The continuation of Blue Summer, this sequel follows the cliffhanger of Part One. This sequel is filled with more uncovered truths about the Zayed and Lillie, romance, magic, and thrilling scenes. If you liked the first book, you’ll love the second. Another fast-paced read, Blue Summer Part Two starts off with the events of the previous book and concludes the Blue Summer books. By the end of the book, I was satisfied with the ending.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Blue Summer Part One but found a short story that sets the tone for what should be an interesting series – or at least sequel. Down on her luck, Lillie is having a rough day – that is until she meets two interesting and unusual men who are part of the secretive Zayed community. Her life soon takes a new and unexpected turn, bringing to light a surprising set of events and steamy encounters. Lillie now must deal with the fact she may be predestined to be a key figure in the elusive world of the Zayed. Brimming with magic, romance, mystery, and a different kind of supernatural battle – Blue Summer Part One will leave you begging for Part Two.

This was an emotional book, full of the realities of life and the unfamiliarities of growing up. Ready for Flynn tells the story of Valerie Darsin, your typical teen with a large and loving family who lived in a simplistic and small town. Her picturesque life is suddenly thrown upside down in a series of events, starting with the introduction of a guy named Flynn. The illusive Flynn and small-town Valerie have obvious chemistry and attraction, throughout the emotional rollercoaster that is this story. It’ll leave you wondering if Valerie really is Ready for Flynn.

Alpha Bet Guys series follows five friends after they reunite and start over in these five novellas. A-Hole follows Ace, comedian, and Ella, bank teller, in their steamy romance that gets interesting when the Alpha Bet Guys add in a bet. The Big O is between Ozzy and Hazel, two nerdy characters who have some serious chemistry. Need the D features Dante and Julia in a story where the age gap is reversed and Julia wants a baby. Hard F is Fox and Jenna’s novella in an opposites-attract billionaire romance. Ride the C follows Cruz and Mia where the characters are two aging models. Every story is full of steamy romances, witty dialogue, and some pretty interesting bets. From one book to the next, I couldn’t stop reading until I’d completed the set, now I can’t wait to read more material from Phoebe Alexander.

Tillie struggles with her past on this journey to freedom, encountering a few problems on the way as well as four interesting men. Filled with dark and twisty themes as well as some very hot and steamy moments, this short book leaves you wanting more. Spiteful Punks is a great start to what could be an amazing story of self-empowerment.

New to the supernatural world, Sophie is struggling to uncover the secrets of her late grandmother’s witchy abilities. Unfortunately for her, she was also bitten by a werewolf and is running out of time until the next full moon. At the same time, the werewolf who bit her, Trace, has been tasked with finding the source of a curse placed on his pack – never mind the attraction he feels towards his main suspect: Sophie. Though the story was short, I loved every second of this hilarious, yet steamy, paranormal romantic comedy. I can’t wait to see what’s in store in this world of the New Orleans Nocturnes Series!

A few misunderstandings set the course for this short romantic comedy between comedian Ace Bennett and bank teller Ella Craig. The chemistry between Ace and Ella, as well as their banter-like communication, kept the story fun and enjoyable throughout. The novel grabbed my attention from the first chapter and didn’t let go until the very last page. The author created a well-written story with some rather quirky and swoon-worthy characters. Now that I’ve read this first book, I’ll definitely be looking into the second in the Alpha Bet Guys series!
