This is not my usual kind of book at all, but there’s definitely a lot of passion and drama. The characters were a bit difficult to relate to and it’s a bit slow at the beginning. The writing is good and flows naturally so it’s a pretty easy read. I’d recommend reading these books in order.

We are first introduced to Ava in the first book in this series…and her story is definitely one that should be read. Ava’s friendship with her two best guy friends has been transforming into something more for years. After a night filled with liquid courage, Ava gets to live out her fantasy with her guys. The aftermath, however, is heartbreaking and eye-opening. Hunter takes off, leaving Ava and Thomas behind to mend what’s left of their broken hearts. When Hunter comes back, years later, to make things right between the three of them…is it too little too late? And what happens when their insecurities from their first encounter threaten to end things before they can really get going again? (Hint: You have to read it to find out!) This is a beautifully written story that is realistic and super hot! I mean put your kindle down and look around to make sure no one else can see the sexiness on your screen! I found myself immersed in Ava’s story and am left wanting more of her and her guys. Can’t wait to see what is next for this series!

Accepted: Rhodes Family book 2, by Lisa Wood is a MMF book. I loved reading this book as once I started, I was hooked and could not put it down. This story was addicting to read, and it put you on an emotional rollercoaster as you turned the pages. Ava, Thomas, and Hunter were lifelong best friends until they fell apart. When Hunter tries to rekindle and fix it will they be able to? Or will what happened in the past have a hold on their future? I highly recommend and I cannot wait to see what comes next in this series.

Accepted is rated for 18+. Lisa knows what to do to keep anyone’s attention. This was a phenomenal read and I hope there’s more. If you don’t like MM then this isn’t for you.
Ava, Gabe’s sister, is in love with the two of her best friends. One night leads to seven years of misery, hurt, and loss. When Ava comes home from work one night to see that Hunter had left something. The quote I chose for Ava: “Hunter, that night we shared was seven weeks ago. When you went for breakfast, you were mugged. You were left to die in an alley, shot and beaten, with no way to identify you. The reason I’m thirty pounds lighter is because I spiraled down after you left, stopped working and holed up in my house. I didn’t answer my phone, I didn’t answer my door, I hardly ate. Gabe got me out of the house the day he found you by kicking in my door, throwing me naked in a cold shower and yelling at me.”
Thomas is one of Ava’s best friends and lovers. Things hadn’t been good for several years due to one night that changed everything. He is yearning for his friends and lovers. The quote I chose for Thomas is: “At the beginning I tried my best to give you the benefit of the doubt but at the three-week mark, you were still incommunicado, Ava had written me off and I was as low as I’ve ever been. I quit the firm without notice and moved to a firm Kevin recommended for me. I can’t tell you how much guilt we both feel about you laying in a hospital bed while we assumed the worst of you. I think I can speak for both of us telling you that we don’t expect your forgiveness. We let you down.”
Hunter is the one who messed everything up by walking out the next morning. Things were tough for him at home and his head wasn’t straight. He didn’t understand what was happening, but he fixed it. Until a mugging goes bad that is. The quote I chose for Hunter is: “That right there is why there’s no forgiveness to ask for. All the three of us need to do is prioritize and love each other. I can’t ask for more than that. I love you both , forever and always.”

I loved this book. It is the second book in the Rhodes Family Series and follows the story of the sister Ava. I loved reading this book. The characters are so well written and likeable.
We meet Ava, Thomas and Hunter in the first story but we don’t get to know much about their story until now.
Ava, Thomas and Hunter have been friends for years, completely inseperable. Little did they realise that their friendship was turning into love.
One night after a few drinks they took their friendship one step further. While Ava and Thomas thought this could be the start of something new and they could all be together, Hunter fled causing heartbreak to them all.
7 years later Hunter wants to repair the damage that he caused and see if he can rebuild what he destroyed all those years ago.
Can Ava and Thomas forgive him for the past? Can a three way relationship work? And is it acceptable to love and be in a relationship with 2 people?

Accepted: Rhodes Family Book 2 by Lisa Wood is a MMF story, a complicated ménage a trois. You should read book one Shattered before you read Accepted, to understand what is happening in this story. I will admit that I was frustrated and annoyed with the characters at times and wanted to give them a swift kick up the a…… There are lots of emotions where hearts are broken, and forgiveness is not so easy to give. Can they see past their hurt and anger and let love set them free?

Accepted by Lisa Wood is book two of the Rhodes Family series. This book should be read after book one. Due to some content, this book is recommended for readers 18+.
Thomas, Hunter and Ava have been friends for as long as they can remember. When you love both of your best friends, what can you do about it? That’s the position Ava finds herself in. Finally, Ava gets what she’s fantasized about but then everything changes between the three of them. Will they be able to fix the friendship they once had? Will the love Ava has for both Thomas and Hunter bring them back together?
This was a good read! I don’t often read books of the MMF/MM genre but I’m glad I read this one!

This book was about Ava, Thomas and Hunter. I really enjoy it when the timelines in the series are explained, this story is a parallel time line to Gabe and Olivia.
I really don’t know where to start. Ms. Wood started it off hot and it never really cooled down. Well there were a few parts but wow, there were some incredibly hot moments.
I love the interaction between the Rhodes siblings and how close they are with their parents. I can’t wait to read the next siblings story. Please let it be Liam!

Oh My God! I’m Really hoping there is going to be more books to this series. I seriously need more! This is a hot and steamy Romance that has some pretty steamy scenes. Ava, Hunter , and Thomas have been through a lot together. They have known each other since like kindergarten . I don’t want to give anything away so im just going to be very blunt. You need to read this book to find out what happens next. There is a lot of moments my heart hurt for them. There is a couple of twists I didn’t see coming. Oh and if you haven’t already read the first I highly recommend reading it first. I look forward to reading more from this Author and hopefully this series.

When you have loved only two men in your life and they both happen to be your best friends, can a friendship survive?
Ava is from the infamous Rhodes family and although she has everything the thing she requires the most is love, while at college she finally gets her fantasy with her best friends with a night of pure passion but by morning everything changes.
After that fateful night Hunter has been trying to fight the demons from his past with trying to move forward. After working with Ava and Thomas for years he now has to ask for forgiveness or will there relationship be lost forever.
Thomas has always struggled with understanding what happened that night, what caused Hunter to run for the hills and because of that his relationship with Ava had fizzled out over the years, but when a letter and a box of letters appears on his doorstep can he find it in his heart to forgive and forget and get back the only people he has ever truly loved.
The first book in this series was brilliant but I think I loved this book more, Ava is such a great strong character within the first book you know there must be a story behind her coldness. The three of them together have great chemistry and although the story in arced with Shattered the first book it does not loss its own flow for their story.
I can’t wait to read the other books in this series and with there being other siblings that are just as interesting in Ava and Gabe I can’t wait.

I will immediately start by saying for me I’m not sure I would have connected to the story without having first read the previous book in the series. That said, this book was an easy read. The storyline in general was very emotional, maybe more than I anticipated. You anticipate explicit scenes to be part of this book just from the synopsis. However, that aside, the emotional struggle was what really connected. A quick and easy read that definitely was set up to continue in a third book.

I was anxious to read the story as we saw just a little bit of these characters in Gabe’s book. Sadly, I really struggled with the connection between these three characters. It was hard to *feel* that they really felt anything for each other besides sexual attraction. I wish maybe we could’ve had some snippets of them growing up together so you could see that they had more than just a sexual connection with each other.
The story definitely got better once we were past the second half. There was some action going on and other stuff happening which was nice to read. Sorry people, but I just got tired of any time that two or three of these characters were in a space together it immediately went to sex every single time. More character building would make this a more palatable book in my opinion. The author did a good job with Hunters character and his issues.
This is a great family and I did enjoy Gabe’s book. I can easily feel the affection that the family has with each other. The remaining siblings could be great books in the future. I look forward to reading more about this Rhodes family.

This book is one steamy and emotional read! I was so ready for book two of the Rhodes Family series from Lisa Wood as soon as I finished Shattered, book one. I personally would recommend that you read the first book before jumping into this one because it really sets you up and gives you the background of these amazing characters. The emotional side of this read really tugs at the heartstrings as you wait in anticipation for the next steamy scene, and this book has plenty of those to keep the reader fanning themselves most of the time. I love how it is written in a way that is believable and not overstretched or exaggerated, something I struggle with when reading about throuples because I personally live in one myself. You can tell the author has respect for the lifestyle and that makes a huge difference for me as a reader. I cannot wait to see what will come next for the Rhodes family, I am sure it will be one I cannot put down either!

Accepted by Lisa Wood is the 2nd book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. This is definitely a book for the 18+ age group due to the adult content. The author request this series should be read in order to get the best enjoyment from it. One thing I have to say about this series is that if you read book 1 ‘Shattered’ it contains many spoilers for what happens in Accepted. In fact the outcome of Accepted is given away but this didn’t stop me from reading Accepted as I was so intrigued as to how that outcome came about and after reading the prologue to this book, I was even more intrigued as to how this ending happened. In Accepted we get the story of Ava, sister of Gabriel from the first book. Ava is also a lawyer and senior partner in the family law firm and she knows what she wants but there are just somethings she’s not sure of how to get that. That being, her friendship back with Thomas and Hunter who were her best friends for a very long time. An event several years previously had broken up this very tight knit friendship and now Hunter has decided it’s time to get his best friends back. Is it too late so salvage what they had before? Can they all forgive each other and move forward? I loved this story and was hooked from the very beginning. I couldn’t help but root for Hunter and his quest to put to rights all that had gone before and get this trio back to the way they used to be and move forward. I look forward to reading more about the Rhodes family siblings.

This book was so good and I loved the characters. For a minute there I was like no way, not again!!! Only to find out it was quite the opposite. I love the character of Ava! Thomas, Hunter and Olivia have been friends for years, since their early school years in fact, but one night seven years ago, well, too much tequila and not enough talking led to something only one of them regretted and that night tore them apart.
In the present, Hunter wants to make amends, he wants nothing more than to have his two best friends back, they are all senior partners in Ava’s father’s law firm, but for seven years, they have only spoken in a professional capacity and even then, nowhere near as much as they used to. He misses them and what they shared all those long years ago and so he writes a letter to each and prays that they can forgive him for what he did and what he plans to do if they can’t.
In each letter he explains that the box attached is an explanation as to why what happened happened, what his life has been like since and how much he regrets the situation. He delivers the boxes to Thomas and Ava and waits to see what will happen next.
How will Thomas and Ava react to the packages and letters which Hunter has written and what will the two of them think? What will the future hold for them all?

Accepted is the second book in the Rhodes Family series by Lisa Wood. It is a MMF story, with plenty of drama, angst and spice. It is a very quick and easy read- but as I mentioned at the end of Book One, there was a pretty big spoiler for this book detailed in Book One- so I was a little miffed by that even before I began this book. I did settle into the story- but not enough to fully connect with the characters like I was hoping to. The relationship between the three was intense- and there were several emotional discoveries/details as well. But the characters really frustrated me at times- I really just wanted to shake them. With a few more siblings left in the Rhodes family, I wonder who will be the subject of Book Three?

This book was a brilliant addition to the series and easily my favourite out of the 2. I loved the characters and the connection they had between them all. It felt so real right from the moment you started reading about them. I thought the author did a great job of building this story up. This is a MMF/MM/MF. Ava, Thomas and Hunter were destined for a life together. Then in college something happened to tear them apart. Will they be able to build a life again or will that not be an option for these 3? This was a great book and just as I’ve expected from Lisa the characters were well written with such depth it’s like they were people in your life.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Accepted after reading the first book in the Rhodes Family series. But I will say it is better if you read Shattered before you read Accepted, so you know and understand some of the other moments going on in the storylines.
After reading Shattered I just had to know the deal between Hunter, Ava, and Thomas. My heart broke for Hunter more times then I could even imagine, All the things Hunter had to go through just to get to where he was ready to ask for forgiveness from Ava and Thomas. Oh, and the sexiness was turned up a notch between this Throuple.
We did get a little glimpse at another Rhodes brother; I would love to know his story. Crossing my fingers for Lisa Wood to write another book in this series. Overall, a great book with addictive characters.

The second book in the Rhodes Family series is my favorite of the two so far. I love a good menage, and this story was sweet, sexy and dramatic. I really felt for Ava when Hunter up and left her and Thomas so many years ago, and my heart ached for Hunter when learning how he was treated by his dad and how his head got all messed up because of him. It was really sweet the way Hunter tried his best to get back into Thomas and Ava’s good graces with the many letters he sent them over the years. I did get slightly annoyed with Ava, when her and Thomas and Hunter had a “little” misunderstanding she completely blows off Thomas like him alone isn’t good enough and that made her just look terrible to me. I understand she was crushed, thinking that Hunter was hurting her all over again like he did before, but there were circumstances that prevented him from reaching out and a whole lot of nice dramatics in between then and when they finally are together again. There was a lot of heartbreak in this book, but also so much love between the three main characters and so much that just needed to be aired out and spoken out loud. Communication is key. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

I enjoyed being pulled into this story right from the beginning. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they brought the story to life for me. They are strong, supportive characters that made the story easy to read. One experience changed the destiny of three friends, Hunter, Ava and Thomas. Years later Hunter shows back up to fix things. But is the fix really going to be that easy for them? How will their destiny be affected this time around? This is where the story really picks up and I had a hard time putting it down. This made a great afternoon read for me. I highly recommend this book.

Years later is there a chance for them to put the past behind them and look forward to the future? Will they get a HEA? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I believed that Thomas, Hunter, and Ava belonged together. I wanted them to find happiness. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. There are additional characters that make an appearance in the story and I enjoyed reading about them as well. This is a book that has steamy romantic scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that will tug at your heart. I highly recommend reading it. This is the second book in a series that is best read in order.

Thomas, Hunter and Ava were destined from the beginning, until they weren’t. An experience in college tore these lifelong friends apart.
Years later, Hunter is looking to make amends. The question is, can Ava and Thomas move beyond the past to find their future? What will happen if violence threatens to destroy them?
This the second in the Rhodes family series. Books should be read in order.
This is a MMF/MM/MF HEA story with no cliffhangers.
Due to explicit language and content, this book is for readers 18+.
Lisa Wood was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Although she has been writing in one form or fashion for 35 years, she has only recently decided to publish. She writes romance novellas, specifically, erotica, because the perfect man has to exist somewhere! Some of her books also have a BDSM element – Don’t worry, they’re all labelled as such. When she’s not writing eroticas, she’s reading them! She has two kids, both grown, and a granddaughter.
