Evil Sushi by CA King – Review by AnnaMarie Boumans

Evil Sushi (Evil Sushi #1)Evil Sushi by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Starting off I wasn’t sure what I was going to think, but I was drawn in and couldn’t put it down. The whole premise of the story is unique and not something I would have imagined. The scary thing is some things in this story I could really see happening in our world, in this day and age. Some is definitely fantasy but I truly can’t wait to read more of this series and will be diving into book two next, I am truly looking forward to finding out what twists this author has in mind next.

This story is a really cute way to teach kids about infections, and how to let wounds heal. The comparisons the little boy makes in this book is so cute and it was entirely worth the read.

It’s a series of excellent short stories, shifters of all kinds. Some of the stories are dark, some are not but a great mixture of them. I loved the Hellhound story, one of the darker stories, but it makes you think. To me the true sign of a great story or in this case stories.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Matt and Adam. I loved how I love the mythology references in this story. I was able to enjoy this as a standalone not having read the previous books, which I feel like I might need to read those as well. Enjoyed the story and want to know more about Matt and Adam. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
