Quarterback Keeper: A College Sports Romance (Fall Lake Ballers, Book 1) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Amy Sprau

Quarterback Keeper: A College Sports Romance (Fall Lake Ballers Book 1)Quarterback Keeper: A College Sports Romance by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am such a football romance fan, and Quarterback Keeper by Isla Vaughn fits that need perfectly. This is the first story in the Fall Lake Ballers series, and it finds Gia and Kylian falling for each other after a deal they strike up to allow both of them to achieve their goals. Kylian needs to get his father off of his back because he wants him to marry a billionaire’s daughter and Gia is trying to hide from her ex-boyfriend. Neither of course, come forward with the truths until it is too late, but the twists and turns keep coming. I definitely was rooting for them and of course, they fell in love with each other a little too late.

Night Sweats and Hockey Nets (Hot Flash Hookups Series) by Sylvie Stewart and Marika Ray – Review by Amy Sprau

Night Sweats and Hockey Nets (Hot Flash Hookups #3)Night Sweats and Hockey Nets by Marika Ray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Night Sweats and Hockey Nets is the third book in a series by Marika Ray and Sylvie Stewart (Hot Flash Hookups). This series is so fun, and I absolutely loved this story between Chloe, and Nico! The absolute best part of this whole series is that it is not the typical female character and I found myself laughing the entire way through. In this one, Chloe ends up moving in to be a nanny for Nico’s daughter, and he is in the middle of a huge custody dispute. The chemistry is undeniable between Niko and Chloe. Such a fun, cute and spicy story! Probably one of the best I’ve read in a long time. I can’t wait to read the next one…

Unmasking a Cowgirl (Match Made in Montana Series) by Rachelle Paige Campbell – Review by

Unmasking A Cowgirl (Match Made in Montana Book 3)Unmasking A Cowgirl by Rachelle Paige Campbell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Unmasking A Cowgirl by Rachelle Paige Campbell is the third book in a series called Match Made in Montana Book 3. It is a sweet love story that takes place in a small town in Montana. With it being the third book in the series, I sometimes worry that I won’t know the story. I did not feel this way at all! I was able to piece together the prior stories, and I definitely think it could be read out of order. Joe is a teacher and working on writing a book on the history of Herd, the small town in Montana. Abby runs a food truck, and is planning on opening a restaurant in the future. Abby has a secret that threatens to ruin her relationship with not only Joe, but several of the townspeople that she has become friends with. Such a cute story and one that I would definitely recommend!

Murder in Prospect: An Eve Sawyer MysteryMurder in Prospect: An Eve Sawyer Mystery by Jane Suen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Murder in Prospect is an Eve Sawyer Mystery. This is the 5th book in a series, but I did not feel like I missed anything but not reading the previous books. This book follows Eve and her friend Bob who attend college together. Bob was raised by his Uncle Will and comes to find out that he had passed away, but suspects something just isn’t right about it. He invites Eve to spend Spring Break together. She had solved different mysteries before and thought maybe she could help him look into his death. This is super cute, very quick read and will leave you feeling satisfied with the result.

Where’s Gramma? by Tricia Gardella – Review by Amy Sprau

Where's Gramma?Where’s Gramma? by Tricia Gardella
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where’s Gramma is a cute rhyming story of all the different places Grandma goes to. The illustrations are so great and she gathers more boys as she keeps going. This would have been an amazing story for my Mom to have with my children when they were little. It shows all the little things that Grandma’s want to teach kids about too!

Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance (Half Moon Bay Series) by Erin Brockus – Review by Amy Sprau

Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance (Half Moon Bay #1)Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance by Erin Brockus
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finding Hope is the first in a series called Half Moon Bay. It was an amazing story that followed Hope and Alex in the most amazing location in St. Croix. Hope finds herself looking for a new opportunity for her future and ends up in St. Croix. There she meets Alex who is a diver for the resort that Hope shows up at. This was a very slow burn but intriguing story that left me wanting to read more! I’m definitely in for the rest of the series, and find myself wanting to be the next visitor at Half Moon Bay Resort.

Wild King (King Brothers Series) by K.M. Scott – Review by Amy Sprau

Wild King (King Brothers #2)Wild King by K.M. Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wild King was a great story about chance meetings with two people that had off the chart banter and chemistry off the start. This is the second in a series about the King brothers. It didn’t require me to read the first book and I loved that. I will definitely go back to find out the entire story about Matthias. This one finds Kellen King’s life spiraling out of control. Kellen decides to take a weekend to leave everything behind and meets Salem in a tropical paradise. After an amazing weekend, circumstances force him to head back to reality. Upon returning home, he finds himself back in contact with Salem in a way he never expected.

Love Rinkside (The Playmakers Series) by G. K. Brady – Review by Amy Sprau

Love Rinkside (Playmakers)Love Rinkside by G.K. Brady
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This has to be one of the funniest romances I have read in a while! The entire book is filled with humor, but sizzling heat between Drew and Katie. The whole mascot idea was hysterical. I think my favorite part of the book was the way these characters actually met. It was a quick read and I didn’t want to put it down. It is a novella, but not having read the other Playmakers books, I felt like I didn’t miss out on anything, but I will definitely be adding all other Playmakers books to my list!

Trusting Love (Clumsy Little Hearts Trilogy Book 1) by Julie Navickas – Review by Amy Sprau, Itsy Bitsy Book Bits, Contemporary Romance

The story of Tess and Ryan was such a heartfelt journey. Tess was torn up about her past and fell for Ryan in an instant. Her past threatened everything that Ryan had ever been through, and she didn’t know how he would ever forgive her. The family involved in this book is a big part and the support they give each other. Through it all, Tess and Ryan had explosive chemistry and I didn’t want to put the book down. I’m anxiously awaiting the rest of the series!!

Finding Love (Clumsy Little Hearts Trilogy Book 2) by Julie Navickas – Review by Amy Sprau

Finding Love (Clumsy Little Hearts Trilogy Book 2)Finding Love by Julie Navickas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a most appropriately named series. Miguel and Rachel had instant chemistry, and the story lines surrounding both were so believable and so heartfelt. Every time something happened to threaten anything of a relationship that they were starting, you just cringed because you wanted them to push through. They just seemed to fit in each others lives perfectly. One of my favorite topics of the book is the restaurant and how that plays into their relationship. The book is a second in a series, and I felt like you could read this one independently, but there were a lot of pieces from the first that fit in, and I would have gone back to read immediately if I hadn’t before. The additional characters in the book make you want to be a part of the family, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Stout of My League (Love on Tap Series) by Sylvie Stewart – Review by Amy Sprau

Stout of My League (Love on Tap #4)Stout of My League by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 4th book in a series about 4 brothers and a younger sister, Lynn. It can be read as a stand alone, but I think there are a lot of things that come together from the first three books in this one. This book was my favorite out of all 4. It’s the story of Lynn and Joey, a baseball player from a local baseball team. They have a rough start to their relationship, but they find each other and the banter is off the charts. They have the greatest chemistry and it’s fun to see where they fit into the entire family dynamic. Definitely a must read!

Make Me Want to Love You (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson – Review by Amy Sprau

Make Me Want To Love You: Love in Emerald CreekMake Me Want To Love You: Love in Emerald Creek by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a second book in the series. I did not read the first, but I plan on going back to do that next! I can’t wait to see more books this author writes, and hoping that this series will continue.

This is the story of a single mom, Shayna and her best friends business partner, Burke. Right from the beginning, the chemistry is off the chart! One of the best parts though, is the relationship that Burke has with Shayna’s children. Shayna has to decide if she can be with someone that treats her the way she deserves to be treated. The story has a slow burn, and I’m here to tell you that you want to be there for it all. The author does such an amazing job of making you feel like you are in the book with them. This was one book that I could not put down!

Will You (Pretend) Marry Me (Swan Cove Series) by Christi Barth – Review by Amy Sprau

Will You Pretend Marry MeWill You Pretend Marry Me by Christi Barth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I read this book as a stand alone, and did not realize it was part of a series. You could absolutely read this on its own, although it made me so curious and wanting to grab the previous titles to get those stories! This was an amazing read and I loved the story line and chemistry between Everett and Abigail. The story is focused in a school setting with a relationship between the Vice Principal, Everett, and a new teacher, Abigail. The story line was believable and hit close to home because I work in a school. There is fun spice, and banter, but the story itself is just one you don’t want to end. I especially loved the relationship between all the other characters in the book too.
