Cam Creates a Hero is a cute, inspiring read geared towards foster youth. Cam expresses himself through art and decides to make a hero robot after seeing the plight of a young girl on television. Cam’s drawings come to life and the message in this book is one that all ages could benefit from. Highly recommend this book that has beautiful illustrations depicting a “realistic” mom, and representative of what a blended family with foster youth can look like.
