Tallie grew up moving with her mom Julia from one third world place to another. After finally finding a place to settle, Julia dies unexpectedly, and for Tallie the surprises just keep coming when she discovers that her mom had a secret life that she was unknowingly a part of.
In the meantime, former journalist-to-know Jackson James gets a tantalizing tip for a story that just may make his star bright again, and winds up running into Tallie’s path.
While both following the clues to reveal their stories, they find themselves intertwined in their searches as their stories both begin to veer towards one another. Will they stay safe as they begin to uncover long kept secrets?
