Slay It With a Diamond (Diamond District Mystery Book 3)Slay It With a Diamond by Rob Bates
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

New to the Rob Bates mystery-verse, and impressed with the attention to detail in this story. The characters were good, the story easy to follow, it was a good exciting read. I only gave 4 stars because it took me a bit to get into it which is a personal problem not the authors fault!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Susan has so quickly become one of my favorite authors. Honestly I know I’m going to sit down and lose all sense of time and place because she sucks you in so deeply. My heart was racing, palms sweaty more than once reading this one. I cannot get enough of the mystery/look over your shoulder thrillers. The characters she creates captivate your attention and you just feel as if you have been friends for a long time. Read any book by Susan and you won’t be disappointed.

I will be the first to admit that sports romances aren’t typically my go to however the push and pull made the chemistry for these college students on fire. Callahan can’t resist the challenge Jamaica presents and this book had me sweating in some moments! Really well played by the author and definitely piqued my interest and held on right into the end zone!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t know what it is about T.S. Simons but they have a way of just pulling you right into the story. This was even better of a read as a Canadian getting to see some culture there. Caitlin and Gio are such great characters and I really was pleased the second in the series didn’t drop the ball so to speak. Thrilling read with some great ups and downs to keep you pulled all the way in!

Wolfbane (Wolfbane #1)Wolfbane by Celia Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am a die-hard for paranormal romance and when I tell you that I devoured this one I am not joking. I found a book that finally had some “meat” and wasn’t an hour read which gave it all the more points on my scale. Jasmine was so easy to love. Always the good girl now stuck choosing between two guys. Gah I couldn’t get enough! I cannot wait to read more Celia books cause she locked me up and threw away the key. This goes in my reread pile for sure!!

Belinda Williams delivers festive romance on a silver platter. I can always guarantee when inread a book who’s main character is down on their luck, it’s going to captivate me. This book was ready wrapped in a blanket with the fireplace going and it was perfection. Funnily enough I have been obsessed with watching Bondi rescue so I was up for this Australian vacation love whirlwind. I didn’t want it to end but it was good all through. I enjoyed the drama of the story line and the roll with it attitude of the fmc. Good read!!

Read it, read it, just read it. You will NOT be disappointed. I adored this book and it sucked me into a world that felt so real with characters that captivated me and had me hanging on every word and move. I just started the ACOTAR series recently and this held the similar air of angst, feelings, and strong characters. I am not sure where Meredith has been hiding from me but I am so dang glad I found her because I could live a thousand lives following her well written words. Couldn’t give this enough stars.

This was an easy to read, easy to enjoy, easy to love novel. Probably the first I have ever read that really could be a hallmark movie. Holly and Ash were great characters, well thought out to execute the story and easy to fall for. I read this book in one sitting and while is spooky season (for me), it was definitely a worthy read. Author is new to me if I recall and she has earned her place on my shelves!
