Ryan’s Bed was so good that I finished it in one day. I’ve never read a book more relatable. This book invoked so many emotions from me. Mac’s story, especially the ending, is thought provoking and engaging. The plot twist at the end was a surprise. Tijan wrote this so well and put so much care into the storyline. She was considerate of how she chose to write about the main topic and did an excellent job at portraying the emotions surrounding it.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel is part of the The Everyday Heroes World and is written by Trish Williford. This author is like fine wine, each story just gets better. I loved the style, the context the words were written in, and the complexities of the characters. Each character was a little flawed, more than a little difficult and a lot passionate. Their attraction burned hot through many years before they got their act together. Their dance toward bliss was seductive, messy and tumultuous. It was a drawing addiction that had me mesmirised by every paragraph. I was under their spell. What a clever and insightful author Trish Williford is, who can captivate an audience and unveil a heated and emotional story that will amaze, stun and impress. 4 stars.

The Girl and the Gargoyle is a YA paranormal romance and the second book in The Girl and the Raven by Pauline Gruber. Before starting this book, you should read the first book The Girl and The Raven and in quick succession as there is a lot of layers. It is a quick read, and I definitely enjoyed it. It is original and different to other paranormal romance stories. The characters are also a little different to your straightforward usual paranormal critters. There are demons and witches and gargoyles and an evil father on the hunt. As I said with the first book there are secrets and lies, magic and a wealth of unusual. YA’s will love this book.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel (The Everyday Heroes World) by Trish Williford is a contemporary brother’s best friend second chance romance story. I have read a few stories from The Everyday Heroes World which are different stories by different authors. This sweet love story by Trish is a bit emotive as two people cross paths again and hopefully put their past behind them. One awkward night lies and secrets and a lot of heartache and water under the bridge that needs to be repaired to move forward. It is a quick and entertaining read.

I really enjoyed this paranormal mystery romance. This def took some turns I was not expecting! A quicker read than I was expecting too as it kept me so riveted!
I’m not sure I fall for the insta-lust between Luce and Salvatore, but I did enjoy the attraction to one another and mystical the connection they had. I enjoyed that it was more of a slow burn romance with sexual tension building. I also enjoyed the twist on who Luce could be and why she hates the nickname Lucy.
Some BDSM or Dom/Sub vibes but not overtly BDSM.
I really liked Luce’s growing friendship and working relationship with Clay, Terrence, Silver, and Lucas. I also enjoyed scenes with Embry and the levity she brings to a fairly dark story.

This book was awesome. I love how the writer adds in the PTSD and anger problems which indicated mental health problems which are not at all easy to manage. This causes Uqnitum’s sons to run away as her mental health and anger takes a major toll on the family. I don’t want to get into it too much and give away spoilers but I think the author Holmes is really able to tune into history and studies up on a subject and culture before trying to write a novel which is really commendable. The novel is extremely well written with high vocabulary usage, and heart wrenching stories all intertwined in one. This isn’t a standalone novel, as it is the second in the series. I love the history in this novel and I think people can misinterpret it to be boring if they don’t allow the scene to be set up for them so you get a glance at what the 13th/14th century looked like, and can actually see the book happening while you read it. Don’t lead others mislead you before you try and read the book with an open mind and a willingness to be taught as it is historical fiction, but not taught forcibly.

This was another great read by this author. I have come to enjoy her books quite a bit. It was a different twist on how one views the God’s of Olympus. Kathryn Gataki has stolen the heart of Hermes as well as his caduceus staff. It’s harmless though right? It’s all in good fun so he thinks, until he finds out who is truly behind the theft. All those years ago what he thought was a harmless trick on the God of the Wild has seriously come back to bite him in the butt. Will he be able to get his caduceus back from Pan in order for Kat’s life to be spared?

I’m going to start by saying that this book was a lot of fun. However, it was also very sweet. Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel is by Trish Williford. This is the first book that I have read from her and was pleasantly surprised. This story follows Charlotte “Charlie” Hawkins. Charlie was living the life that she chose as a Nurse in Denver. She had what she thought was a perfect life. That is until her fiancé’s mistress comes forward with the fact that she is now pregnant with his baby! So with that being said, she goes back home where is she is faced with her brother’s best-friend Tank, who just happens to be someone that she has been in love with for a very long time. I just enjoyed the banter between her, her brother and Tank. You can tell they are all really close. It was great to see the development of each of the characters. It was adorable seeing how much Tank really cares for Charlie. I was really engulfed in this book and how I felt like I was a part of their little crew and the story itself. I would really recommend this book to anyone who loves books that are sweet and sexy. I cannot wait to read more from this author and look forward to more sweetness and sexiness.

The Third Nanny Whoa! Hold up a minute. What just happened? Those statements and questions were exactly what I was saying throughout the book. Talk about a thriller, “thriller” puts it mildly in the aspect of keeping you on your edge if you’re a guesser so to speak. As a reader I like to guess the actions and the ending plot of books but Wacek kept me twisting in my chair so to speak. It isn’t a horror book, or terribly scary. It does have a creeper factor that raises hair on your neck when reading parts of “The Third Nanny”. This book called to me and called to me and didn’t lose my focus which is always a good sign of a good writer that knows how and when to capture it’s readers. I didn’t like the ending but that’s to everyone’s taste honestly, I mean if we didn’t like it then phooey on us, because it isn’t like we wrote the book its preference. The ending is great I just wanted more, I wanted to be left with more I crave more. I will be reading more from this author!

The characters are great and strong minded and the way they play of each other is awesome. This is a sexy paranormal reverse-harem romance, with a very captivating storyline that I enjoyed a lot… Vanessa has sold her soul to the don of the underworld and now she is stuck alone in his penthouse and it would be all good but Grey stormed off because he doesn’t want her there. Right before Grey whisked her to the underworld Aroz shot one of his arrows at her and missed now she is covered in gold dust. But she doesn’t feel a thing she definitely doesn’t love Grey. Wow! I stayed up into the wee hours of the night because I couldn’t put it down! Literally from the time I started the book to the last page, I didn’t put it down. I loved Hawke. A tragic and tortured hero with an awful childhood will break your heart and make you scream. At the same time, you will totally understand his issues. I didn’t connect as much to Charlotte, but loved her insistence. It isn’t a light read, but I felt the author handled dark subjects very well. The plot and romance were believable. I look forward very much to the next book with Caine’s story.

Whew, I’d love to see this one on the big screen. Serious movie material right here. I want to see Salvatore’s eyes go from black to red!! Anyone else? I really love the characters and the action in this novel. Luce is my kind of heroine – from her choice of coffee to her instinct to protect and serve. She felt like someone I could walk into a precinct and meet. Salvatore is your Mr. Tall, Dark and Powerful, but is taken down by some green crystalline eyes. He has got that vampire sexiness down. The action started right off with women coming up missing. It’s a great read with a great mix of several elements.

Great Vampire read! I love the dual POVs of Salvatore and Lucianna. Salvatore is a vampire and head of the Vampire Overlord Consulate. Lucianna is a police officer assigned to a case where women go missing. When a robbery at Salvatore’s casino goes wrong, Salvatore must rescue Lucianna from death. They must work as a team to figure out about the missing women before its to late. I love how this story flows and the sparks between Lucianna and Salvatore! Cannot wait to read book 2!

I was pulled in right from the beginning. I had a couple of late nights with this book.
Salvatore is the overlord of the consulate of master, he finds out that women are coming up missing in Las Vegas, and he is on his way there to try and figure out what is going on. He gets some intell that he finds very interesting. Lucianna has been given an undercover assignment, she is also a clairvoyant. Salvatores club is the first one that her team focuses on. When she meets Salvatore things get very interesting. She quickly becomes a challenging distraction for Salvatore. There is a twist that causes Salvatore to make a choice about Lucianna’s life. Will he make the right one?
Overall this was a great and thrilling read. I loved the characters and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next in the series. The chemistry between them was great. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. 1-click and get started today on this great new series.

Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black was even better then book 1 in this series. Once again ms. Black takes us into a world that is the most perfect combination of human and vampire and makes us fall in love with her characters all over again. Once again this book is full of drama, romance, and several erotic scenes that will make you devour this short novella in one sitting. After reading book one in this series I knew I would love book two from start to finish and I was definitely right about that. Personally after finishing book one and book two I can’t wait for book three.

Master Descallia (Masters of the Consulate Book 1) by Sylvia Black is one of the most amazing novella’s I have ever read. When I first saw the cover of this book the colors and the font of the title drew me right away, combine that with the blurb I read about it and I just new I had to read this book. Ms. Black gives us amazing characters, great scenery, and a story that will have you on the edge of your seat from chapter one. While this book is twenty-five chapters the story itself is so full of drama, suspense, and add in some erotic scenes and you won’t be able to put it down.

This is my Review of Master Descallia Master of the Consulates by Sylvia Black. I just want to say this is my first time reading a book by Sylvia and I would like to say I am already a fan. This is the first book of this series and I’m already hooked waiting to read the next part of the series. The romance and seriousness is the perfect mix of emotions for the characters in this book. Salvatore and Lucianna are my favorite characters and can’t wait to see what happens next for them. The story has great detail and does a great job wanting to know more and I believe is leading to the beginning of another great series. Great job Sylvia!

This was a fun book to read. It had mystery, romance and a dash of suspense! The story was easy to follow and well written. I especially enjoyed how the characters developed and grew right up until the end. Vampires has always been made to be the villains and I loved how Sylvia used this angle to build her story on. We all love bad boys and what’s worse than a villain? How about a police officer that falls for said villain? Opposites attract and in this book that made for some epic chemistry! Sign Steal Deliver: A Paranormal Chick Lit Novel by Carrie Pulkinen is the first book in the Gods of Thunder MC series. When you mix Hermes and the rest of the Gods visiting New Orleans during Mardi Gras and Kat a cat shifter, what do you get? I always look forward to reading a new book from this author because I know it will be fun and original. There is humor, romance, and suspense while Hermes and Kat try to save Mardi Gras. I like the mix of the paranormal and mythological characters in this series. It adds a new touch that I do not often see when reading. I look forward to reading more soon in this series and from this author.
Boy Released is the second book in the Boy Series by JD Spero. I highly recommend reading Boy on Hold (first book) before reading this book. I found the book engaging. JD Spero takes on the complexity of mental illness. The story is compelling and realistic. The characters are complex and complicated. This book left me wanting more. I finished this book in one sitting. Tyler was released from psychiatric rehab. He is a witness to an attack. With his mind, it will be difficult to see if he is a criminal or a hero. Then there is the little thing about the wealth he is about to inherit. I highly recommend this book.

Flirting with the Enemy was a sweet story. I did have a lot of questions as I was reading since it really jumped in right at the start. I was glad that they were able to be answered as the story went on. I loved Zane’s character! Elle was a good character but I had difficulty at times connecting with her. She frustrated me because her train of thinking was all over the place at times and I just had a hard time with her. I did connect with her on a personal level when she was taking care of Joyce. It resonated with me regarding things going on in my life right now. Overall, it was a good story. The epilogue had me confused at first but then it made sense at the end. I would read more books by this author.

This is the 2nd book in the Masters of the Consulate series. Christian has wanted Delilah since they met. Delilah loves Christian but there are so many obstacles in their way. How can they overcome it all? I love the women in these books. They are a force all their own! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

This story was really cute! Sheldon and Simone’s road was really sweet as were their adventures together. I loved the idea of being part of a rescue team liberating big cats. There were parts that felt a little forced but mostly it developed smoothy as pertaining to their relationship, obstacles and overall plot. I enjoyed the story and would read more by this author.

Pardon me while turn down the AC. Salvatore is the overload to the Consulate of Masters and he is not one that you mess with. Lucian is a cop trying to solve a case. When she is changed to save her life what new danger will await her? Can she survive the heat she feels around Salvatore? I completely got lost in the action of the story. I will be starting book 2 right now!

I absolutely loved this book. The second chance love story always gets my attention and this one definitely did not disappoint. I feel like the characters were well developed and their stories weren’t overdrawn in detail. Charlie and Trent were very sweet and I loved the she was his redemption. There was the right amount of heat and sweet in this love story as well as reliability. I liked the dynamic of Charlie’s siblings as well as the other people in their lives. Also, the drama wasn’t drawn out and what was included fit well within the plot. It wasn’t forced or drawn out taking away from the main intent. This small town, second chance for love story really hit its mark.
(There was also an allusion to Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and that there is no place like home. That earned some bonus points from me!)

Women have been going missing on the streets of Las Vegas, kidnapped while doing normal, everyday activities, but always at night, Salvatore knows that it is nobody in his clan as they wouldn’t dare do something like that behind his back, but he has no idea who is behind it, or where they are being kept, however, he is determined to solve the mystery and get them back, so he jumps on a plane and sets out to investigate it. As his second in command fills him in on the new information, he is also sent a picture of a woman who he has to keep an eye out for, however, this woman intrigues him and he cannot keep his mind off her for the entirety of his flight, Meanwhile, Lucianna is preparing to use her skills to prepare for another days work and decides to visit her new place of employment and get a feel for the place, but when she gets there, she senses the presence of a man with a magnetic personality, however, as she is being shown round the place, she and another girl are viciously attacked and as she is on the verge of death, Salvatore approaches her and asks for her consent to save her, she agrees, even if it is going to change her life forever.
When she wakes up from her transition, she cannot deny that everything is sharper and clearer, but she still doesn’t like the idea of what she now is, it isn’t made any easier when there is a physical and emotional connection with Salvatore which is so strong they both struggle to keep apart and resist the temptation lying in front of them. As she recovers and more information about the missing women surfaces, she realises that there is something she can do to help and she goes to great lengths to prove just that, however, Salvatore is resistant and doesn’t want her anywhere near the danger looming. Will Lucianna and Salvatore be able to keep denying their connection and make headway finding the missing girls and proving that their kind aren’t the ones responsible and will Lucianna be able to accept her new life and the loss of her old one? This is a thrilling paranormal romance with a mystery entwined within which will keep you guessing until the conclusion.
