Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost to Love Book 1) by Hazel Storm Review By Amanda Chrissomalis

Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost To Love, #1)Remember to Forget Me by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What would you do if you had 6 months’ worth of memories just gone? Nightmares that kept you at bay from remembering all the events from just one night. Not remembering the person, you fell in love with. The haunting dreams of seeing someone die over and over, but not being able to put a name to the face that visits you in those dreams. Think of the one who does remember. Living each day knowing that horrific night changed your entire life. Going on thinking that the love of your life HATES YOU and BLAMES YOU for what happened, when in reality, they lost every single memory of you.

Addie has kept tabs on Wes for over a decade, always at a distance, making sure that she did everything she could to anonymously pay a debt that she felt was owed. After losing her parents and cutting off ties with any remaining family, she has been on her own. One day she bumps into the love of her life, and he has no idea who she is, and that’s when things get tricky.

Wes is a successful pop star! After being bullied and overcoming such a horrific event he found peace in his music and became something. His songs are amazing, BUT not entirely his. After his momager pushes to sue an author for publishing a book (when the author was 14 years old) “using” Wes’s songs her revenge backfires. The day of settlement Wes bumps into Addie. Not knowing who she was exactly, but having this sense about her, he stops her asking if they knew each other. Addie was a deer in headlights and ran as elegantly fast as possible.

Fate has a way of working things out though. Layer that afternoon at a seminar for Anti-Bullying, to her surprise, the speaker who was originally supposed to be there was replaced. And of course, who better the pop sensation Westly Harper to step in and save the day. But what happens when he sees the same girl twice in one day?

Kiss a Thief by Marina Hanna – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

KISS A THIEFKISS A THIEF by Marina Hanna
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Talk about STEAMY!!! This is a fast paced contemporary romance book good for the soul!

Mia and Dylan meet at the gallery Mia works for, while she has no clue that Dylan is a frequent buyer for the same gallery. After a while of some harmless flirting, on Dylan’s part, and selling art while flirting on Mia’s part, Dylan leaves rather quickly and suddenly but not without merit. She is disappointed, but has some new material for her “alone time” – as does Dylan. Things heat up quickly and move fast.

When Dylan has an extremely rare and expensive piece stolen, the detective immediately points to Mia and the distrust, fear, and angst come into play. Will Dylan and Mia get to the bottom of who stole the art piece? Will they be able to trust one another again? Will their chemistry and feelings for one another carry them through?? I guess you’ll have to continue the story to find out.

Castor’s Kiss (Soul Bonded in the Stars Book 2) by Tai James – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

Castor's Kiss (Soul Bonded in the Stars # 2)Castor’s Kiss by Tai James
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Soulmates, warriors and universal battles.
This is my first book by Tai James and it’s a well written story about forming alliances, battling for your life and the budding romance between two people, An adventure of a different kind. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I found this story to be fast paced and engaging. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and had me wanting to read more. A story where love will either survive or will it be the weakness that could get them killed. I really enjoyed reading this book.

The Lie That Binds by Amy Argent – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

The Lie That BindsThe Lie That Binds by Amy Argent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Secrets always have a way of coming out.

Amy Argent is brilliant! This book is very emotionally raw and sad at times. Make sure you have some tissues near you! This book goes to show that even the “toughest” of people have the biggest of struggles.

Nathan, Super popular, super Gorgeous, and a jackass. There’s more to him then just that though. He’s been holding onto a secret for the past two years. Then insert new student… What happens when she sees something she isn’t supposed to? What’s Nathan’s plan? Or what’s his brother’s plan?

Holly is shy, timid, and non-confrontational. Starting a new school is hard, especially when you’re not popular. But she’s taking a stand, heading straight to the popular kids and not taking no for an answer…. BUT it’s high school, easier said then done, right?

What happens when she sees something she isn’t supposed to? Is this something she can use to her advantage to be with the “in crowd”? How will Nathan keep her from telling the whole school his secret?

Devil’s Breath by Lang Johnson – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

Devil's BreathDevil’s Breath by Lang Johnson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cassius is a little different from most people, brain scans will confirm. But what’s wrong with a little different? He likes to walk on the wild side of life (thanks to that brain of his). Is Sera more then he can handle? Cassius just wants to save his parents from having to deal with his brother’s antics anymore. BUT he wasn’t born yesterday.

What would you do with 15 million? What’s the price to pay? Is it worth it?

Sera came from the wrong side of the tracks growing up, BUT now, years later she is a successful rich “business” woman. Her loyalty to her Tay is unending, strong, and unbreakable. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for him.

What’s that saying…. “Don’t mix business with pleasure.” ESPESUALLY when you’re their assassin.
Money, fortune, drugs, lust, love…. What do they all have in common? DEATH, or so you would think.

Can one step away from their family? Start a new life? Or is blood thicker than water?

Tickety Tock: Wicked Warriors MC Arizona ChapterTickety Tock: Wicked Warriors MC Arizona Chapter by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dwarf and Raven both have so much going on. Raven’s past is very emotional as is Dwarf’s and they end up finding love. Don’t let Dwarf’s name fool you… He may be small on the outside, but on the inside his heart makes up for his lack of height. Raven is emotionally distraught, haunted and looking for help, which she finds with Dwarf. This book has many twists and turns, BUT the budding love is worth it! Manda Mellett Hit this book out of the park! I highly recommend this to my friends!

Captivated (Hybrid Lovers Series Book 1) by Toya Richardson – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

Captivated (Hybrid Lovers, #1)Captivated by Toya Richardson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well, I’m not normally into reading Sci-Fi books, but this may change my perspective. Captivated is the most PERFECT title for this book! Toya Richardson had me hooked from the first page. Sexy, mysterious, action packed!! Let’s see how this goes.

Angelina is a small-time artist just getting started in her gallery. She has been having the weirdest of dreams about 2 sexy faceless men and captured them in her art. What she didn’t know is that these two men were about to change her entire life.

Luca and Salvatore are twin brothers. But they are not of this world. Half Vampire, half Angel, making them hybrids. They have a bond like no other, making them fierce, but something is still missing… If they don’t find that something who knows what could happen!?

Is prophecy and Love enough to save them all? Or will the heartache and confusion be their undoing?

Snap Me Up (Full Throttle Cyborgs Book 1) by Landra Graf – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

Snap Me Up (Full Throttle Cyborgs, #1)Snap Me Up by Landra Graf
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well…. This book is completely different from what I thought! My first book by Laura Graf and it was not a disappointment. If this is where the future is headed, sign me up! Cyborgs, and humans working together could be a nice advantage! Being in the car world myself, it becomes useful!

It’s very interesting to see what Gena’s experience is like. Snapper is defiantly the one to show her a thing or two. The way they fight and argue…. Is there an ulterior motive? Why is Gena on Mars? Will she meet her maker? Will she experience life as a full human?

Guess you’ll have to find out.

The Last Cabin Girl (Detective Josie Thompson Series) by Tom Swyers – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

The Last Cabin Girl: A totally gripping thriller full of twistsThe Last Cabin Girl: A totally gripping thriller full of twists by Tom Swyers
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am not sure what I was thinking when I choose this book, but it was totally different than I expected. I do have to say that even though this book isn’t one that I would typically read, I enjoyed it. It took me a minute to get into the book, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. It was a different read for me, but at the same time, I found myself wrapped up in the story. I was questioning the motives of everyone in the book. I definitely think this book is worth anyone’s time to read.

The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy Book 1) by Rowan Rossler – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy, #1)The Cruiser by Rowan Rossler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So, how much is a trip to Monaco? After this book, I MUST go! The MANGO’S seem like they are to die for!

Sexy, drama filled, and filled with sinful delight! Vandana definitely took on more then she thought. After needing a getaway to cope with life, she stepped into the unknown. Being a successful CEO of a PR firm, she may need to enlist in one for herself. Secrets have a way of coming out from those you lease expect.

Morgan can bring out the wild in people. Born on the open waters and growing to sail them when he wants turns out as an advantage. Is Monaco’s Most eligible bachelor able to turn things around? Or will business get in the way.

Rowan Rossler has a talent for setting the mood! This book is for mature readers as it’s very sexually stimulating. And ladies, Morgan is to DIE for! Rowan was able to articulate in a way that I was able to see everything as if I were watching a movie play out in front of my own eyes. I would recommend this to my fellow readers looking for an escape from the real world for a little while!

Deacon (Saints vs Sinners Series Book 1)Deacon by CJ Warrant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Bad Boy, Doctor, and Southern Belle walk in a bar….

Well maybe not into a bar. Deacon Saint has been gone for 10 years and so much has changed. His family, friends, and love of his life are all grown up and moved on… So he thought.

Olivia Bane…. She definitely didn’t think she’d see Deacon again.. especially at one of his best friends funerals… But.. there he was.. Just as perfect as she remembered… What would her boyfriend think of this…

Dr. Martin is an outstanding Doctor… but is that all he uses his hands for?

If I could give this book more then 5 stars I definitely would! I LOVE the multi POV between the two main characters. The plot and the way everything ran together was AMAZING! It was sweet, sultry, real, emotional story will have you laughing, crying, and yelling all o the same page! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone to read!

Forbidden Love: Book 1 of the Forbidden Duet by KM Lowe – Review by Amanda Chrissomalis

Forbidden Love - Book 1 of The Forbidden DuetForbidden Love – Book 1 of The Forbidden Duet by K.M. Lowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forbidden Love indeed. This raw and emotional book will leave tear stains on your sleeves. Following Kally, and Clark through this roller coaster of a life, fighting and clawing their way though hurdles. At such young ages, they face so many obstacles. Will they find their way back to each other, or will the debts, and spotlight of their families tare them apart for good?

If I could rate this book more then 5/5 I would! I personally couldn’t put the book down!

This is a multi POV, so perceptions will vary with each chapter. K.M. Lowe knocked this out of the park! Please be aware that this may be triggering on different levels for people dealing with a lot of real-life issues. The author did an amazing job with taking into consideration the impact these topics could have on someone.
