This book would make a great end-of-the-year gift for a teacher. It would also be a great book to read to a youngster about to start school. Teachers, for the most part, are really super great people! This book highlights some of the features of teachers to show their “human” side outside of the classroom.

The illustrations are very well done in this book as well!

I really thought that this was such a sweet book. The author really has written a easy to read book for kids. This book brings a good lesson for kids to know. The author does a good job of showing every side a teacher can be and gives just a little perspective into what and how a teacher ticks. I really like that this is a very simple book as it will help children to get confidence in reading and also show how teachers can be. I would recommend this book to anyone with small children.

Easy, fun and sweet book dedicated to all kinds of teachers…regardless if they are young or old…teachers may all be different but truly there is one similarity….They all have a “Very Big Heart”.

I love that a young reader can see from the wonderful illustrations and words that teachers are truly awesome and want what is best for them to learn and grow.

This is such a sweet and heartwarming story, designed to teach children that every one is different. Using teachers as a focal point I think this book does a fantastic job at celebrating differences in a way that is engaging and fun for children to read. The illustrations in the book really add life to the story and make it so much easier for the intended audience to enjoy it.
This would be a great book to introduce to a child just before they start school as it would make them feel easier about the unfamiliar. This is a brilliant book that was a pleasure to read.

A sweet read about all the things that make teachers special. This is a beautiful compilation of teachers’ feelings for their students and a reminder that teachers vary just as much as their students do! The pictures are vibrant and bring the pages to life! My kids loved reading this book. It is great for littles who may be apprehensive about school or a reminder to those nervous about returning. A beautiful story!

All teacher’s teach from their heart – no matter what. This is a cute children’s book about teachers. Being an educator, this book spoke to me. It is so correct to say that all teachers are different, but they all have one thing in common – they teach from their heart. I liked the illustrations in this book. The story is an easy read aloud- it has good rhythm and a catchy cadence.

A Teacher’s Heart is a sweet story of how all teachers are different. Melissa Lavi describes how teachers can be different in appearances, teaching styles, personalities, and gender. The best thing about the teachers though is how teachers all love real big because they have big hearts. I think this story will teach kids a lot about teachers and going into school. That it isn’t scary and they are safe. That teachers will love them.

Delightful
This cute picture story book would make a beautiful present to the teacher in your life. It shows that all teachers are different and have different approaches but at the core it comes from the heart. The illustrations are bright and colourful and the writing easy to follow. A really nice acknowledgment of a profession that wears their heart on their sleeve. Highly recommend.

Melissa Lavi is in a job she loves as a Preschool Teacher, and it is through this that she has written children’s picture books. One being A Teacher’s Heart. It is a sweet story that young ones will enjoy. Can you imagine if we were all the same. What a world that would be. Melissa shows just how diverse people can be and in particular teachers.
It is a short story that is told through wonderful prose and illustrations. A sweet tale of teachers their hopes, their wishes and their dreams for the children they dedicate their lives to help. A passion to help shape them, help them grow and learn.
I like the messages within and that we get to share these with our children and/or grandchildren or those that we love. These books are geared for kids, but I am in my sixties, and I enjoyed it. It is nice to sit with them and watch as the gears turn, and their imaginations run wild.
Melissa has done a great job.

A Teacher’s Heart is a cute children’s book that children of any age can enjoy. The illustrations are bright and colorful and brings the story to life. Teacher’s Heart shows us that they come in many different ways, some are tall while others may be short. Some are strong and others weak. But at the end of the day A Teacher’s Heart is do BIG! I loved everything about this book and my five year old son did to. We must love everyone regardless of who they are or what they look like. We are all equals. I highly recommend this book and we look forward to reading more from this Author as this was our first time.

Classroom teacher here. Really cute and informative (mainly through the fantastic illustrations!) book about how teachers come in all shapes and sizes. Looking forward to a follow up with students and how diverse they are. Also, a great introduction to adjectives a young child may or may not know. I also enjoyed the vary vibrant colors throughout the book, as well as the not-lengthy text to keep youngsters engaged.

A Teacher’s Heart was a cute book. The author tells the readers that teachers can be many things from different appearances, different personalities, or even different teaching styles. However, no matter what the difference is they all have one thing in common – really BIG hearts! The story is meant for beginner readers. It would be a great story to read before your child goes into preschool or kindergarten. I think kids would like the illustrations – they are bright and funny. It may put new learners at ease to think no matter what, your teacher will teach you, care for you, love you, and make sure you are on a path to success!!
