The Unholy by Paul Deblassie III-Review by Elena Tobar

The Unholy: A Supernatural TaleThe Unholy: A Supernatural Tale by Paul DeBlassie III
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book reveals the very dark side of religion that can spring up when someone perverts what a religion is originally meant to stand for. People become drunk with power and stoop to any level to grasp life, and even more power and it’s truly terrifying the lengths that they will go to. Claire yearns to know what happened to her mother right before her eyes when she was such a young girl. Unfortunately, the gentle medicine woman comes face to face with the terrifying, evil Archbishop Anarch. There’s a really big twist revealed at the end that shows just how much of a monster he truly is. This is a really gripping book that drew me right in from the very first page to the last.
