This is another great read by Renee. Cursed Whispers is about my favorite Broderick brother, Max. Each of the Broderick Coven Series can be read as a standalone.
Max can talk to animals. Yeah, you’re probably thinking it’s because he’s a get. But he can literally talk to animals. When he goes to his sister’s baby shower he gets a feeling. The feeling led him to his mate. The quote I chose for Max is: “When I heard your cry of pain, I decided right then to do everything I could for you. Learning you’re a werewolf hasn’t changed a thing. I can tell you don’t trust easily and probably for a good reason. Please trust me—us—when we say we will fight alongside you.”
Claudia is a werewolf. You know the kind that can phase between wolf form and human. She was taken, abused, and raped. Bringing along her daughter when she escapes. Now she has lost her daughter and needs Max’s help to find her. The quote I chose for Claudia is: “I, Claudia Lupita, mother of Katia, pledge my allegiance to the Alumbra pack. I swear to protect Peter Rawly and my fellow packmates from any and all who wish them harm.”

Max Broderick is one of seven children and they are all witches, but they only found out a year ago, they each have a different magical gift and Max’s happens to be the ability to talk to animals, with a little bit of emotion triggered telekinesis thrown in for good measure. On this particular day, he is heading to his sisters house for her baby shower with one of his other brothers, he thinks he hears something coming from the woods, however puts it out of his mind and goes into the house and see his sister, but as soon as he does, he feels a pull to go out onto her patio hears a whimper of pain and sets off running in it’s direction. As he searches the woods for the animal in need, he doesn’t even contemplate whether his brother is following him because the pull he is feeling is too strong to ignore and when he finds the injured wolf which is in such a desperate condition he immediately talks to it and tries to reassure it that it is safe and in good hands, btu when he picks it up and it passes out, he realises just how bad its condition is.
As the wolf is drifting in and out of consciousness, she hears smatterings of conversations in the background but cannot focus long enough to understand their meaning and as soon as she surfaces, she is dragged back down into the darkness of memories and regrets. When she next wakes up she feels the presence of a pack alpha and is terrified of him, but the other voices around her realise this and tell him off, it is then that she realises that the door to the cage she is in is open and considers running, however, the kind voice nearby tells her it would be no use in the condition she is currently in, but that she is also free to leave whenever she wants to. She responds to his questions as best she can and introduces herself as Claudia Lupita, but she is overtaken by the need to shift and the excruciating pain which this causes makes unusual things happen in the room although she doesn’t understand why yet. Meanwhile Max is taken aback by the sudden and fierce need to protect this werewolf and loses control of his telekinesis when his brother tries to approach Claudia to heal her now she is back in her human form and as he apologises for throwing them around the room and allows him near to her to help heal her, all the while feeling her pain within him and not comprehending why.
After the others leave the surgery Max tries to engage with Claudia while giving her space and time to adjust to the new environment around her all the while constantly reassuring her that she is safe with him. Claudia decides to use the facility shower to clean up a bit and rests while she can after eating while thinking about the hell she has escaped and the things she still needs to do and when Max’s sister comes back the next morning with supplies and a kitten who chooses to be called Stormy, Claudia starts to talk about how she arrived there and who is still in the woods waiting for her. It is at this point that a Broderick family meeting is called so that Claudia doesn’t have to repeat what she has to tell them more than once and when she explains the abusive pack she escaped from with her daughter they all decide there and then that they will do everything they can to find her daughter and then help her get revenge on the pack which she escaped from.
Claudia is overwhelmed with the offer of help from the most unlikely of allies, another werewolf pack and a coven of witches and guardedly accepts their help, but her feelings towards Max are confusing her as much as they are confusing him, when they are told that they are fated mates, but will Max be able to help Claudia to overcome the events of her past, or is she too damaged to acknowledge her mate and all that it entails? Will they be able to work together to find Claudia’s daughter and the pack she escaped from and what will happen if they do? This is a romance filled with family, friends, love and some despair which will drag you along on the journey within its pages to the final destination and the highs and lows which go along with it.

This is book 3 in the Broderick Coven series and I loved this as much as the first 2.
In this book we follow Max. Max is a witch in the Broderick coven and his gift is being able to hear and talk to animals. At his sisters babyshower he feels the pull of an animal in danger and pain so he goes to investigate. Little does he know it will change his life forever.
The animal is finds isn’t just an animal. Its a were shifter called Claudia. Claudia has escaped an abusive prison but has been left injured and scared. Max takes care of her and they soon realise their feelings are more than just an attraction.
However with danger looking for Claudia, a missing daughter to find and Claudia learning to trust men again can they succeed and build on their connection? How far would Max be prepared to go to protect Claudia and her daughter?

Supernatural books are like a second home to me. It is a world I love reading about, exploring and reliving over and over again. So finding this book, I had really high hopes and I wasn’t disappointed. For me, this book is more than just about two different supernatural beings coming together. It is also a struggle about rebuilding and self discovery after a traumatic event. Sad as that part is in the book it felt needed. For this isn’t just a love story but more. Reading what the character went through.. it really added that extra element in not only grabbing your attention but watching some serious character growth. Over all, I really loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven Book 3) by AJ Renee was a great read! Be warned though, while this is a paranormal (and obvious fiction) book, there are some scenes and content that could be triggering for other. This book is an emotional read, and it made me laugh, cry, and hang off the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. I thought the second book in this series was great but this one I think was even better. I can’t wait to read the installment and see what happens to the Broderick coven next!

Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven Book 3) by AJ Renee is a paranormal romance story. As with the other books in this series it is captivating and engaging. AJ is the consummate paranormal storyteller and I have not read one of her books that I have not been ensnared by. AJ’s world building and writing style makes it easy to get lost in the story. With shifters and witches, magic and mystery and fated mates this is a story that will keep you engrossed.

Wow! I am not typically a fan of paranormal stories but this book had me hooked from the start. I did not read the first two books in the series but after falling in love with Max and Claudia I will be revisiting the first two books. Watching Max and Claudia’s relationship, which is not a “normal” pairing, no pun intended but truly magical. Witches, werewolves, magic and love, this book will definitely have you hooked until the end.

This book and series has been addictive to say the least. I really enjoy the author’s writing style and the way the story is woven together. Just the right balance of paranormal greatness, suspense, and romantic chemistry. A hard book to walk away from, I had to finish it in one sitting. Loved it.

Cursed whispers is a really good book about witches and werewolves. This is the 1st book i’ve read in the series but I didn’t feel lost because it filled in the background pretty well. I will definitely have to go back and read the 1st two books in the series. The witches in this story all have unique powers like Max being able to speak to animals. The love Max shows for Claudia and her daughter right after meeting them is really sweet. The book was entertaining and had a lot of details that made the characters more realistic.

Cursed Whispers by A.J. Renee is the third book in the Broderick Coven series. This is a series that seems to just go from strength to strength to strength. So far this book is definitely my favourite of the series. Claudia and Max have such an undeniable chemistry, you can literally feel it on every single page! I was hooked on their story instantly and just had to find out if they would make things work. I also really enjoyed that fact that the book featured a male witch. More often than not I find authors tend to fall into the habit of witches being female and the male being warlocks or wizards. It was refreshing to read a book the decided not to follow this norm. The story itself was great. It was well thought out and developed just right. The author knew just what to do to keep the story moving at the perfect pace. This is a fantastic book that I would highly recommend – the whole series is definitely with your time!

I absolutely loved this paranormal read! Right from the get go I was captivated and I ended up reading this book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to stop reading. I was so intrigued by these characters and felt so invested in their story and couldn’t wait to find out how everything was going to play out, and I was not disappointed!
I would highly suggest reading this series in order, this story will be better enjoyed having the full backstory of other characters. Just like the other books in this series, Cursed Whispers, is entertaining, unexpected, intense, heart wrenching and basically amazing.
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next paranormal read!

This series is just as exciting and fun to read as the covers suggest they are! I have such a difficult time deciding with each one which is my favorite but I really think this one has taken the cake for me. I was instantly connected to the characters and completely rooting for them to have the happiest of endings possible. Cursed Whispers is the third book in AJ Renee’s Broderick Coven Series so I would recommend reading them in order to get a feel and understanding for what to expect. This story brings us the adventure of Max and Claudia, and they do not disappoint one bit! I cannot wait to see what the next book will bring us! I can only hope the wait is not too long!

This paranormal story is the third in the Broderick Coven series. I highly recommend reading the previous books. She does an amazing job writing about shifting and romance. She is able to intertwine the two worlds. I love the romance between characters as well. In this story, a veterinarian rescued a wolf, but he did not realize who he really rescued. He is able to talk to animals which is when he realizes the beauty underneath the wolf. The problem is that the wolf has some rough past. Will he take the challenge of her past or will it be too much for him? I could not put this book down until I was done with it. I highly recommend this book and series for entertainment to escape the world for a while.

I am not going to lie when I read the blurb to this book,—while pulled my interest—I was like ‘oh this is going to be a typical runaway find love trope.’ I thought I had the whole story mapped out. Boy was I wrong! This book pulled me into the story almost immediately and I am glad for it! Maxwell is a Broderick witch and he is gifted with the ability to speak to animals along with some telekinesis. Enter Claudia, a werewolf, on the run from a massive psychopath that had held her captive for 8 years. This book was delightful. Now I am going to go back and read the other books by this author because it was that good. I definitely recommend this book.

The main characters of Cursed Sight are witches, Ethan and Serena. There are other magical characters in this story such as shifters and demons. Oh my!
While I did not read book 1, I really liked this story. And now I know I need to read the first book in this series, obviously Brandy and Ryan’s story is something that I need to know.
Cursed Sight is about Ethan finding his powers and learning what he sees and how to prevent his visions from becoming a reality. His story looks like it begins in book 1 so all the more reason to read it! Serena is the coven high priestess. Her powers surpass almost everyone’s, but she too, has lessons to learn, like who might be trying to get rid of her. Helping Ethan with his powers may protect her as well.
Ready for book 3…wondering if it will be Peter’s turn or maybe Max? or one of the other brothers?

Each story is getting better and better. Loved these characters. Loved their protectiveness, their devotion, and their energy! Renee writes about a magical world I can imagine being a part of, a world that I want to be a part of.
Many stories build up to the climax and rush the ending causing a letdown feeling, but not Renee. The buildup is intense and well written. The climax was paced just right in this story, I did not feel any disappointment at the “ending”.
Every time I read another shifter story by Renee; I remember just how much I love them! While this is the third in the Broderick Coven Series, it could possibly read as a stand alone if you didn’t already have the first two. (FYI the others as just as good! You will want them too!) The main characters for each book is a different couple but from the Broderick family. Cursed Whispers is about Max Broderick, the veterinarian. The veterinarian that can talk to animals. He finds an injured wolf who turns out to be Claudia, a wolf shifter in need of more than just a doctor’s help. Luckily, Max is special. And ready to fight, protect and love.

Cursed Whispers by AJ Renee is the 3rd book in the Broderick Coven Series and was such a good paranormal romance. The story brought me in and the characters made me stay! They’re were great. Max is a vet who is also a witch with magical powers. Those powers help him speak to animals and that’s the perfect ability for a vet! Claudia is a werewolf Shifter on the run from the people who kept her captive for a few years! She finds max and he helps her! And the attraction between then is explosive and they’re drawn to each other. But there is alot to overcome and just because she escaped does mean that Claudia is safe. Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven Book 3) by AJ Renee 4 Stars!!!!
Another trip into the Broderick coven and I again was hooked from page one. I really like how the author is able to draw in the reader and keep you interested. I can feel all the emotions as though I was right there in the midst of the action. I also like how well balanced the book is with romance and drama.
The chemistry between Max and Claudia is just amazing. I really like how this book is really outlining how both are really finding themselves. Max cause magic is new to him and Claudia cause of the bad experiences she has had all her life. I really like how the author is able to keep the paranormal realistic with each person really personified and down to earth. I like how all the stories really do relate to the last and how it is left open to continue the series. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series.

This is another great book to a great series. This is the third book in this series and it is my suggestion that you read them in order for a better background of the characters and because they are wonderful stories. This book had me hooked from beginning to end, I had such a hard time putting it down. Max is a vet and also a witch who can talk to animals. Claudia is a shapeshifter/werewolf who is barely alive laying in forest until she is found by Max. There is great chemistry between these two but there are more pressing matters to tend to than the pull they feel toward each other. This book is full of action, magic, witches, werewolves, and great characters. This is a must read! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next.

Cursed Whispers is the 3rd book in the Broderick Coven series but it’s the first one I’ve read. So it can be read as a standalone. The doctor dolittle vibes and the cover drew me to this book. I love the authors writing stile so I’m definitely checking out the first 2 books after this. I never would have thought that a male witch could be so sexy. But this kindhearted man with his protective personality just gave me all the feels and was exactly what and who Claudia needs. I absolutely loved it and I’m excited to read how this coven started.

Cursed Whispers is the third book in the Broderick Coven series by A. J. Renee. If you are yet to read the previous books in this series it is not essential before reading this one.
Max lives, breathes, and works with animals. He doesn’t just heal them, but he can actually talk to them…think Dr. Dolittle, but with more paranormal and magical vibes. Claudia is a werewolf and is on the run from her past. She is rescued by Max when he finds her hurt and in distress. She needs more than just medical help, she needs to face her past and save her daughter.
I loved this story. I sometimes find it difficult to get hooked from the start with werewolf-type stories, but this one was great. It is action-packed, the characters are full of energy and passion and there is tonnes of chemistry. I am very much looking forward to the next installment.

This is the third book in the Broderick Coven series. This is a Paranormal novel and is 240 pages. This story follows Max and Claudia. Max is a veterinarian and a witch. Claudia is a werewolf. Max’s witch power enables him to speak with animals. Claudia has been held captive for years. Max found her in the forest and tends to her injuries. But Claudia’s daughter is still somewhere in the forest and she must find her. When Max finds out what has been going, he will go to any lengths to keep Claudia and Katia safe.

A. J. Renee has done it again with this novel. Cursed Whispers is the third book in the Broderick Coven series. Max is a veterinarian and literally talks to animals. Claudia is a werewolf who is rescued by Max as she lay dying in the forest. There is a lot of push and pull in their relationship with Max wanting to protect her and Claudia wanting to find her daughter and escape the people who are her captives. Cursed Whispers is the third book in the Broderick Coven series. I’m hooked on this series. AJ has absolutely outdone herself. If you love protective hero’s and strong heroines check this book out. While you can read it as a stand-alone, I would recommend starting from book 1. This novel is all about Max. The quite one.

Cursed Whispers is the third book in the Broderick Coven series. I am going to go ahead and say this may have been my favorite story from the series too! I really enjoyed it. Love how the author still can pull you into the story from the very beginning. I could not set aside until I was finished reading the entire story. These are my kind of stories too! Very well written, loved the plotline and characters. Does include it’s fair share of witches, shifters, magic, danger, drama, and of course chemistry. Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven Series Book 3) by AJ Renee. This is such a good paranormal romance. Its the story of Maxwell ( Max) Broderick who is a vet but he’s also a witch with magical powers that enable him to talk to animals! Perfect ability for a vet!. Claudia Lupita is a werewolf on the run from 2 very bad guys who have kept her captive for years and she’s finally escaped. When Max and his brothers here her cries of distress in the woods they leap into action. Max starts doctoring her wounds while they are all searching for her baby left in the woods. Max and Claudia feel a very strong connection to each other but Max’s mind is mainly on getting Claudia healed and back on her feet. As they are around one another more and more they keep feeling pulled to one another. Finally its revealed they are mates! With Claudia’s past and Max’s wall will they be able to make it work? This book will keep you flipping pages as fast as you can turn them!

Cursed Whispers is the third book in the Broderick Coven Series by A.J. Renee. I know I said this for the previous book in this series- but this is definitely my favourite, so far. The series just seems to get better and better with each new instalment. This is a wonderful paranormal romance with witches, shifters, chemistry, danger, drama, magic, and more. I was hooked right from the beginning and read the entire story in one sitting. Max Broderick gave off Dr. Dolittle vibes, as he can literally ‘talk to the animals’. But he’s in for quite a life changing surprise when he rescues a dying wolf. The wolf turns out to be a beautiful shifter by the name of Claudia- who has a complicated story to tell. When everything is revealed, Max will do everything he can to help and protect Claudia. What happens makes for a really great read! Can’t wait for more.

AJ Renee has done an amazing job with this book series so far. I fell in love with Serena and Ethan from the beginning. Serena is fiercely independent and strong, the head of her coven. She helped Ethan grow more into himself and his powers. Individually they are incredible but together they are a force to be reckoned with. I loved the appearance of old and new characters that molded into their story. I’m so excited to see what’s next for this incredible family!!

Oh my word! Can I say Max is my favorite so far?! Who doesn’t love a man with a passion for animals? Max is a veterinarian with the ability to actually speak to the creatures he cares for. Claudia is a werewolf with a monster of a past and the mother of the sweetest little girl. My heart broke multiple times for them throughout the book. Max and Claudia’s story will have your heart all mushy. I loved seeing Max’s family wrap around them both. Renee has a way of writing in old and new characters to allow you to see more of their story even when they are not the focus. I’m so excited for the next book and it will certainly be on my TBR list!!

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books as they are just as good. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up her books. They pull me into the story from the beginning and I have a hard time putting it down. This book is no different. I enjoyed being pulled into a story of shifting and romance. A veterinarian has rescued a wolf only to realize there is more to her than just being beautiful. The problem is, she has a past. This is where the story takes off. Can overcoming a past or has life just dealt her too much to accept? These are great characters that made the story fun and entertaining to read. They brought life to the story and kept it engaging to the end. They really made the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Is a very nicely written book. Max is a witch and a Morden day doctor do little. Claudia a Supernatural being searching for her missing daughter. This book has hero’s, heroines, Supernatural being and an amazing plot. I can’t wait to read more from you.
