In the second book in the series, Genie and Adriana find themselves on holiday in Italy. While there, they hope to recover a dress formerly owned by Adriana at an auction house. When the auction house goes up in flames before the auction, Genie and Adriana find themselves knee deep in another murder investigation, with the hunk Matt on the sidelines to offer help again.
Opinion
I found this book utterly charming. The suspense of will they/won’t they concerning Genie and Matt kissing kept me on the edge of my seat. (No, I will not tell you if they did.) The fact that Adriana is a ghost and can talk to animals kept me intrigued. (I’d love that ability!) Overall, I found this to be a great mystery book with loads of charm to it.
