When Emma, Jeremy, Dora and Tim receive a mysterious invitation to an all-expenses-paid FIVE WEEK trip to Paris during the 1889 Paris Exposition, what do they do? While Emma is definitely suspicious, they go for it! Who could resist such an opportunity, after all? They’ve had plenty of adventures, so far.
Along the way, everyone is busy with mysteries and drama. The world building, as always, is rich and beautiful. Fashion of the time is easily visualized and appreciated. The characters have continued to grow and blossom throughout the series, and the ways they’re influencing one another is natural and charming. Romance, (multiple) mysteries, adventures and innovation.
