BLOOD OATH (MAFIA ELITE BOOK 2) BY AMY MCKINLEY REVIEWED BY CARLIE DEL GALLO

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book that I have read by this author, and I was entranced! From the first page I was hooked and wanted to do nothing more than read this book all day long. Enzo and Sophias story though out this book has numerous twists and turns that had me on pins and needles every second! Sohpia and Enzo’s story start when they are eight years old, and they have been fighting attraction for one another every step of the way. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series with them as well as he next set of people. I could not put this book down. Their story was absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait to see what the next story has in store!

No Way Out (Mafia Elite, book 1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Lucy Vincent

No Way Out (Mafia Elite, #1)No Way Out by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No Way Out is a riveting Romeo-Juliet type tale about two Mafia members. I’d heard a lot about Amy McKinley, so I had high expectations going into this book, and let me tell you- Yall. She does NOT disappoint! While it did take a second into the book for me to fully get a grasp of everything that was happening as all the characters were introduced, once you get past that part, it’s hard to put the book down! I absolutely loved it, and loved the way she wove the story around. 10/10, will be reading more of her books!

Moonlit Whisper by Amy McKinley – Review by Brittany Porter

Moonlit Whisper (An Irish Romance)Moonlit Whisper by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m not usually a fan of love triangles, as those types of storylines often involve characters that are prone to infidelity and lead to broken hearts. However, Moonlit Whisper by Amy McKinley was something pleasantly different. The characters, Fiona, Connor, and Lachlan are well developed, despite this being a short novella. You truly get the sense that things worked out the way they should have in the end, without feeling guilt for the third party. I would love to read sequels to this short story and get to know these likeable characters even more.

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by McKinley. Moonlit Kiss is a page-turner. It had me hooked from the beginning.

Gianna is going to Venice to restore a painting. When she arrives she meets the ghost of the artist who painted the mural she’s restoring. She soon learns the history behind the mural. The quote I chose for Gianna is: “I did. She’s doing much better, especially since Francesca moved in. I think the loneliness was getting to be too much for her.”

Sergio is a neurosurgeon and is there when Gianna almost falls into the canal. There he feels like he knows her although they just met. He can’t explain it, but he can’t let her go back to the states. The quote I chose for Sergio is: “ That woman causes all my instincts to flare. I don’t doubt that you’re right. But without any physical proof, there isn’t much we can do.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense lovers.

Beneath the Surface (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 3) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Brenda Foutch

This is not the type of book I would normally go for, but I am so glad I picked it up! McKinley does a great job at giving readers Romance, Mystery, and some, in my opinion, Thrill. The storyline between Hannah and Jack is addicting. I also love how McKinley gives readers insight into the back story with flashbacks, that help the reader gain a better understanding of Hannah and Jack. 10/10 would read this book again, I feel like it is one that I will keep going back to!

Beneath the Surface (A Gray Ghost Novel, book 3) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

Beneath the Surface (Gray Ghost #3)Beneath the Surface by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was my first audio book and I am very much in love. My new favorite author, Amy McKinley, is not only great at romance, but also suspense. Beneath the Surface is what I would call a great romantic suspense read. As in her other books, her writing puts you right into the action of the story. The story involves a Russian girl, Hannah, who is orphaned that has to survive a “school” that trains her to be a sleeper agent. She is one of the best, due to her harder personality, but does not always let on to that. She’s been “sleeping” for 9 years, in the US, where she works for the US government. In her life, she meets a man, by the name of Jack; her feelings for him scares her away for awhile till he comes to her “rescue”. The ups and downs of where her allegiance to countries lie and love for Jack keeps any reader completely engaged and makes you not want to put the book down. Hannah is a badass character that you can’t help fall in love with.
