This is the third book in the New Orleans Nocturnes Series, and can be read as a stand alone, But reading the first two is recommended!
Another great addition to this series, I just can not get enough of this story! This series has become one of my favorites and I hope to see more of it!! With each new book comes a new romance, and with each new romance comes hilarious, and steamy, interactions! If you love romance, and supernaturals, you surely will love this series as much as I do! Truly deserving of its 5 star review!

This is a lovely heartwarming story about 2 people from different walks of life meeting and falling in love.
Jeremy has had a good life apart from losing his dad. He had a mother who loves him completely. Hes grows up surrounding by love and is starting to become successful.
Livy is from a disfunctional family. Her childhood was hard with a mother that doesnt want her. So soon as she became old enough. She left and got a job in a bar. Thats where Jeremy and Livy meet.
Their relationship is hard as they both learn to trust one another and learn to grow together. Eventually they get married.
However after they are married the relationships takes a turn for the worse.
Can they rebuild their marriage or will it be broken for good.
Its a lovely story and shows that a relationship is hard worl and needs working on constantly. It isnt always romance and flowers. Its heartbreak and angry words but its how you come through this that makes a relationship stronger.
The story sets off in 1932 on a summer night for two brothers, Joel and Clancy Fitchett. Clancy is unconscious and Joel is the older brother carrying him to rescue. They both “don’t remember” what happened but Joel has a permanent reminder in the form of a face scar. Thirteen years down the line, they’re still experiencing tremors of that ill-fated night as they’ve made a forever pact amongst the two of them. In the middle of a murder investigation, the brothers decide a course of action that changes their lives forever. In 1991, college pupil Gary Stark, embarks on a journey to Texas where he believes he’s found his long-lost biological grandfather in Clancy. Clancy’s been missing since 1946 but Gary wants a family in finding his grandfather. Unbeknownst to him, he’s about to discover more than he’s bargained for in sixty years of secrets Joel, Clancy and the love of their life, Lorraine have hidden from the world. This book has you traveling from WWII to 1992 where we discover concealment, solitude, resentment, and deceitfulness from the fans of these authors. This is the best thriller and crime book I’ve read in awhile. I love the layers of the story as the mystery of it unfolds through different time periods. It’s fun and addictive to read on a multitude of levels. Fantastic writing from the authors as well. In this almost-realistic feel, I found it inspirational at how much the characters were able to overcome and live through. This was definitely a page-turner. Haunting and unpredictable, it took me to places I never knew I could go. I’ve cried through some pages as well. Action-packed with the way it took us through different times with the characters. Tragic in what these characters had to endure in so many ways. The story is so original and twisted, it leaves you craving more of each page.

Sex O-S by Gaia B. Amman a refreshing four-star read. This is number four in the Italian Saga and also number two in the Italian Teen novels, it could be read as stand-alone, but I have read the whole Italian Saga and would say if you don’t fancy the whole thing, just try the Italian Teens. This is emotional and empowering and will surprise you in so many ways, it picks up after the last story and Leda continues to surprise us with her sense of self, becoming more of a young lady instead of the tomboy we had met previously, much like your typical teenager, but Leda just has that something special. This is deep and its not your typical romantic story, so don’t think its all roses and joy.

Enemies of Doves by Shanessa Gluhm a five-star read that will cross the line between enemies and friends. I really didn’t like this one all the way through, I loved it then something would happen, and I would hate it, then another couple of pages and I would love it again. It’s a quandary what to write as well, as there are so many details or clues to the story, as this was one of those stories that has little Easter eggs dropped through the story, and they just build to this massive story, its so well done as you are almost drip-fed the story to keep up the drama and suspense but it’s that well done you don’t realise. Its one that will keep you hooked so whatever you do don’t start this thinking you can do a couple of pages before bed.

Baba Ali and the Clock Work Djinn by Danielle Ackley-McPhail & Day Al-Mohamed a refreshing four-star read. This was my first read by these co-authors and I was so surprised by their descriptive powers, you can mentally picture the scenes so well. Considering this covers so many genres all wrapped into one story it could get so confusing but the authors do a great job of keeping the pace and plot so you don’t get lost it was very well done. It did start a little slow, but it picked up so well that I really enjoyed it. I also really enjoyed the way the authors have of revealing surprising elements was really well done, they don’t just drop the mike, they build to it and then boom major drop. If you like a fantasy re-telling with steampunk elements then pick this up.

Finding Leda: The Science of Happiness (Italian College novel 1, The Italian Saga) By Gaia B. Amman 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Finding Leda: The Science of Happiness (Italian College novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman. I have read several of the books in this series and have found them to be entertaining and addictive to read. I love the character of Leda and always enjoy reading about her life and experiences. I find that my emotions went up and down along with hers in this story. Leda is going to college and between that, wanting to join a band, and a volleyball team, she doesn’t seem to have time for romance. Then chemistry and attraction starts and Leda wonders if he is the one? Read this book to find out the full story. Leda’s world includes her education, friends, and her search for happiness. I also enjoy reading about the additional characters that interact with Leda. This is a story that has moments that made me laugh and others that had me wondering what Leda would do next. This is another wonderful story to read in an amazing series. I highly recommend reading it.

One sweltering night… and morning after. He set the tempo, and she matched him step for step. No strings. No hearts.
BRITTANY
It was supposed to just be a one-night stand. I wasn’t supposed to catch feelings. He’s a rock star and having feelings for him would be devastating. And I’m already struggling — no job, no home, no love life. Besides, I don’t believe in love or happily ever after. Fun and orgasms are much more concrete.
BROOKS
Just one night. Usually just one round. That was all I was good for. It was all I ever wanted. It kept girls from getting clingy. Of course with her, I wanted multiple rounds and the next morning. But when I left, that was supposed to be the end of it. So, why can’t I get her laugh out of my ears? Her smile from behind my eyelids? Her touch off my fingertips? Her moans out of my dreams?
What happens when love turns up the tempo? Can the rocker learn to keep up?
So, I know these things are generally written in third person as if someone else is talking about me. But I just can’t do it. LOL. It may be “unprofessional” but I’m just me. And I hope that’s OK with you guys.
I’m a Carolina girl, through and through. I’ve lived in North Carolina my whole life. I’m a wife, a mom, a scientist and a freelance editor. And now I guess I get to officially add author to the list of things I am. I still can’t believe it.
For as long as I can remember, reading has been my favorite way to pass the time. I always have a book with me and usually am reading more than one at any given time. Editing for indie authors gave me a unique glimpse into the indie publishing world. It’s a world I’m really enjoying becoming a part of.

My love for books all began as a book-blogger, dedicating my time and passion to talented authors, assisting and reviewing the world’s top writers.
A voracious reader myself, and my insatiable appreciation for the book world, I wanted more. I soon discovered my own passion for writing, and knack for storytelling. Writing what I loved to read, the romantic suspense genre was a perfect fit. Dreaming of new ways to tug on my readers heart strings, and creating scorching hot love scenes fed the thrill for inventing new stories.
I had only just begun, and came out of the gate with a blast, delivering an Amazon best-selling Author status with my first book, in 2015, then again with my second series.
Check out my Forgotten Trilogy (two versions: Hot and Steamy or Sweet and Sensual.)
And the Surviving Series, a five-book continuing story.
Every time you leave a positive review for an author.
You become that little voice in her ear that whispers,

Italy, year 2000. Leda had her share of Prince Charmings, bad boys, heartbreak, and other nuisances. Now she’s set for life—eyes on the prize: happiness, the kind that is achieved by loving herself and working hard at her degree in Medical Biotechnology.
Except that…she can’t forget him.
Sergio: the drug dealer, the poet, the chaos theory in Leda’s no-nonsense life. Their friendship grows deeper despite her skepticism. Hell, their attraction would defy gravity.
So, here we are: logic and love, instinct and rationality.
What is the perfect balance to find true love and happiness?
You will love this slow-burn tale of vulnerability and self-discovery because it’s based on a true incredible story full of emotions and real-life advice.

Kat’s Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell
5-Stars
Kat’s Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell was engaging and exciting. It was full of twists I did not expect. Kat went through a lot in this novel. I was extremely impressed with her strength. I was shocked with the revelations at the end of the book and can’t wait to read book four. Bran also went through a lot in this novel and I am curious to know what his role will end up being in book four. Dagada, despite his power being stripped, was still a selfish jerk at times. He was forced to be more humble but he fought it. Such an excellent read.

Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance (Celestial Academy Book 1) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is a YA fun paranormal world story with Angels and the Devil and magic. It was easy to get lost in the magical world the authors have created. There is a lot going on where there is action and danger, and the characters are endearing as we follow along on the adventure and their banter. The daughters of good, Archangel Michael and evil, Lucifer must join forces to retrieve a magical item, Lucifer’s Emblem that has been stolen and the fun begins.

Life’s a Witch: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen is a fun romantic comedy in the paranormal world. Witches and wolves, vampires and magic are what Carrie does best. When ever I see her name, I know I just must get it and get lost in the magic she creates and is know for. Each book in the series just gets better and better and always stays with me long after I have finished the story. I would read the first two books in this series before you read this one as the characters intertwine.

Kat’s Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell is an engaging fantasy story. Nikki’s writing skills and attention to detail make this story easy to fall into and get lost in. I have been waiting for the next book in the series and I am not disappointed, it has a bit of everything that you would expect to make it an enjoyable read. From Gods and Goddesses, magic and Fae, danger and witches, lies and secrets, hope and despair. It includes mythologies of the gods that we have come to know. It is nonstop action as we journey along with the characters that are looking at the end of the world.

Life’s a Witch: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy is the third book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen. The story opens with Crimson in a lot of trouble. She’s on trial for a spell that went wrong and the punishment is having her powers bound for eternity. Crimson’s last resort is to challenge the high priestess to a battle…of magic…which is a huge issue for Crimson. None of her spells seem to go right, but it’s her only option. Maybe her adopted father, who’s an angel, can help her out with a miracle. Then there is the oh so charming demon Mike Cortez, who is trying to strike yet another deal with the Devil. The Devil is looking for a new assistant, and Mike knows just the witch for the job. Problem is, he isn’t sure he is willing to give up Crimson and damn her to a life with the Devil. The two must work together if they are to save Crimson. This story, as well as others in this series, are a true balance of paranormal, romance, and comedy. I love how the author puts such a comedic spin on a genre that is often portrayed as scary or terrifying. And who doesn’t love a good love story, even if it’s among witches and demons.

Every Last Psycho: A Collection of Two Novellas by Zarina Macha is a darker YA story where the subject matter will cause triggers and is delving into mental health. I did find it harrowing as we dealt with schizophrenia and drugs/alcohol and sexual violence. The gravity of the subject matter was a lot to take in and I found myself wondering if I wanted to continue, it was written in a matter of fact way and not really with any emotion. Don’t get me wrong I love dark stories, but I felt overwhelmed, it’s like a bad trip that just won’t end. I am not sure if it was because they were short stories that Zarina was trying to put more into it or if it was me, but I think you really need to be mentally healthy to read these books. I also don’t recommend it to anyone who is under 18.

Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou. I have read many other books by this author and I just absolutely love the way the words just flow. This book had me invested from page one. It was a great romantic book that had me laughing out loud at times. Being Italian, I can relate to the large, loud, meddlesome family. Only it being Greek in this book. I loved it and can not wait for more.

Kat’s Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell. This is the 3rd book in this series and although its short it is great! Its the story of Kat whose life is out of control. Earth is on the verge of collapse from unseen forces and Bran the god she loves has taken off and not returned yet. Kat is trying so hard to find her path in life and when her memories are stolen she feels completely lost and shut off. As chaos takes over her life is unraveling at remarkable speeds and the Fae world is ready and willing to claim her but can she trust them? If she isn’t careful she will lose everything that is dear to her. Will she find the path she needs to be on before she completely loses her way. Will Bran return to her? Read Kat’s Conundrum to find out. I recommend reading the first 2 books to keep up with this quick, twisty storyline!

Baba Ali and the Clockwork Djinn: A Steampunk Faerie Tale by Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Day Al-Mohamed was an exciting read. I loved the steampunk element, it has been a while since I ran across it as a part of the story. Ali was a good character, I liked his wholesomeness. He comes across so controlled and overall good. The mystery, romance, and adventure were a fun get away from current life.

Bargaining is the third in the series of Mina Charas Hero High Series. The book starts with a very brief intro and a flashback to the end of the second book, but I really would recommend starting from book one if you haven’t already, for me it’s not the type of series you can start reading at any point. Book three continues to follow Friday Fitzsimmons. Friday is still battling enemies, but she also has internal struggles to battle. She knows what makes a good superhero, so why doesn’t she feel like one? I love the way you see Fridays character develop and grow throughout the series of books, she is strong yet insecure and vulnerable, which makes her very easy to relate to, she isn’t your run of the mill main character, which I really enjoy. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you’ve loved the books so far then this is a must read. It’s a short story but as usual it’s action packed, with a few surprises along the way!

Kat’s Conundrum by Nikki Broadwell is the third book in the Raven and Hummingbird series. This is a brilliant addition to an already great series and is a book I have thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend reading this series in order as it follows the same characters. It was so easy to fall right back into Kat and her story. This book was just as exciting and fast paced as the other books have been. It is just so engaging. Nikki Broadwell has created a lasting and entertaining series and each time I get my hands on one of these books I have to start it straight away. If you haven’t done so already I would highly recommend you try this series today.

I’ve read Nadine Travers’ books in the past and they’ve had an effect on me in an amazing way. She writes in a powerful way because not only is she an amazing writer but her books take you to a different place. Her works keep you entertained in some of the best ways. Her work is unpredictable in the ways that keep you tuned in to reading more and her characters are easy to love with each book. Just like previous books I’ve read from this author, it’s action-packed and original with great world building which takes it to another level but makes it easy to read. In this book, someone wants authority over the incubus. Using the Seal of Solomon, he magically summons combatant master, Lilandra Reeves. Lilandra has to proceed to Vancouver to secure the release. Livy and Jeremy come from both sides of the spectrum as far as love goes. It’s like they speak two different languages and from two different planets. Livy being from Mars and Jeremy from Venus or vice versa. Livy is not one to believe in love at least the way the world has told her to believe. Jeremy is ready to prove to her that he can make all her love dreams come true. That is, though, until everything turns their world upside down. They let the world as they know it crumble their structure and they go with the motions of the ocean. As time goes on, they realize only they can change their fate. Will memories be enough to rekindle their fire or is it too little too late? Right now, with all that’s going on in the world, I could use this book at the right time to keep my mind during this quarantine. If you’re a relationship or marriage chick like me who believes in hopeless romantic stuff like this, it’s the book for you. I love books about romance and anything about reuniting in love. This is just that type of book for rediscovering your love for someone and doing what it takes to stay in love or find your way back to one another. This story is beautiful as you believe all that it is for the couple and their love story. Great book!

K. L. Montgomery is a mastermind putting comedy and romance together. She writes about the funny moments in a relationship and not the difficult moments. Her characters bring life to the story. This is book 6 in the Romance in Rehoboth series. It can be a stand alone book, I highly recommend reading all the books. This is Larissa and Mateo’s story. One thing that I love about this story is that Larissa is a strong woman who stands up for her special needs daughter. She is not afraid to speak her mind. All she wants is that her little girl be treated like every other little girl. In comes Mateo, who is running a pageant and is prepared to deal with the strong pageant moms. He understands that each mom thinks that their little girl is going to be the pageant queen. That is until he meets Larissa. Will Larissa be too much for him? Will Larissa open her heart up to Mateo? You will have to read this story to find out the answers to these questions.

This is book 5 in the Romance in Rehoboth series. It can be a stand alone book, I highly recommend reading all the books. This book is all about Jason and Hannah. Jason’s family has the grooms specifically. Meanwhile Hannah’s family has the local bridal shop. Now these families have had a feud going on for most of the existence of the shops. But now there is a new enemy of both shops, a one stop shop chain store. Can Hannah and Jason work together to save their shops or will the new store succeed in closing the two local stores?

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satans Devils MC Series) By Manda Mellett 5 out of 5 stars
This is an amazing boxset of the first five books in a series that I found hard to put down. It includes alpha males whom are protective of their brothers in the MC club as well as those who they find an attraction to. I love MC club books and these five stories are a very good example of why. Start reading a series that is entertaining and addictive. I highly recommend them.
Turning Wheels:
I loved the first book in this boxset. It is the story of Sophie and Wraith. Sophie is a woman who believes that she is broken, that no one would want her. She is still trying to adapt to life now that she is in a wheelchair. She also has come under the protection of the Satan’s Devils MC club. Wraith is the VP of Satan’s Devils and an alpha male. He is determined to protect Sophie. Will Wraith be able to keep Sophie safe from threats both inside and outside the club? What does the future hold for Sophie and Wraith? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about what happens to Sophie and Wraith with each chapter that I read. This story is suspenseful and also has emotional moments. There are romantic scenes that are steamy and make the temperature in the room rise. This is a perfect storyline and beginning to the series.
Drummer’s Beat:
This is a wonderful second book in the series. It is the story of Drummer and Sam. Sam is a woman who is strong, independent, and looking for her father who she says is part of the Satan’s Devils club. Drummer is the president of the Satan’s Devils and finds himself trying to deny his attraction to Sam. Sam has been taken by a sex trafficking ring. Drummer will do anything to find her. What does the future hold for Drummer and Sam? Will Drummer find Sam? Read this book to find out. I loved the characters of Drummer and Sam. I found myself caring about what happens to them with each chapter that I read. This story is suspenseful, and it finds the club facing danger. The book also has some steamy romantic scenes as well. Awesome second story.
Slick Running:
This is the next wonderful story in an amazing series. It is the story of Ella and Slick. Ella helped the Satan’s Devils. Then she ran away from them and Slick. When she contacts him again, he is at first determined not to get fooled again. Then he learns the reason why he then is determined to not only help her but get her back as well. What does the future hold for Slick and Ella? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has dark moments as well as heartbreaking ones. One of the reasons why I love this series so much is that the Satan’s Devils club is one that has a code of brotherhood and to protect those who fall under their protection. While they may be misunderstood by many, they believe in bringing justice to those that they help. This story will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. The wonderful third book in the series.
Targeting Dart:
I loved reading the story of Dart and Alex. Dart believes that all he can offer is friendship. Then he finds that his feelings are deeper. Can he keep Alex safe when her ex catches up to her? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I grew to care about what happens to Dart and Alex with every chapter that I read. I loved the care and devotion that they both showed to Alex’s child. The story has some moments that made me mad, heartbreaking moments, as well as ones that touched my heart. A wonderful fourth story in the series.
Heart Broken:
This story is one that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. It is Heart’s Story. Heart is angry, in pain, and haunted. He embarks on a journey he had no intention of returning from. Until a voice calls to him from his phone. The voice belongs to a cop. Cops and outlaw bikers can’t be in a relationship, right? Read this book for the whole story. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. A perfect fifth book in the series.

This is third book in the hero high series and it is my favorite so far. I highly suggest reading all of the books in order to get the best reading experience the author intended us readers to have! The characters are the best part of this series because I can’t help but like them and because the the story is well written I feel like I am right there with them, experiencing everything too. There is a lot of twists and turns in this book and people aren’t what they seem. Go get this series now! 5 Star Hawk’s Cry (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2) by Manda Mellett
Hawk’s Cry is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation by Manda Mellett. Holy Cow this is not your typical MC story. This had my emotions all over the place and I felt like I could so relate to Hawk on so many levels. This Author never ceases to amaze me. I truly think that this is my absolute favorite yet. What happens when Hawk starts to question rather what he’s doing is what he really wants to be doing? Get ready to be taken on one heck of an emotional journey with this absolute must read. I can’t recommend not only this book but this Author enough. I can’t wait to read more.

Hawk’s Cry (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read. I was excited to read the next book in the series. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
This is Hawk and Olivia’s story, they are preparing for their new baby. Hawk wants to get out of the MC life but it’s not as easy as it sounds. He keeps it all built up inside and increases his anxiety which causes distance between him and Olivia. Olivia is trying to figure out why Hawk is pushing her away. Things get even more interesting when there is a scary twist that involves Olivia.
How will everything turn out for Hawk and Olivia?
Overall this was a great read. This was a very emotional rollercoaster of a read, I was exhausted by the time I finished. It was great seeing all the MC members again, they are such a great family that watches out for their own. I’m loving this series and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Thank you Manda Mellett for another great read. 1-click and get started today.
