This second chance romance will have you going in circles! From jealousy, insecurities, and tension to sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll, this book has it all! Can Lex give her all to Jordan again? Will Jordan let his choices destroy the future he longs for? The heart wants what the hearts wants. I recommend reading it.

This is a retelling of the classic fairytale of Cinderella. It is a historical romance which remains true to the era it was about. The story as a whole had a Jane Austin feel to it. It was beautifully written. Although short, the characters were well rounded and had depth to them. You feel the unfairness of Melinda’s situation and will jump forward joy when it’s her time to shine. I loved the addition of the Fae element which gave the story a supernatural twist. If you are looking fir a quick read with a happily ever after then I highly recommend this book.
