This is the first book I have read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last.
Meg and Ryan have been neighbors and friends for a long time, some people thought they meant more to each other. But they were opposites in a lot of ways. Meg chattered all the time and Ryan was quite. Meg was about the here and now while Ryan planned everything.
I really enjoyed reading about them and I guess my favorite character in the book was Hank. He was Ryan’s grandfather and since Meg had been around so much he was like her grandfather too.
Check out the story I think you will enjoy and if you have never read this author before, I hope you will give her a try.

This is the second book in The Millers of Marietta. I have not read the first in the series but after reading this one i think i want to go back and do that. Annie runs a B and B and is not looking for a relationship. Craig is visiting town for a wedding and gets enlisted to help Annie with marketing for her B and B. He does not do relationships. The chemistry between Annie and Craig is off the charts yet they both still try to avoid the inevitable. This book was sweet and funny.

Annie was meant to marry Ted but thank goodness she dodged that bullet !
She moves to Montana from Sacramento to live her dream of cooking for people in her B&B and she looses herself in her romance novels … what is not to love about this darling girl !?
Craig O’ Sullivan is in town for the wedding and when he pops by the B&B I really did LOL I’ve a picture mind so I played out that scene a few times and each time I laughed louder 🤣
Our Annie is a little challenged technologically but she catches on quickly and Craig has helped her get her B&B updated , he’s a bit of a marketing guru and soon enough he’s helping the community 🥰
Annie and Craig must be one of the cutest couples of my reading year ! Despite the fact that both are scared of marriage they’re heading to their HEA very quickly 😉😘 I love how Annie talks to herself and gets teased , there she reminds me of myself 🤣
There was a hint of sadness as well with the loss of Annie’s folks and the strained relationship between Craig and his parents but there was redemption which was a gentle reminder of how important it is to communicate and not just assume ❣️

Annie is not looking to settle down. She is over the entire aspect of getting married. Craig doesn’t have any interest in being serious with anyone, ever. But for whatever reason, they have an unquenchable, undeniable attraction to one another. After an agreement to just let the next 2 weeks run their course and then be done. But will 2 weeks really be enough when all they can think about is one another?
This book has it all – the emotions, the turmoil, the “fun” of small town drama, and steamy scenes.

What an amazing book! This was such a great world to get lost in for a while. I instantly fell in love with Annie. She reminded me so much of myself it was almost scary. And then you add in the handsome and very Irish Craig and I was SWOONING. The way he is around Annie is absolutely precious and made me giggle like a little girl. They had some MAJOR chemistry, and I was ALL ABOUT IT. This book DID NOT disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Lifetime movie with a little steam to it. All of the characters are lovable in this story and I love moving to a small town trope. I felt the chemistry between Craig and Annie instantly, things start off with a steamy book and I’m glad there’s more to the story other than “beading nipples.” I liked seeing them work together but I would have liked to see Annie actually working her B&B that she worked so hard for. What I didn’t like was how fast their relationship took off in the end. Yes I did say they had a connection but I don’t feel it was enough for an instant love. The book was a nice, light hearted read and I recommend it to those looking for a sweet, happy ending romance.

A good small town romance This contemporary romance has a bit of everything- drama, emotions, a meddling aunt, a wedding and lots of chemistry. I enjoy the Miller siblings and their banter. This is the second book in The Millers of Marietta series and is Annie and Craig’s story. I am looking forward to the next book. Recommend.

This story was very enjoyable and gave me everything that I love about small town romance. Annie and Craig are perfect together in this story…….romance, past hurts, meddling family members, small town gossip, banter and both Annie and Craig guard their hearts….but when the sizzle between them happens…their walls start to break down.
Craig is back in the town of Copper Mountain…..visiting his Aunt Janice and also with his cousin’s upcoming wedding with a much needed break from his work. Aunt Janice has this idea that while Craig is in town, he can help out Annie with her B & B marketing to help her get more customer reservations….what Craig did not expect was to find love in the process and want to be with Annie.
Annie is a independent owner of her own B & B that she loves, along with her siblings and trying to erase a past ex in her life that left her sour in commitment and marriage. She is content but wants more with her B & B and in order to do that…..help comes along the way in Craig to give her marketing ideas and tips…what Annie did not anticipate was falling for Craig.
Knowing Annie and Craig with their ideas of non-committal temporary relationship while Craig is in town…..will Annie and Craig be able to get past their guarded feelings and past hurts to have a change of heart?
This is a great story and I really enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to checking out more books by this author!

I can’t imagine what the loss of your parents would bring, but impulsive decisions sound probable. Add on the fact that you’re losing your supposed ‘til death partner before you tie the knot and you’ve got a storm of DEEP emotions. Annie moves after her tragic loss and sets up a B&B with little to no thought. I loved every bit of Annie. Her courage, her strength, and her willpower are all so admirable. I enjoyed the seamless flow of the story as we moved through each tragic loss and brave new start. I didn’t realize that I missed the first book, so I’m heading back to pick that up and get more of this author’s writing style. If you love second-chance romances with that tug at your emotions, then this one is definitely for you!

So many people dream of moving to a new town and building their dream life. Annie moves to Montana after her parent’s death and hopes to make her dreams of running a successful bed and breakfast a reality. Janice decides she needs some help getting ready for an event and invites her handsome nephew to town to help with it and works her hand at match maker with Craig and Annie as well as give her a boost to get her business off the ground. This book was an easy read that kept me turning pages quicky. As far as romance novels go, it was the perfect blend of passion and everyday issues.

I was definitely chuckling along with the author as her wonderful main characters Annie and Craig, took us on their path to love. It truly was such a fun read. So much so that I just couldn’t put it down until it was all finished. I have come across this series at book 2 so I will now be going back and reading book 1 for sure, while I not so patiently wait for book 3!! If like me you haven’t read book 1 don’t worry you can absolutely read this book and thoroughly enjoy it but I am betting once you do you’ll want more just like me and you’ll back track too. Oh the absolute sweetness of this love story!! It had the steamy and the sweet all mixed nicely together. Annie is perfect with just the right amount of shyness but still has bold honesty when it comes to her feelings. And Craig has such a big heart and an even bigger soft spot for Annie. Not to mention the character growth for both Craig and Annie. This was the perfect romance to read and I really love the author’s writing style. I am really looking forward to reading more of their books. Especially when the stories have just the right amount of romance in them! You don’t have to read the first book in the series but I know I will be going back and reading it!

Annie has always dreamed of running a Bed and Breakfast. She has fixed the place up but is not getting the customers she needs. When her friend, and future family by marriage, offers Craig to help with her marketing, Annie is quick to turn down his services. She can’t afford him and her hormones won’t let her concentrate when he’s around. Craig is attracted to Annie…but he is in town to help out her business since he is not a relationship kind of guy. But, when these two can’t keep their hands off of each other, he comes up with a plan that they could both benefit from. What he doesn’t expect is are feelings, and the town’s gossip mill, to get involved. These two characters were enjoyable. It was comical the way Annie would get get flustered and Craig would know just what to say. Both of their pasts have shaped their feelings on future relationships and have closed them off to that happily-ever-after ending. However, the heart wants what it wants and it’s a battle that these two are trying hard to fight (even if it means getting in their own way time and time again). I also enjoyed the secondary characters. Annie’s brother sure needs his own book and happy ending!

Annie Miller and her siblings set out on a new adventure. Annie has found the perfect place for her B&B. Her next goal is to get her B&B up and running. Craig has come to Montana to see his cousin get married. So while on vacation he needs to find something to do. Two very different people, one bound to Marietta and one lives in Portland. This is a small town romance that had me within the first couple of pages. The story is romantic, funny and unexpected. The author may be new to me, but now she is not. I will be looking for more as this story captures my heart. Even if it did mess with my emotions. It was well worth the time and money spent on this book. This is a must read for those romantic readers.

Annie Miller has had tragedy in her life, losing both your parents is a trauma but when you lose them together in the same accident you become lost but knowing she had to look after her brother and sister they decided to make a break and move to a town which held both good memories and a new start for the family.
Marietta was the place that her parents had taken them on holidays and the right place to make a new life, buying the B and B and making it home was all Annie was thinking about. Her sister was getting married in a few weeks and all the arrangements were getting sorted, but Annie worried about the business, she had a few bookings but nothing to make it a living which she needed to do. Although Janie has suggested her godson a big marketing man from Portland, Annie had reservations about working with the handsome man from the big city.
Craig O’Sullivan is becoming disillusioned working for a big firm, with the new contract they have just won meant that a smaller marketing company folded and that does not sit right with him, so when his Aunty Janice calls saying she needs help with his cousin’s wedding plans he sees this as an opportunity to escape the race for a bit and unwind. When he arrives to the small town of Marietta, he is pushed into helping Annie with her marketing strategy for the B and B but once he meets her the sparks fly and he can’t get her out of his head.
They decide to see where these sparks go but can they both agree on the short-term fun or when its time to say goodbye can they or are there hearts too invested in each other.
I loved this story; it was fully of swoon moments and just a good romance from start to finish. This is the first book I read by this author and loved the storytelling that flowed from the page. The character of Annie was lovely and although her confidence had been hit with a shovel by her ex-partner, I loved the willingness in the end to take a chance and go for what she wanted. Craig’s character was a perfect accompany to Annie and although he seemed confident and sure on the outside there was the doubt in him that he would be hurt and abandoned just like his parents had done all those years ago and that giving your heart always meant heartbreak.
The secondary characters were brilliant and enhanced the story and showed the families merging as one, please tell me that Riley and Mitch get together in the end as that chemistry was also jumping off the page and deserves a book of there own lol. Thank you for letting me invade and feel that these people could be my friends to.

Annie is a chef working on her dreams. She moved to Marietta and bought the perfect bed and breakfast place, now the problem is, there are no guests in sight. This may have something to do due to the lack of proper marketing, and so she happens to know the perfect man for the job.
Craig is a hotshot from Portland with a great marketing job, he does not require love from a woman, since he can get plenty of attraction from his multiple dates, oh but for how long could that work out? He will find out how romance can change the way of his life forever.
Romantic and delicious, this book will take you to a mountain voyage in an afternoon.

Annie Miller is hoping her bed and breakfast in Bramble Lane, Montana picks up and she knows one person who could help but he is much to of a big wig, not to mention handsome to ask. When Craig arrives two weeks early for his brother’s wedding he finds Annie just as alluring as she was the last time. Getting her to accept his help is harder then he thought, but he has ideas and the two agree to explore the chemistry between them the only condition though is not to expect more then a fun few weeks. What happens though when feelings get involved for them when they both don’t believe in happily ever afters?
Great chemistry, both Annie and Craig want more but are so closed off on not getting hurt that they are unwilling to risk it. It takes those wonderful characters surrounding them to open their eyes to what could be. I thought this was really entertaining and will go back to read the first book.

After a failed engagement, Annie moves to Montana and opens a B&B. The problem is that she doesn’t have any customers. When her sister suggests she ask for help from Craig, Annie flat out refuses. She is highly attracted to him and gets all flustered when he is around. When Craig convinces her to let him help, he also suggests they date for the two weeks he is in town. Opinion This shot book packs a punch. It is the second in the Millers of Marietta series but the first that I have read. With quite a few places where Winckler had me laughing out loud, there was an equal amount of swooning scenes. This book is a great read for any romance reader.

What a great story about Craig and Annie. And we get to see Vivian and Aiden from book 1 (not needed to read this one but you’ll want to anyways)
These 2 fought against their feelings every step of the way until the very end. I loved that Annie was passionate about what she was doing and wanting to do it all on her own but knew she needed a little help with marketing.
I loved that these characters felt real and down to earth and not overly done. I could feel the small town vibe and the love for one another between the families and friends. Can’t wait for the next one!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and although it is the second book in this series I read it perfectly well as a standalone however it did leave me with some questions about the first book so I’ll definitely be reading that and would recommend the books are read in order. I really enjoyed the story, it was easy to read and I was engaged all the way through. The characters were likeable and well thought out. I liked Annie and loved her determination to make her new venture work and find time to heal from everything that has happened to her. Craig was a really nice character and I loved that he wanted to help Annie so much, they had a great amount of chemistry which was real and genuine.

I absolutely LOVED this story. It is the sweetest small town romance. I love the town and the description of each of the residents. Especially the small town busybody who really kept me laughing throughout the story. She is such a small part but the parts that she was brought up really just made me laugh. I loved Annie as a character and watching her develop was absolutely amazing, her relationship with her siblings really was something that I loved. I loved how Mitch is with his sisters as well. Watching her overcome the trauma she has from her ex was really a character arc that was so relatable. Craig is an amazing character who had the most development and growth throughout the story. I absolutely loved their development as a couple. I highly recommend this book and this series. The author creates a wonderful small town world that makes me consider moving to Montana to find this small town life.

When Annie moves to Montana after the death of her parents and opens a Bed and Breakfast she tries everything to bring in guests but its just not happening for her. Annie’s brother and sister are currently living with her at the B&B but once they move out Annie needs to figure out how she won’t lose the business. Along comes Craig O’Sullivan a marketing agent on “vacation” while his cousin is getting married. Will the stars collide?!? A can’t put down romance novel (steamy*)!
