The Rise of House Valdis (House Valdis Series) by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Hannah Porter

The Rise of House Valdis (House Valdis #1)The Rise of House Valdis by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I first discovered this author while reading the anthology Aliens on Earth which is a limited-edition 12 books romance collection (if you haven’t read it yet I highly Recommend going to check it out. You might find a new favorite author or book Series). After reading that story, I just had to check out more from Naomi Valkyrie. Coming upon this story after seeing the cover (which I thought was cool ) I wanted to dive in and read. Which I’m not disappointed in the least. This book was beautifully written and the world and characters the author built are very well detailed and it’s awesome , it helps build a better picture with in your imagination 🥰 i also love the Multiple POVs. I am totally looking forward to reading more from this new but talented author.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace Series) by Alyndra Quinn – Review by Hannah Porter

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sooo I’m a first time reader of this talented author Alyndra Quinn, but definitely not going to be my last🥰. This story was really well written and caught my interest from the beginning. This story has some intriguing tropes in it. Brother’s Best Friend, Opposites Attract, Off Limits, BDSM I mean what’s not to love 🤣. Don’t even get me started on what level of spiciness this story is. I think the pacing was decent for me. I really can’t wait for the next book so I can see their happily ever after. I also can’t wait to see if the other side characters in the book will get their own 🥰fingers crossed. I will definitely recommend reading this story.

Test of the Four: Book Two of The Serrulata Saga by A.E. Bennett – Review by Hannah Porter

Test of the Four (The Serrulata Saga, #2)Test of the Four by A.E. Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the continuation of the first book Gathering of the Four. Could be read as a standalone but I highly suggest going and reading the first book you won’t regret it. This still follows the Four main characters Leora, Aurora, Leopold, and Roland and their journey learning about what was kept from them. I think Leora might be my favorite but check back with me after the third book 🥰 it was a slower read at times but I think reading to the end was worth it, we definitely get some questions answered. But then we also get left with need to know more answers lol so I can’t wait to see more of this Incredible world. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Gathering of the Four: Book One of The Serrulata Saga by A.E. Bennett – Review by Hannah Porter

Gathering of the Four (The Serrulata Saga, #1)Gathering of the Four by A.E. Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first time I’m reading a work by this author A.E Bennett, and omg it was sooooooo good. Like I’ve only found a handful of post-apocalyptic book series that I really enjoy. Even though it is a post apocalyptic world, it’s more like it’s in the Olden days way back when lol. I liked how we get to see from not one or two POVs but four, it makes things all the more intriguing. It’s hard for me to choose a favorite character just yet🥰 they are all interesting and well built.I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series. On to the second book🥰

Beach Ball Blunder (The Adventures of Cray on the Bay)Beach Ball Blunder by G Pa Rhymes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I Read this story with my little ones today and they really enjoyed it. It kept their interest the whole time and the oldest one 9 even wanted to take over reading, and read to the younger one ❤️(and he’s not a big reader ) so that was really cool. I love when children’s books have a learning undertone to it. I totally agree about lying, it only creates the snowball on the hill effect .Also I love the artwork so much, all the colors go so well with one another, pops off the pages 🥰🥰
I can’t wait to read more from this author G Pa Rhymes

(Titans of Chicago Series) by Anise Storm – Review by Hannah Porter

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago, #1)Deceptively Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Omg! I was super excited to be reading this author again(its always a pleasure😉😉lol). Anise Storm is a fantastic story teller, with amazing characters and crazy good world building. This is the only book of the series so far (sad face sad face) . This book really had me in a choke hold like omg. At times it really felt like the author had my heart In her hands and was squeezing it, really hit me in the feels good and bad. Although Harper and Gabriel had some really spicy scenes together that wasn’t the only reason I loved this book. So well written it had me flipping the pages Faster than I could keep up, with danger, spice, love and heart wrenching trauma that will definitely have you on an emotional roller-coaster. It can be triggering for some readers though so be cautious.
Ps I do highly recommend reading .I cannot wait for more book the this author

Dirty Heartbreaker: Hamilton Steelhawks Book 3Dirty Heartbreaker: Hamilton Steelhawks Book 3 by A C Sheppard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have yet had the pleasure of picking a story by this author, A. C . SHEPPARD. Until now that it is🥰 I usually only read sport romance from time to time, and now is one of those times hahaha. I had to give this book a try (I may have been persuaded by the cover 🤣😍) im super glad i did. This is the 3rd book of the Hamilton SteelhawksHamilton Steelhawks series (can be read as a standalone)and I definitely have to go read the first two. Would love to read more from this world. This one follows Colby and Gabriella’s who are the best man and maid of honor in their friend’s wedding but let’s not forget , they were also a couple before hahaha. So it was perfect when they had to work with each other, making old feelings Reignite old feeling good and bad. The passion between them is almost palpable I truly enjoyed this read and am going the read the first one now 🤣

Fade into the Night (Philly Heat Series) by Becky Flade – Review by Hannah Porter

Fade Into the Night (Philly Heat series, #5)Fade Into the Night by Becky Flade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As this was my first time picking up a story by this author Becky Flade I didn’t know what to expect while reading, but hot dang this author is gifted. Fade into the Night was well written with crazy twists and turns, and . When I tell you I can’t really read thrillers I’m not lying but not for the reason you would think. When reading them I always either know who did it or skip to the end to see what happens 🤣 but not with this book. Well kinda I did want to know but I made myself stop it was so hard because the author had me sooo enthralled that I was on the edge of my sit the WHOLE time omg! It took all my willpower not to skip😭. I love that it was told from different POVs, letting you know what’s going on in their mine. Giving this was the fifth book of the Philly Heat Series. Whoops. I definitely going to go back and start from the beginning and read the rest of the books in the series 🥰

Master Botosoni (Masters of the Consulate Book 9) by Sylvia Black – Review by Hannah Porter

Master Botosoni (Masters of the Consulate #9)Master Botosoni by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mann!! I do love this series and I’m always super excited when I see a new one was released. This could be read as a standalone but let me tell you I highly suggest you going back to read all 8 of the previous books. Sylvia Black definitely has another hit on her hands. This book wass so good from start to finish. I could barely sit it down. I just had to know how it ended. How Botosoni and Catina got their HEA. It’s a fast past read with some steamy bits. It was also real action packed, with the war between them and rogues and shifters. This author is always so well written, with great characters and side characters.i love reading her works.I can not wait til April for the 10th Book 🙌😍
Ps 🤨 21 is getting to old then I must be a crypts keeper 🤣

Curse of the Forbidden Island by C.A. King – Review by Hannah Porter

Curse of Forbidden IslandCurse of Forbidden Island by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Picking up any story by this author C.A king, you will never regret. The Curse of the Forbidden Island is a short but steamy read( about 50 pages). Just like the heroine Selene, I had to know what the mystery curse of the island was, and It leads to a paranormal reverse-harem romance 😉. This will for sure keep your attention from the start til the quick end. This book left me wanting so much more, so I can not wait to see if this was like a prequel to a longer series. I would definitely read it, if the author were to make more in this world 🤞. I also look forward to reading more works from C.A King
Ps I mean if you were down on your luck , would you accept a sketchy job offer at a paradise island lmao
