My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book out of the series , there being five so far. I was super excited to pick this book up. I love all things supernatural. This author’s writing was engaging, and her ability to blend the mundane with the magical made reading this all the better. She created a vivid supernatural world with some amazing and intriguing characters. She also had some twists in the story that I truly didn’t see coming, weaving them in so perfectly. I can not wait to go read the rest of the books of this series.i highly suggest reading this books you can also enjoy the crazy ride

From Darkness into Love (Hope & Hearts from Swan Harbor Book 1) by Sophie Bartow – Review by Hannah Porter

From Darkness into Love (Hope & Hearts from Swan Harbor, #1)From Darkness into Love by Sophie Bartow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Discovering this author and then Discovering that Hope & Hearts from Swan Harbor Series has 15 books in it, was super exciting. This was my first time picking up a book by Sophie Bartow. The cover definitely gives small town vibes🥰. Cameron and Jessie’s story is a small town second chance filled with suspense, romance, twist, drama and a lot of flashbacks. The flashbacks are written in perfectly blending in with the present time. The mystery and twist and turns left me wondering who was behind it.I will 100 percent be going to finish this series and look forward to what else this small town will bring and I also hope we get to see more of these 2 later on.

The Music That Ties Us (Love Ties Us Series) by Nicolette Terry – Review by Hannah Porter

The Music That Ties Us: A Rockstar Romance (Love Ties Us)The Music That Ties Us: A Rockstar Romance by Nicolette Terry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Back again after devouring the first book of this series. I ran to read this one. It’s a longer read than the last one both boy oh boy, it was just as good if not better. This one follows Cadence and Damien and their journey to their HEA. One thing I saw that the author did that I love was that she made a clean version and a spicy one. You know I had to get the spicy one but for the ones that don’t read for the spice then they can get the one without and still enjoy the story as well. I highly suggest that if y’all haven’t read any of this series go read it now lol the author is really talented and her writing transports you into the amazing world she’s built. Even though I don’t read rockstar romances that often, this one book of the series is my favorite so far . I can’t wait for more.

I don’t know why I’m just discovering this author but I sure am glad I did. This is the first book of the Love Ties Us Series. Following Jamie and Blake and their second chance romance. I’ve been reading a lot of second chances romances lately but i think this one takes the cake lol. Like reading this was definitely an emotional roller coaster from happy to teary eyed sad.the author really knows how to pull you in then make you feel the heartbreak alongside the MCs. I devoured this book fast just so I could get to their HEA. I can wait to read the rest of the series.

Unexpected Heroes by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Hannah Porter

Unexpected HeroesUnexpected Heroes by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Not my first, definitely not my last time picking up a story from this brilliant writer Naomi Valkyrie. In this book it’s a M/M second chance romance. Which follows Jude and Elijah’s relationship. This was a super quick read (for me lol) it’s only 100 or so pages. Unexpected Heroes is filled with strong emotion, spice, suspense, danger and with a surprise twist that makes reading the story all the better. This author always has fantastic world building and the author’s character development is top tier. It amazes me just how well written this was in a short amount of time. I’m looking forward to reading more of this author’s work. Ps the Cover is pretty awesome. All the colors contrast (darker to lighter ) well to draw your eyes right to it.

The Predator Part One (The Predator Series) by Brooke May – Review by Hannah Porter

The Predator Part OneThe Predator Part One by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I became a fan of Brooke May’s fabulous writing with her other series. The Long Claw Pride Series ( if you haven’t read it I highly suggest you do) after loving that series I just had to check this one out. It’s a second chance romance that I immediately fell in love with. This is filled with intense emotions, Drama, spice, and chemistry. The author really knows how to write some amazing characters and some not so great characters. That’s you’ll feel some crazy Disdain for lol cough cough Gwen. But that just means the author is doing a great job if she gets you to feel such things. I can’t wait to read more of this series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m discovering this author for the first time. My oldest little one and I read this book together. It took us a couple days because we had to take breaks, but not because we wanted to. Lol we didn’t want to stop. It was such a good read. I personally love Greek mythology so now I can share that with my little one with a fun age appropriate book🥰. We enjoyed this action filled adventure that Tally went on. He said since we started on the fourth book he wanted to go back and read the others and I agree. They will be going into our tbr pile.i highly recommend reading this, especially if you enjoy reading books like Percy Jackson.

The Fallen Man: A Heartwarming Holiday Romance Set in the 1990s (The Olympic Peninsula series Book 5)The Fallen Man: A Heartwarming Holiday Romance Set in the 1990s by Cat Treadgold
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fifth book of The Olympic Peninsula series. Having read the last four book, I was extremely excited for this next installment to be released. I was not surprised in the least that just like the others I loved the book. Still being set in the “ olden days” as my nieces and nephews like to say ( im like it wasn’t even that long ago,Ii was born around then😭 😂” the best time the 90s. Cat Treadgold has yet again built some amazing characters that blend perfectly into the fantastic World she has already developed. It’s a fast pace read that flows, with chemistry, drama, and silence that pop off the pages. I wish I could go back and reread the series for the first time again lol but I will 100 percent put this in my reread pile !I look forward to seeing more work from this author.

Orange forest rabbit is 3 short Mysteries chapter books in one purchase. Which was perfect for us. As always I look forward to reading more books by Lois Wickstrom Ps lol the Littles loved the word sassafras. They thought it was a fun word.

The Handshake Agreement (Book 1) by A. Akinosho – Review by Hannah Porter

The Handshake AgreementThe Handshake Agreement by A. Akinosho
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Having read work by this author before I just had to give this book a try. It has a couple of my favorite tropes in it like an age-gap, second-chance romance. Even though The age gap was on the younger side it was still a great read. Anne and Declan’s story was filled with twists and turns that you’d never see coming and with chemistry,alpha-type male mc drama, and spiciness. After reading this nonstop I was thrilled to see Anne and Declan got their HEA. Akinosho’s writing style is crisp and compelling, drawing readers into the amazing world she had built. I can wait to see more from this series and more from this author 🥰

Irresistible Bond: Central Florida StoriesIrresistible Bond: Central Florida Stories by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Although irresistible Bond is the Fifth book of the Central Florida stories It can be read as a Stand alone but if you’re like me you like to indulge in the author’s world for as long as possible and enjoy reading about the other characters from said world. Believe me I will definitely be going back to read the previous 4 books. This is my first time picking up a book by author Victoria Saccenti and this book has 100% piqued my interest. It’s a fast mfm read that follows Storm, Marcus and Barrington’s relationship. The chemistry in this book between the three of them was almost tangible how good it was. The author did a great job writing the passion between them and their BDSMish scenes. Like I said I will definitely be going back to read more of this world 🥰

Secrets, Lies and Betrayals (Protect and Honor Series) by Lynn Wood – Review by Hannah Porter

Secrets, Lies and Betrayals (Protect and Honor Series #1)Secrets, Lies and Betrayals by Lynn Wood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After seeing the cover my interest was piqued. This is my first time reading this author Lynn Wood. This author’s writing style is fluid and engaging, with vivid descriptions that bring the settings to life and enhance the tension-filled atmosphere. This action-packed thriller definitely keeps you on your toys and keeps you guessing on what’s going to happen next as secrets are unraveled and the characters face moral dilemmas. I Don’t usually partake in reading books with political themes. But I had to give it a try because I mean who doesn’t love a good conspiracy theory lol. I will also definitely be reading the next book in this series. I look forward to reading more from this author!
