Three women meet for the first time as roommates in a home for unwed mothers. This book weaves together the women’s stories, including what forces propelled each woman to the home in the first place. A tapestry of women overcoming their circumstances is woven throughout the novel. Readers get to follow the women through the decades to come. I became acquainted with situations I had never considered before. Maybe not every sad tale has a happy ending, but sometimes, there is hope for happiness against all odds.
