This Is a great YA book that will grab your attention. The main character is relatable and pretty interesting. Her experience on the first year at the Academy is so interesting and have some fun moments. I love the little details of the story that make all fall together. If you are looking for an interesting paranormal/ fiction book this is definitely the one. I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

I picked up this book to read to my 2 year old niece at night since I was babysitting for a couple of days and she really loved it. The adorable friendship between Conifer and Spike brings warmth to anyone’s heart. The pictures are extremely cute and dinosaurs are always a hit with my nieces. If you are looking for a short book to read to your kids or to teach them how to read, I think this book would be great for you. My favorite was Saving Conifer’s Eggs. I definitely think this book was a win.

This book follows the love story of Kellie and Harrison. Kellie, now an event coordinator is informed that she will need to pull off a wedding in a short period of time and once she reads the file, she realizes that’s her ex’s wedding. Harrison, a black pro golfer is advice by his manager that he needs to make some changes to obtain more sponsors and ask him to marry Mila, a swimsuit model 10 years younger than him and also someone he has never met before. This novel has a pretty steady progress and will definitely keep you engaged. If you are looking for a feel good short novel this is definitely it. Please do yourself a favor and read this book. I will definitely be reading this book again.

I picked up this book not knowing what to expect since I was looking for a quick read. Pretty good book. Fast read if you are looking for a weekend entertainment. At the beginning I was not impressed by the book since the main character Elizabeth can be a little frustrating at times. She has so much going on in her life. This book has a pretty good description of what divorce can look like and what a desperate mother would do to give her family a decent life. The story gets better once the murders begin and Elizabeth’s ex (not the one she divorced) comes in to the picture. If you are interested in family drama, romance, piramid schemes and murder, this is the book for you. I will definitely be reading more from Marie-Therese Hernon.

Something About Aimee is definitely the best book I’ve read this year. This story is about a homeless young woman named Aimee Wheels and a prince named Sheikh Qadir Saif-Ad-Din. Aimee is a strong free spirited woman with the most enchanting personality. Her character drew me to the story from the first moment i read about her. Qadir’s love and fascination with Aimee will definitely make your heart skip a beat. This story is full of action, fun, sexy seens and much more. Something About Aimee will keep you turning pages non stop. This book will be on my favorites for years to come.

This book is about Bobbi, her new job as a NYPD agent and her coworkers at NYPD. In this book these NYPD agents are trying to catch a serial killer while going through multiple life changing events. Bobbi and Rose are an excellent example of strong relatable female characters and make you feel for them when they go through heartbreak and traumatizing experiences. I really enjoyed the steady progress of the story and the fact that there are multiple storylines. It definitely hits all the marks but it could be very heavy sometimes as it touches the subject of murder, sexual assault and the aftermath of surviving sexual assault. The characters are funny, relatable and intriguing. I gotta admit that the character Max stole my heart and his relationship with Bobbi had me going through all the feelings. On the other hand some characters will make your blood boil (no spoilers so I’ll let you decide who they are by yourself). This book is definitely a great start to the series. I can’t wait to read more from RL Dunn.
