Gunner (Hollins & Haring #3)Gunner by T.J. Beach
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reading this as a stand-alone rather than as a part of the series. This book has a very interesting plot line, and it hops for a second and takes a bit to get orientated. Dealing with PTSD, Covid, and overall feelings of grief and anger, we have to follow four lines of plot. It is well written but a struggle to get into at first.

It’s a thriller that follows Debbie and Gary as they become patterns, and she learns about his past and why he’s changed so much. Going around the pandemic, it truly hits home for a lot of us as the last few years sink in.

Overall good read.
