I did have the opportunity to read the crown of stones trilogy before this one. You could read this on its own without reading the trilogy the back story is detailed enough that you wouldn’t feel lost or confused but I think it was benefit reading the trilogy first for a better understanding, with that being said. This was an incredible book. It was a very action-packed fantasy, filled with adventure, magic, drama, worldbuilding, captivating, creative story and worlds. We see the two characters Jarrod and Ian tested in ways that make you wonder if they are going to either get out of it or figure it out. This book kept my ADHD attention till the very end, I couldn’t put it down till I found out what happened in the end and can’t wait to see when we will have more stories with Jarrod and Ian. Such an amazing read and very intriguing story.

Healing Kiss by Amanda Uhl – Review by Anastasia Dodson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that i have read by this author and I enjoyed it more than I expected too. The summary of the story sounded interesting and nothing like what I have read about before so i was quick to get it downloaded and read it on my free evening. There was a lot that happened in this story but it didn’t feel rushed. It had elements of romance with a little bit of the supernatural thrown in and that made the story even more interesting. I enjoyed the main characters and the author’s writing style.. so I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!
Happy Reading!
