A Kiss upon a Star (Daydreams & Dragonflies, #1) by Tamara Ferguson – Review by Jana Teppih

A Kiss upon a Star (Daydreams & Dragonflies, #1)A Kiss upon a Star by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Kiss Upon A Star by Tamara Ferguson is the first book in her Daydreams & Dragonflies Sweet Romance series. I have read quite a few of her books so I was very much looking forward to this new series and she did not let me down!
It is a short and sweet story of Tim and Emily who meet for the very first time when Emily is just 10 years old. Emily’s life is all mapped out by her mother already at that young of an age so it sort of seems like where do we go from here? Skipping ahead in time by 8 years and they meet up again and by the end of that surprise encounter, they both know that there is something special between them. They agree to email to each other but obviously, something goes wrong (like in real life …) Skipping ahead another 6 years and we are on a journey to find out if love really finds a way.
A Kiss Upon A Star is a sweet love story and if you have read any of the other Tamara Ferguson’s books then you know what to be prepared for! I loved the humour and resilience and how Emily finally finds her way and how well Tim and Emily complement each other and I was happy to be back in Crystal Rock and … I love the world Tamara has created in Crystal Rock and I have to admit after I had finished this book, I went and read couple of other stories in her Wounded Warrior series that I had missed to read yet.
If you feel a bit low and want to read something that warms your heart and soul, pick up Tamara Ferguson! She will deliver and restore your faith and hope!

A Kiss upon a Star (Daydreams & Dragonflies, #1) by Tamara Ferguson – Review by Jenni Bishop

A Kiss upon a Star (Daydreams & Dragonflies, #1)A Kiss upon a Star by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Kiss Upon A Star (Daydreams & Dragonflies Sweet Romance 1) by Tamara Ferguson is a sweet romance story about two people whose love is strong enough to keep leading them back to each other even if the timing is wrong. Tamara has discovered the right combination for making her romance books stand out from others. Her stories always leave you believing in soulmates and your one and only true love and soul mates.

The story is about Emily and Tim, who first meet when Emily is only ten years old and Tim is thirteen years old. Even at a young age Tim makes sure that Emily is taken care of and is returned home safely. Their second meeting comes eight years later when Tim finds a wet and sad Emily and helps her to rescue a stray puppy from drowning. Tim is still coming to terms with the woman he thought he loved marrying another man and finally deciding what he wants to do with his life. Whilst Emily is dealing with her overbearing mother and being the up and coming singing star. Both realise that the timing for them is wrong and after sharing a few wonderful kisses say goodbye to each other but promising to keep in touch. But do they?

Emily has decided to take control of her life back and that means she needs to break away. Tim is back at home after leaving the military. Will Emily finally learn the truth about Tim? Will Tim finally learn the truth about Emily? Will Tim show Emily just how much they belong together? Will they learn what is important? Will they get their happily ever after? Will Emily be able to finally live the life that she has always wanted?

Dragonfly Pointe has always been a mystical place when it comes to love. If you enjoy a love story where the love between two people is so strong that it is able to stand the test of time then this is one you will not want to miss not only this book but the other books written by Tamara and based upon Dragonfly Pointe
