Peg’s Stand (Satan’s Devils MC #6) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Kay Stritesky

I cannot say enough good things about not only this book but this series! It is impossible to lose interest over time and bonus, they can all be read stand alone! In this one the narration fits the story and keeps readers attention. Its like Sons of Anarchy without all the violence and easier on the stomach! I cannot wait for more of not only this series but this author as well!

Finders Reapers Audiobook by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Char Wahtomy-Alba

What do you get when a Necromancer and a Reaper try to have a relationship? Confusion and trouble. When they share a kiss Jasmine thinks that her relationship with Asher is heading in a more romantic direction, but he takes off on her before anything can be clarified. When he decides that he needs a break from reaping he leaves his door to the underworld unattended and the consequences aren’t very pretty. A ghost has escaped the underworld and is wreaking havoc in the French Quarter. The longer this spirit remains free the weaker Asher will become until he ceases to exist. He enlists the help of one of the most powerful Necromancers he knows, but she is reluctant to help as she is still hurt by their last encounter. Will Asher and Jasmine be able to wrangle this wryly ghost before the situation gets too dire?

Cadence Defined Audiobook by Dakota Willink – Review by Char Wahtomy-Alba

After 17 long years Cadence and Fitz get their second chance, but it is not without obstacles. Cadence has a big secret to tell Fitz and it is so huge that it could make or break their relationship. Losing Fitz was devastating enough the first time…if she loses him again who knows if she will be able to survive that heartache. Fitz just wants to finally have the woman he loves by his side while quietly and happily living his life. His father though has different plans for him and they do not include Cadence.

This book was just as enjoyable as the first. After listening to this book I felt it would have been OK on its own, but I’m glad the author made it a series. The narrators once again did a good job of bringing this story and these characters to life.

Kingdom of War: Kingdom Journals, Book 4 by Tricia Copeland – Review by Krystal Gregory

Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals #4)Kingdom of War by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kingdom of War: Kingdom Journals, Book 4 by Tricia Copeland
4 out of 5 stars
Tricia Copeland is one of my favorite authors. I have read many books of hers and thus I was delighted to pick up this little gem. This is the fourth installment in the Kingdom Journals series and a fabulous addition to the set. We meet up with Hunter who is the leader of a long-awaited trinity. Those who are going to restore the order. As his story progresses, I am reminded of Hercules and the requirement of the 12 labors, I find that these are similar to Hunter and the trials that he must complete. Hunter is a complex and often frustrating character as he is constantly at battle with himself and his growing power. He is struggling to control what he thinks is not his and not turn into the father whom he hates. The other two of the trinity are fantastic characters to Hunter and compliment him very well. The conversation, banter, and story progression make this a completely easy read or listen to. Lovers of Paranormal/Romance/Young Adult/Fantasy will love this book. 4 out of 5 stars.

Heart of Stone (The Stone Series Volume 1) AUDIO BOOK by Dakota Willink – Review by Charlisa Wahtomy-Alba

Krystina Cole is working to make ends meet at her local grocery store. She has been trying to find a job to put her marketing degree to use, but isn’t having any luck. When she meets Alexander Stone after a mishap it seems she may have found the man of her dreams. He is the first man that has caused any kind of desire to rise up inside of her after two years of being not only single, but celibate. After having her heart crushed by her college boyfriend she has sworn off men thinking that they are all the same, jerks. Will she be willing to open her heart again and give Alexander a chance?

Alexander Stone is a millionaire real estate tycoon who has his mind set on having Krystina for his own. After their chance meeting he sets out to make her his submissive, but that may be harder than he imagined. Not only is she a strong willed and confident woman, she is also feisty and not afraid to tell him exactly what she thinks. Will he be able to get her to submit to him the way he wants her to or will he be the one to submit to her?

Maggie by Mya O’Malley-Review by Amanda Kimble

5/5 Stars

Due 5/8 Maggie AUDIO BOOK by Mya O’Malley

This is the second book by the author I’ve had the pleasure of having. Although this is the first Audio Book I’ve had by her. Emily Ember is a great narrator and I loved it.

Naomi lives on the edge of the town cemetery. She loves living there and it gives her great help when it comes to writing. As an author she thrives on it. When she meets Maggie things go bad. She is determined to finish Maggie’s story. The quote I chose for Naomi is: “Give me a second and we’ll get going.”

Maggie is the ghost that is haunting Naomi. She wants…no she needs Naomi to figure out what happened. She needs Naomi to write her story; to finish her story. The quote I chose for Maggie is: “My story. Not much to tell. Sorry to disappoint you.”

Highly recommended for Crime lovers.

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance Audio Book by Amy McKinley
5 out of 5 Stars
I loved this story. While short and sweet, it was absolutely well pieced together and the story moved smoothly. It did not feel rushed and each chapter rolled into the other without feeling lost in the story as if having missing important information.
The chemistry between Stone and Adeline is quick and fantastic. It burns hot and quick and I love the banter and quick wit that Adeline has.
This book is for lovers of YA, and Romance. This is a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance: Moonlit Destination Series AUDIO by Amy McKinley – Review by Amanda Kimble

5/5 Stars

Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance: Moonlit Destination Series AUDIO by Amy McKinley

This is the first audio book I’ve done. Regan Brown had me captivated from the beginning. McKinley has really outdone herself in this short romance story. A great way to start a series and a definite must read. It’s short and sweet, but will leave you wanting more.

Nadia is now living on a beautiful island. When she runs into someone from her past. She doesn’t want to give him a chance but then she does. When she meets his sister again things go bad quickly. The quote I chose for Nadia is: “We haven’t known each other that long, Cade. I’d hate for you to invest so much money then find out that whatever this is between us is short term.”

Cade’s life was turned upside down five years ago after an accident that almost cost him his life. A woman, or as he finds out a girl, saves him from dying and then runs. What happens when he runs into her on the island he now calls home. The quote I chose for Cade is: “The accident. That was the start of a much bigger nightmare for my family. As much as we could, we’ve moved on. There isn’t anything holding me in New York any longer.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense lovers.

Luke: The McKades of Texas, Book 3 Audible Audiobook by Kimberly Lewis – Review by Kandis Posey

Luke (The McKades of Texas, #3)Luke by Kimberly Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved listening to Luke: The McKades of Texas, Book 3 by Kimberly Lewis and narrated by Tiffany Williams. As someone from Texas it was nice to hear some of our favorite sayings without them being too cheesy and not forced. Luke is a typical cowboy and Karlie has the dream of most little girls who grow up around a ranch. I would definitely recommend this audiobook!
