The Curse of a Faeblood by MK Lorber – Review by Abbey Cleman

The Curse of a FaebloodThe Curse of a Faeblood by M.K. Lorber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I truly love books that build all of the characters not just one or the main one. This book kept me on my toes the whole time never knowing what I was going to get. Amazing character building and made me feel like I was there. And I like that it seems more hysterical than not. Great job to the author.

The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy Book 1) by Rowan Rossler – Review by Abbey Cleman

The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy, #1)The Cruiser by Rowan Rossler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Cruiser is one of few books that leaves me wanting so much more. Wanting to know what happened after the last page was read. I personally think most romance novels end pretty similar. But this one actually had me questioning all of the way and wanting to know more. I love strong characters and strong female characters I can relate to. And I can do that here. I also love the fact that the main female character is feisty. Has sass. And one of my favorite things about this book is the character development and the fact that it’s not one sided. You see the point of view (for the most part) from both Morgan and Vandana. I cannot wait for book two in hopes that it has more about this pair.

Finding Melodie and The Wedding Special Boxset by Laura Rossi – Review by Abbey Cleman

Melodie Boxset (Melodie #1-2)Melodie Boxset by Laura Rossi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was a cute fun read that shows opposites do attract and sometimes it does mean you do get the person you want even if it’s not how it starts out. And even with struggles it’s how you make them.

And when there are multiple books and I can get them all at once it’s so much better.

(UN)Loved (Mixed Emotions Series) by Katy Hunter – Review by Abbey Cleman

(Un)Loved (Mixed Emotions, #1)(Un)Loved by Katy Hunter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is easy to read. Not too much erotica but enough to keep it spicy. And enjoyable. I love books with animals in it especially ones like Tornado.

I feel like this book is relatable as well to people who have just relationship issues. Mainly the commitmentphobe type. It is definitely worth the read if you want a quick light read.

The Billionaire’s Slave by Stacy-Deanne – Review by Abbey Cleman

The Billionaire's Slave by Stacy-DeanneThe Billionaire’s Slave by Stacy-Deanne by Stacy-Deanne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I fell in love with this book at about 1/3 of the way through. At first it seemed slow and uninteresting. However, once I got into it and was able to look past some of my personal preferences and put myself back in that timeframe I was able to finish it in a day. The way that Leon and Penny instantly knew that they were meant to be and how he was so protective of her. With the twists that come along and are seen by Leon but Penny isn’t able to see until after the fact. I read it with an open mind and remembered that there was a time that the slavery and so on was allowed to happen. I am not saying it’s right but it’s the way it was at one point and how they were willing to do whatever needed to be done just to be together. Just kept me hooked when I needed to get out of my own head.

Midnight Masquerade (The Brightly Sisters Book 1) by Halley Larkin, Review By Abbey Cleman

Midnight Masquerade (The Brightley Sisters #1)Midnight Masquerade by Halley Larkin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For a young woman in the historical London and her sisters who are on the brink of losing their family home when the oldest who is responsible for the younger ones meets a random man at her masquerade fundraiser that she starts with a dance.

This book has twists and turns from the start and I don’t want to give too much away but it is amazing and worth the read especially if historical romances are what you enjoy.

Wildcat: A Steamy Firefighter Romance by Carina Alyce – Review by Abbey Cleman

Wildcat (MetroGen After Hours, #1)Wildcat by Carina Alyce
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wildcat by Carina Alyce was the first book I had read from her. I enjoyed the book thoroughly as it was a quick read and very steamy. I enjoy books that I learn from and in Wildcat where the main female character is a firefighter and the main male character is a pro Football player I learned different aspects in both fields that I had never known or thought of.

It did catch me off guard at first and took a couple of chapters to be able to follow the story-line. However, once I was able to figure out what was happening it was very much an enjoyable read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a steamy, quick read.
