Savage Truth (Hidden Valley Elite Book 2) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Rayne East

Savage Truth: A High School Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Book 2)Savage Truth: A High School Bully Romance by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tension, tackles and truce
This is the conclusion of Riley and Cole’s story. What a roller coaster this has been. From the novella, Savage Start and throughout Book 1 Savage Lies, I knew this was going to be amazing. Cole is a o force to be reckoned with, but Riley has a strength that can withstand so much. Together there are sparks and chemistry. From enemies to lovers these two play a deadly game. I highly recommend this series (start from the novella!) and can’t wait to continue on with Brutal Days.

A fated mates sci fi fantasy
This is book 2 of the Space Force Rejects series and it continues the adventure from book 1. With fated mates, tension, mystery and an interstellar adventure this is an action packed book that had me engrossed til the end. I was hoping for a continuation of Dravos and Ravena’s story from book 1 but what I got was much more. This book follows Sera and Markus as they battle their way to freedom. Looking forward to book 3.

Lost in the fantasy
I didn’t want this to end. Magnificently executed, I just love the vividness of the world this author brings. Titania is a brilliant character – she has her plate full but she keeps on giving her all. She needs to harness her gift, work out the prophecy and find a husband.
For lovers of high-end fantasy, paranormal and strong suspenseful storylines – you will not be disappointed. (Definitely start at book 1!) Highly recommend.

Fate, fantasy, finale
What an adventure this trilogy has been. This book brings Ian’s journey to an end in a magnificent way. The characterisation, world building and epic battles were brilliantly executed and the emotions raw. This book brings answers that have been sought from the start and some heartbreak. Highly recommend the whole series from start to finish.

Adventurous, creative, quirky
Return to Hoodoo is a paranormal mystery that is engaging, quirky and full of crazy fun. This is a well written ghostly adventure that has witches, vampires, demons, magic and even a haunted house. I love the maturity of Gwen and her confidence. There is a cliffy so I will be keeping an eye out for the next book so I can go back to the antics of Azure House. Recommend.

Undying Light (The Stella Maris Series Book 1) by Aurora Wildey – Review by Rayne East

Undying LightUndying Light by Aurora Wildey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Intriguing
This is the first book in The Stella Maris Series and I really enjoyed it. It was slow in parts but as this is the first book there was a bit of a foundation to lay. Once the pieces started to rally into place the momentum builds. We are still learning so much about the characters and Kaela is still unaware of so much. With mystery, danger and trust issues the story is left on a bit of a cliffhanger.
I am now very keen to check out book 2. Recommend.

The heart knows
The third book in The Echo Series and this is Chris and Rowan’s story. We met Chris in previous books and I was glad he got his own book. The banter and chemistry between Chris and Rowan and the added mystery kept me glued from start until finish. I loved the cameos from characters from the previous books and how everything was cleverly woven together. Highly recommend this book and the whole series.

The Sweet Temptations Trilogy (Sinful Delights)The Sweet Temptations Trilogy by L.M. Mountford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Steaming hot!
This boxset contains The Sweet Temptations Trilogy with each book following Richard. Book 1 has Richard in an age-gap temptation with The Babysitter. Book 2 he finds himself in an enemy to lovers situation with the boss’ daughter. Book 3 he finds himself in an unexpected Ménage à Trois with his wife and his dirty little secret. All 3 books are easy to read, delightfully sinful and will have the reader needing to cool down. Recommend.

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising Book 3) by Nadia Han – Review by Rayne East

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising, #3)The Innovator by Nadia Han
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Multi-layered romance
This is book 3 in the Waterfyre Rising series and a worthy addition. Each books adds another element to the complexity that is Waterfyre. Grayson and Natalie are very strong characters, each with their own issues they need to face. The forced proximity, enemy to lovers aspect is woven into the suspenseful mystery storyline really well. I enjoy this author’s writing style and even though this can be read as a stand-alone, it’s really adds to the experience having read the previous two books. Highly recommend.

Brilliant YA superhero fantasy
I loved this book. Noah is an awesome MC and so relatable. The author’s take on Supers is fascinating and her writing style is engaging. The storyline sucked me in – the Supers, their powers, the mystery surrounding the mutants and the science – I was left wanting more at the end. Can’t wait to see where the author takes Noah next. Highly recommend.

Bully, Enemy to lovers romance
I really enjoyed the sneak peek into Cole and Riley’s life in Savage Start which set the foundation for this book. What an emotional roller coaster. The author builds the tension, angst and highly intense emotions so well. With a mix of scandals, family drama and darkness intermingled with romance and high school. There is still more to come for Riley and Cole in book 2- which I can’t wait to read. Highly recommend.

Romantic and deep
This is the second book in The Echo Series and I really enjoyed the friends-to-lovers complicated second-chance romance. The layers of the story were delivered seamlessly and the characters well developed. I was vested in Brandon and Callie from start to finish. I think I enjoyed this even more than book one , which makes me even more excited for book 3. Highly recommend.
