One book written by 10 authors!! What a fun way to write a series! First book I have ever read that was a 10 author collaboration. And it certainly didn’t disappoint!! Aeris is a Fae from the mystical realm of Laric. She has unique air abilities and uses glamour to walk around New Orleans. Not being aloud to leave her realm and being forbidden to be around humans doesn’t stop her one bit. One day while out in the world she bumps into Detective Callum, which would normally be fine. Written off as a stumble or someone else just miss stepping into him, but not this time! Callum can actually see Aeris! No human has ever been able to see past her glamour. None! This is bad. So, so bad. Fae-Human unions are forbidden and her secrets are also her realms’ livelihood. Callum has never seen anyone like Aeris. She’s captivating, mystical, and of course beautiful. His life is about to be turned upside down and he has no clue. A world of magic has been hidden in plain sight and he never knew. He certainly does now!! Will these two face what’s lerking around New Orleans? Fated love is fated for a reason right? Will destiny stand in their way? This is book one of the five book series and I can tell you right now that I can not wait to read the rest!! This one was so good!! It hooks you right in and keeps you on the edge of your seat to see what’s going to happen next! I loved the elemental side to the story and I’m excited to see more in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you don’t know much about ballet, like myself, you won’t find yourself lost. The author makes it easy to understand and even though it is a big portion of what the book is about; you will get swept away with all the suspense. I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with this book but I am so glad that I took that chance to read it. This book had so much suspense and it was so well written. It is one of those books where you think you’ve gotten everything figured out and then there is a curveball that you didn’t see coming and everything you thought just goes out the window. I truly didn’t expect the book to go the way it did and I completely loved it. There is romance in this book that is sprinkled throughout all the suspense. I just really loved this book. I can’t get into the specifics about it because I know that I will give away spoilers and I don’t want that because I want every reader to be as surprised as I was. I have found a new love for suspense and romance after reading this book.

Touched was a quick, entertaining read. It takes place in New Orleans, LA and, at first, is very reminiscent of the Wicked series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Which also takes place on New Orleans. I found LeBlanc and many of the supporting characters fun to read. Though this has multiple authors, it reads as though there was only one. I look forward to reading the next installment when it is released.

This is an amazing set of 4 books in one. I love that I was able to keep reading story after story. I didn’t have to wait for the next one to publish and that made the material fresh in my mind. These book flow together and all contain the same intensity throughout them. These books are quick reads because the words jut flow off the pages. I felt like I just sat down to read them and then they were done. Each book focuses on a different set of characters. These characters all have growth and have experiences that help create the story line for the book. They have different tropes to the books, those include enemies to lovers and forced proximity. The steam is in each book but it is different in each as well. I just can’t get over how good these books are. There is spice, suspense, laughs, shocked moments, and push and pull with emotions throughout these books. If you are one that loves reading series, this would be the best way to do it. I recommend having a day free because once you start reading this, you won’t want to stop. So good.

Let’s start with the obvious, you can read this book before reading the others in this series. There are characters that overlap between books but each book can be read as a stand alone. You don’t feel like you are missing out on anything if you are starting with this book. You will want to go and read the other books in the series. Now, let us talk about this book. It is amazing and fast paced. The action on the pages keep you turning them. When I say this book was a quick read, I don’t mean that by it being a short time span; I mean it because the action and pace of the story line is quick. Just when you grasp what happened, something else happens. The cars in this book just accelerates the story line and the pace which the author wants to take you through the story. Then the author adds in some amazing characters that help feed into the pace of this book. I felt like an adrenaline junkie while reading this book. When I finished it, I felt like I do things that are way out of my normal. lol. This book will have you thinking you can do some of this amazing stuff that the characters do because you can relate to them. The characters help drive home the chemistry in this book and I loved every second of it. I will be reading the rest of the series because if this book was the good, can you imagine what the whole series is like and how even more incredible it could be. This book contains a little of everything for everyone. I highly recommend reading it even if you don’t like romance, you will like the banter with the characters and the action in this book.

I am giving this book 4.5 stars because it is a completely new way writing a romance. I am not going to lie the reason I took.5 off in the stars in because, it took me a bit to figure out the flow of the book. I was a little confused when I started it as to how it was going to. My advice to y’all is to keep an open mind and through everything you have thought about romance novels out the windows. Once, I was able to grasp how the author was writing this book, I fell in love with it. I realized that I love the creative way she tackled this story line. The journey to find what truly makes one happy and what they want/need to feel loved completely. The journey of the main character is on of self doubt, finding inner strength, societal pressures, family pressure, loving but not loving enough, and finding what truly makes one happy. It was a great quick read and I couldn’t put it down.

This is the second book of the Finnerty and Liccione Mystery Series. However it is the first one I have read. There are parts of the story that I’m confused with because I haven’t  read the first book. Overall the book was amazing. There is some trigging moments especially for those who have harmed themselves in the past. I do not recommend reading this book if you have ever felt that way. It was very eye opening for me how others view the world when they are in a vulnerable place. While it a fiction book the knowledge is real. I did enjoy reading the story and I’m glad that figured out the incident and helped someone who was struggling with a loss.

I loved everything about this book. I loved seeing a female lead character be in charge, especially during the time period that this book takes place. I love the push and pull she has to do what her heart desires or what society claims is proper and right. Even though the leading male character is younger than what is expected, he shows an intellect that proves to be what the leading lady craves. Well, that and his ability to follow orders. There is this tension between them and it is a spicy push and pull. There is steam just coming off the pages of this book and I was so there for it. I haven’t read a book in this series but will definitely keep reading the entire series.  It was a quick read because I fell in love with the characters and with the story line. I felt transported into a whole other time and space. It was amazing. I can’t say much more without giving things away but I highly enjoyed this book and will be recommending it to anyone who wants historic romance with a side of spice.

I really enjoyed this book. I love that there are multiple authors that came together to create a unique story line and book. It is really well put together and you really can’t tell which author wrote what part. I feel like that makes the writing of this book top notch. It is seamlessly done and the steam that is poured into the pages, really made the book feel like it came from one author. I can’t imagine the amount of time and communication it took in order for the book to flow like it does. AMAZING!!! Let’s talk about the steam, it isn’t in your face like it can be in some books but it is there to really help the story line. The storyline would continue without it and be completely fine but it just adds the right amount of spice to make you blush but not sweat. I really enjoyed it. The characters are really well thought out and have amazing growth throughout the book. The fact that this book has spice, magic, mystery, supernatural entities, and romance; means it really hits a lot of marks for people to pick it up. I highly suggest reading this book for an escape and to just thoroughly enjoy reading.

This was an amazing book! Callus LeBlanc is an amazing detective who meets Aeris. Aeris is a Fae from the mystical realm of Laric.  Faes and humans are not supposed to interact with each other which is why Fae’s tend to cloak themselves. Little does anyone realize that these two are meant to be together. Can they weather the storm that lies ahead and be able to be together? Follow along with me as we journey into the magical realm of Laric and watch as Callum and Aeris’ journey has just begun. There is so much going on in this story but I really can’t wait until book 2 comes out.

This is an amazing quick read. I fell in love with the characters from the start. They both had some serious growth throughout the short book. I was able to read this book in a couple hours and I honestly can’t wait to read the rest of the series. This book is a really good book t o start the series with because I feel like it is laying the groundwork for the rest of the series. You finally are able to put everything together at the end of the book. It is all wrapped up with a pretty bow that allows you to continue on. I loved the level of spice this book has. It actually really helped carry the story line. I don’t mean that in a bad way, the spice is part of the entire story and obviously the series based upon the name. So, I felt like it was just the right amount. If you are looking for a sweet little get away from the real world, I highly recommend this book. Knowing that it is a series, I am excited to see what happens next and who the book is going to focus on. It is hard to tell how amazing this book is without giving away things. I just can’t stress enough how good this quick little read was.

Emma has a bad history of her past and what her ex has done to her. She is all about not settling. She has rules and boundaries, that is until she meets Liam. He’s usually a one and done kind of guy. Emma tries to keep Liam at arms length. But they both want more than just a hook up, and they are both falling for each other. Emma is so guarded but Liam breaks through it with her. I love the character building, and how they can work through things. There are lots of steamy parts but in all the right places to build up the story.

Dylan, Emily, and their dog Theodore are trying to help Mr. Farner find the missing plates from the baseball field. They go check the playground where the Benny brothers are guarding the sandbox. But they don’t have them. There is also a birthday party at the park going on, they check there where a little girl is wanting a softball party. She doesn’t have it. They go on all these adventures to find the missing baseball plates. Well they end up going back to the start where a few smaller kids are playing pirates at the jungle gym. And wouldn’t ya know, they have the missing plates!<br />This was another absolutely adorable story of detective Dylan!!

I just loved this book!! You don’t read a lot about foster care and over coming many issues that can come with being put through the system. Especially a children’s book! This book had wonderful illustrations, but also a wonderful storyline. It really puts you in the shoes of a little boy who has been through a lot and must overcome a lot at the same time. In this book, Cam and Inaya are training for a charity run. The charity run is to raise money for a friend of theirs’s who is in the hospital needing open heart surgery. As you go along you see these two practice running, handing out fliers, and getting ready for the big run. One day after a run the two go home and meet their new foster brother. Loris keeps to himself. He doesn’t say much, he doesn’t play with the others, and he keeps to himself quite a bit. Cam and Inaya try over and over to get him to join them in stuff but he always says no. One day at school Loris stands up to a bully in their school. All the kids are scared of him, but Loris has been scared of worse. The foster siblings start to bond over things and Loris lets his guard down some. Race day comes and Cam hurts himself during the run. Loris takes over for him and helps with the rest of the race. The event is a huge success and the children bond even more. Such a wonderful book. Teaching great values while learning about courage, kindness, and overcoming many fears that pop up in different ways. I would defiantly recommend this book for children 10 and under, but it’s also a good book to show teens to encourage understanding and help stop bullying in my opinion. I can’t wait to read it with my girls.

Laura is an older woman. She joins a book club and becomes fast friends with the ladies. Sylvie tells Laura she should try pet sitting all over the world. Be able to travel and find herself now that her husband has passed. Laura goes to the UK and pet sits for one couple. One day she’s walking the dogs and literally runs into a very handsome man Hugh. They end up spending a lot of time together, Hugh helps Laura figure out her family tree. Laura is enamored by Hugh and wants to stay longer in the UK to know this man.<br />You have to go read this because anything else will spoil! This had me laughing and a little teary eyed. I absolutely love this. I would love a second part to this book for Laura, Hugh, Georgina and Anthony.

Firstly, this is book 9, can be read as a stand alone, or delve into the entire series.<br />Logan and Vic become best friends in college. Vic’s parents considered him another son. They were everywhere together. Jinx has always been the younger sister. Both boys were always so protective of her. Jinx of course fell head over heels from him from day one. Logan told Jinx all his secrets, they became fast friends. During school, Logan changed his number and basically disappeared. But Vic knew what had happened and the secret that could have torn everything apart. Well fast forward 8years later when Jinx and Logan reunite at a friend’s wedding.<br />Logan and Jinx end up hooking up “just to get it out” of their systems. Well…that doesn’t go as planned. This set is getting better and better with each book! The characters, what they go through, and their cute little Compound life is so great! In this book you get to meet Jake again and get to know him a bit better. He’s been the CEO of the family business and has had a small feud with his twin brother Joe for quite some time. Him showing up out of the blue for David’s wedding throws the whole family for a loop. What’s he doing here? Why now? He resigned as CEO?! What the heck. Who is this brother who has done a complete 180 with his life?? Jake seems more laid back. He rents a random weird Victorian mansion. He’s even writing books! One of which they want to make a movie!! The family once again has a hard time reading their brother. What happened to him? Who is this new man and what happened to their brother? He seems a bit haunted but much more easy going then before. While he’s rattling around Port Townsend he finds a woman that he can’t keep out of his thoughts. She’s beautiful and she doesn’t even know it. He’d love to give her everything in the world, but she’s married. Just his luck! What will he do with the ghost that haunts him and the woman he wants but can’t have?? Man of man! Such a great book. I can’t wait to read the next one!! You have to give this set a shot!! Contemporary Romance with a few twists you won’t see coming! Such a super cute family with lots of ups and downs.

This is a the first time I have read anything by this author. I have to say that she knows how to capture an audience. Elsabeth inherits an island from her estranged aunt Lorraine. She isn ‘t sure if she should go because her father is very ill and could pass away at any moment. Her father insist  that she goes and live her life. So she packs up her belongings and moved to this island in Guernery. She hoped to leave the drama of her life back in Texas. Do you believe in angels? This story might push you into thinking that they do exist. Especially when you stop and think about all the things that could have happened to you but didn’t. I promise that you will love this story just as much as I do.

This series in the start gives you a map to go back to, to understand which parts of the realm is being talked about which I highly appreciate.<br />This book takes place in the middle earth of the realm. Queen Titania has a kingdom to rule, a husband to find. And evil to fight. Could Titania do it all. This story just keeps getting better and better as it goes on.

This is the first book of the series I have read. It’s a little slow in the beginning but it picks up. It gives you everything fantasy you need. Gives you the battles, and love that you need, but without being overboard. This book gave me everything I want in a fantasy book! Such a wonderful series!

This book is amazing!!! You will not be disappointed when reading it. It picks up where book one left off. You definitely will want to read book one before this one. It has the main male character being the one you want to have but just can’t. The leading female is still a kicking butt and taking names kind of girl and I am here for it. This book has all the steam that you could possibly want in a high school bully romance. You will have all the answers to everything that you were hoping form book one. This book will definitely leave you wanting more stories with the rest of the friend group. It makes you want to be part of that friend group. It was a very fast paced read because I was constantly turning pages to see what was going to happen next. There is suspense as well which just takes things to the next level for me. I highly suggest reading this when you have a day to dedicate to doing nothing but reading it, you won’t want to put it down.

Little Red, the Detective is similar to Red Riding Hood in some ways, but with a little twist. Red (real name Maureen) got her nickname because her grandmother knitted her a sweater that she wore all the time and it happened to be red. Her grandmother called her to come over for a new sweater but asked her to pick her some flowers to make tea along her way. Packing her plant book to help her look for the flowers, cookies for grandma that she and her mom made, and her flinger print kit she sets off to grandma’s house. While looking for the flowers, a wolf comes along and helps her find some purple flowers that smell like vanilla. She stops to look them up in her book and the wolf runs ahead to grandma’s house. The wolf then eats grandma and Red has to use her detective skills to see if Grandma is really Grandma. I don’t want to give it all away, but it’s a super cute book and take on an old classic tale. I thought that my 8 year old would love this book, but I think that younger kids would enjoy it as well. You could easily read this to a 5 year old. This author is great at adding in some “learning” into her books, which I LOVE! For example, in this book you learn a little about finger prints. Check this book out, but also her other ones too! I have a few of them now, and my daughter’s and I love them all so far!!

Fantastic book. As the parent of an autistic adult and 4 autistic grandchildren, I feel that the author has done a really good job of writing and giving the perspective of both the parents and of Emerson. Their life is complicated. I couldn’t put this book down. It grabbed my heartstrings and just kept me reading all the way through. All the emotions were felt. I will be buying and gifting this one to friends and teachers. It is deserving of more than 5 stars if I were allowed to give it more than that. Excellent book that I fell all should read.

This trilogy is a very quick paced, fast read. I was verysrurprised with how quickly I was able to read each book. That said, let’s talk about the books in this trilogy. I feel like this has a bit for everyone since every story is a different trope. You may not like them all but you can definitely find one that you do like in this collection. The steam is in full force from the very first story and doesn’t really let up until the end. The plots of each book are there but do happen to get lost in the steam, which I think is intentional. Don’t get me wrong the plots are good for each of these stories in the trilogy. They just seem to take a back seat to the steam. Which in all actuality is what I was expecting to happen during this trilogy. I found it interesting to see what was going to happen to Richard in every story. I loved the continuity that flowed from book to book. Even though the tropes where different, you felt a connection because of Richard being in each story. I would highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who likes steams, enjoys a variety of tropes but keeps the main character, and someone looking for an easy quick read. I was not disappointed in this series at all.
