Master Romano (Masters of the Consulate Book 4) by Sylvia Black – Review by stephanie nicole

Master RomanoMaster Romano by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in this terrific and thrilling series and it is every bit as good as the last. When I first stumbled upon the series and it’s wonderful author it was a total accident and I read them out of order. However when I first picked up book two and saw its beautiful cover and read it’s synopsis I knew right away I would be hooked. After devouring the first 3 I anxiously awaited book four and devoured it as soon as it hit my kindle. The cover is just as beautiful as the previous books, and the storyline is once again filled with action, drama, romance, and of course some suspense. This series has quickly become one of my favorites since I discovered it last year, but book four is by far my favorite. The characters are amazing, the word building is out of this world, and I simply can’t wait to see what we get next.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I definitely read these books out of order, but this book was just as good as book two and three. When I first discovered this series I had no idea who this wonderful author was or how quickly I would devour her books. While this is a series each book can be read as a stand alone, however the series is so great that trust me you won’t won’t to stop at one. The plot was original, full of action and romance, and of course plenty of twists to keep you interested. Do if your looking for a great new story pick this one up today.

Never Is A Very Long Time (The Perfect Date Book 1) Audiobook by Donna McDonald – Review by Gabrielle

Mariah’s ex-husband continues to bring problems to her door but this latest one comes with a new twist and his name is John. Mariah thought that her ex turned her off of men for good, but John does something to her that she cannot deny.

Mariah and John’s story is a fast-paced story. It is very sweet and charming. It was nice to see not only the main character as a strong woman but many of the supporting females were as well. Love gets a second chance to bloom, and listeners are along for the ride. This story is also full of supporting quirky female characters that will pull you in and leave you interested in finding out more about them.

She sneaks into his territory to offer him herself. To be his mate and the opportunity for him to run a sector. Then she disappears! For 100 years, he chases her. And now he’s got her, and he doesn’t intend to lose her once again. Now he must unravel her secret. Overall I enjoyed the book. I was a bit disappointed in the ending but desperately want to read the next one.

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 2) by Anise Storm – Review by Regina Williams

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan #2)Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is less of a romance and more of a coming into yourself book. There is a romance aspect of it but most of its about the battle of your inner self. Anton and Elsa are both in love with each other but each have their vices, one acting and after a sad turn of events the other turns to drugs. Will they be able to save themselves before they ruin their love for each other? Great writing like always has an awesome storyline.

Rivals (Mafia Elite Book 7) by Amy McKinley
4 Stars

This is a fantastic mafia romance. It is filled with action, danger, lies, deception and of course passion. This book was so interesting that I wish I had read the rest of the series. Mia is stuck in a dangerous situation, stuck between her father and her step brother. As the daughter of a mafia boss, she has been abused and used as a pawn her whole life. Deciding to take her future by the reins, Mia makes plans to escape. Imagine Nico’s surprise to find Mia, the daughter of his enemy, in his secret hideaway. The secrets that she reveals are intriguing but can he trust her?

The chemistry sizzles between them. An enemies to lovers romance, this is an amazing book. The plot will keep you riveted from beginning to end. The characters will have you cheering for them. The author did a wonderful job so much so that I’ll definitely go back and read the rest of the series.

Rivals (Mafia Elite Book 7) by Amy McKinley – Review by Amanda Glaspie

Rivals (Mafia Elite, #7)Rivals by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say about this book other than I’m sad the series is coming to a end but with a great final book. Nico thinks he is getting away where no one can find him, Mia has other plans. It is time to merge the Chicago and New York mafia families. The final book brings everything full circle as Nico, the final brother finds love in unexpected places. Mia learns what family is really like and that there those that she can trust. I love that this book brought the right amount of needed vindication and love. Another book in the series that will keep you guessing and wondering what will come next. Wonderful end to the series.
