Forbidden Moon (The Shadow Chronicles Book 3) by CR Robertson – Review by Ashley Johnson

Forbidden MoonForbidden Moon by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once again C.R. Robertson delivered an amazing book! I stayed up again way too late to finish. I got some of my questions answered but I still need more! I really hope we have a spin-off for some of the other characters. She’s done an amazing job at world building and I am excited to see where she takes us. Levi and Tasha are the main story line but my boys Dominic and Spencer stole the show! This series is a must read. You will not be disappointed.

Forbidden Mate (The Shadow Chronicles Book 2) by CR Robertson – Review by Ashley Johnson

Forbidden MateForbidden Mate by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book two of The Shadow Chronicles and I loved it! Definitely worth staying up all night reading it. In this book we get to see more of what’s really going on in the Vampire/Lycan world and who the bad guy really is. We do get some of our questions answered from book 1 but she still leaves us wanting more. Levi is still our smoking hot alpha and Tasha is still our fierce warrior. We also get to know some of the side characters better and I have to say the Dominic and Radar are probably my favorites. I really hope we get more of them with the last book. I really wish I could give this more than 5 stars!

Forbidden WolfForbidden Wolf by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow! Really is all I can say. This was my first C.R. Robertson book and it definitely won’t be my last! It was a new take on star-crossed lovers. Tasha drove me crazy with how stubborn she could be but she is an amazing warrior that stands up for what’s right. Levi. Swoon! He is a hunky loner of a wolf that will not let anyone stand in his way of what is his. I am ready to see where their story takes me!

So well written! Lexi is probably my favorite character and I say that because she is my idea of a heroine…..even with the odds stacked against her and pretty much everyone against her, she goes for what she wants and knows is right! So what do you do when you find a dead body on the first day with your new partner Xavier? I was pulled in from the first page and have already recommended it to friends. Solving mysteries, loss, love? Read it today.

Immediately pulling me in and giving his background story and what led him to the Satan’s Devils MC. Who knows what you’ll discover when you set out to find yourself? I loved meeting the characters Red met. If you love MC books, grab this one today.

The Bow (Her Three Immortals Book 3) by Hazel Storm – Review by Ashley Johnson

The Bow (Her Three Immortals, #3)The Bow by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As usual, the story line was fantastic!!! Just when Vanessa thinks things may be simple, guess again!!! She finds herself on a mission for the queen herself…..what could go wrong?? These books are so well written. Hazel is a gem for sure. The only reason I knocked it down a star was because of the sex scenes. It was a little too much for me.

The God (Her Three Immortals, #2)The God by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The God picks up right where book 1 finished which elated me! Let’s face it, I was going crazy needing to know what happened. I was blown out of my mind with how well I could visualize Elysium and Vanessa’s newly made friends. Um, I wonder if I can get a PK also?! Book 1 was steamy but book 2 fogged the windows. Fantastic job Hazel! I’m off to read book 3 because I can’t wait to see where this story goes.

Interesting enough, the Don of the underworld moves into the neighborhood. Is it that simple though? Vanessa is my favorite 🙂 don’t get me started on the gods….LOVE them! Hazel knocked it out of the park with the first book! If you like gods, steamy love, and relatable characters, this is your book.

I love a good contemporary romance and Something Lost did not disappoint! The bonds of friendship in this book are strong. The team is a group of friends that have had each other’s back for years. They had a great coach that taught them life lessons and one of the players loved coaches daughter once upon a time. Second chance love just tugs at my heart. The story line was great. I swooned, teared up, and held my breath a little. This story was beautifully written and I look forward to the rest of the series.

This book had me from the moment I saw the cover, but let’s get to the story! Ray and Lys practically grew up together and in a way they’re both starting new. I love the attraction between the two. The story was to the point and swoon worthy. There were some things I would have liked to know more about in the book, but it did not take away from the main story. I’m definitely interested in more books by this author!
