Cute cowboy contemporary love story!

This is the first book I’ve read by Author Dana Wayne and she hooked me with this one! I could hardly put it down wanting to know how it ended. 

Lexie deserves a vacation, but things go sideways before she can even enjoy it. Jake is a simple rancher with a guarded heart. Little do they both know they’re exactly what each other needs. Things get a little mixed up when Jake’s daughter instantly connects with Lexie. Although, she’s the epitome of “children mimic what they see and hear”; she’s absolutely precious. The dog, Biscuit, shows his intelligence as the book progresses.

Both sides of the family are protective and loving in their own way and make sure it’s known. Jake and Lexie’s families both make several appearances and I absolutely fell in love with each character. I would love a book 2!
