet and have a scorching fling in the woods, they both didn’t realize the impact that encounter would have on each of them. Fast forward a year and thousands of miles later, and they meet again when Lonny unknowingly starts working for True’s company. Their attraction and addiction to each other is apocalyptic. Throw in a mystery full of danger and unexpected turns, makes this 5 star book a page turner. Be prepared to be up all night reading it! I can’t wait to read the other titles in this series.

The Day the Librarian Saved the Galaxy by Stephanie Wilson Peterson – Review by Yellowtulips11

The Day the Librarian Saved the GalaxyThe Day the Librarian Saved the Galaxy by Stephenie Wilson Peterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I decided to read this book with my daughter as part of our night time routine. She isn’t keen on alien storylines, as she has an active imagination and scares easily. However, she had no problem with this book! In fact, she laughed quite a bit and loved to pretend she was one of the characters in the story. She said she can’t wait to tell her teacher about this book.

It was a great book for us to share together and we both got a kick out of it. We talk about it often and my son looks as us confused when we say words like “glorp” or “spaghettified.” We told him that he will just have to read the book himself to find out. It was a great story and we look forward to reading more by this author.

Collateral Damage (Mafia Elite Series Book 6) by Amy McKinley – Review by Yellowtulips11

Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite Book 6)Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Collateral Damage is the 6th book in Amy McKinley’s Mafia Elite Series. Boy, has this series been a rollercoaster of emotions! And I am LOVING every single book more and more.

In this story we follow Mafia surgeon Dr. Trey La Rosa, whom we have already met in previous books in the series. Trey has his own unique past and heartache and when he meets Hailey, you can’t help but root for them to have a HEA. The two are thrown together when Trey comes to her rescue as she has been abducted. He didn’t expect to find someone to rekindle the spark in his heart after his own tragedy, and when he found Hailey, he wasn’t about to lose her too. Hailey and Trey are on a dark journey filled with lies and betrayal. Will they make it out alive and together? You will have to read this story to find out!

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite Book 2) by Amy McKinley – Review by Yellowtulips11

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blood Oath by Amy McKinley is the second book in the Mafia Elite Series. The book can be read as a stand alone, however, it’s the 3rd book I have read in the series. Even though I didn’t read the books in order, it was easy to follow along.

This story focuses on the story of Enzo and Sofia. A pair with a past and an uncertain future. This book ties in perfectly with Book 1 and I loved following Enzo and Sofia on their own journeys together. The fire is exceptional between the two and it sets up the storyline perfectly for the next book in the series. I am definitely a fan of Amy McKinley!

No Way Out (Mafia Elite Book 1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Yellowtulips11

No Way Out (Mafia Elite, #1)No Way Out by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No Way Out by Amy McKinley is the first book in the Mafia Elite Series. In this book we meet Liliana Brambilla, the daughter of one of the Heads of the Five Families that make up the Cosa Nostra organization. Stuck under her father’s rule, Liliana just wants freedom and independence to make her own decisions. She is surrounded by her close friends and they give her comfort and peace, however, her world is disrupted when she meets her new bodyguard “Matt”.

“Matt’s” real name is Max. He has infiltrated the family at the orders of Liliana’s grandfather in Sicily. He has made himself invaluable to them in order to get close to Liliana. When he becomes her personal bodyguard, he finds himself feeling more deeply for her than he anticipated. The two collide as they are up against violence and betrayals. Their story is hot and passionate and keeps you on the edge of your seat and ready to see what the rest of the series holds in store!
