LUKE (DEFAULT DISTRACTION #4) by A. S. Roberts – Review by Autum Talamante

Luke (Default Distraction #4)Luke by A.S. Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A.S Robert’s does a good job of bringing you into this Rockstar romance novel. This is book 4 in the series but I think you could read this as a stand alone as well. The author really draws you in this story and you can’t help but really feel for Luke and his past. I honestly had to have a box of tissues next to me for some chapters. Roberts does an amazing job paying attention to details in the story and really makes Nikki and Luke come to life!

Broken Chains by Karina Kantas – Review by Autum Talamante

Broken ChainsBroken Chains by Karina Kantas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is not for the faint of heart

Broken Chains has just become one of my top favorite dark romance books.
This author does a great job making the story come to life. This mafia romance is not for anyone who is not used to Smutty violent books.
Liz Finley is such a relatable character that the author did amazing on. Usually I cring half way through a mafia story like this one but Karina Kantas does a great job not making the main character too whiny or conceited like you see most female characters in this type of genre.

Most ya fantasy books now days seem to be all the same, but this book was by far a new lind of story.
The books has a great mixture of royalty, elves, magic, brownies, and just everything magical.
The author does an amazing job at story telling and teaching lessons within her story!

Great realistic fantasy

Usually I am a sucker for full blown fantasy reads. I want dragons, faeries, mages, werewolves, skinwalkers, witches the whole none yards! This story however has won me over with just a touch of magic in the book which I never thought was possible.
Beware once you start you can’t stop, I stayed up all night to just finish this book  and all I can say is wow. I read it on my eReader but this is one I’m going to have a physical copy of.

Great writing style

This is the second book in the Mafia Elite series. The author has a great writing style that gets you sucked into the world they create around you.
This was a great second book, I did feel like there was a certain something missing from the book, but I honestly can’t put my finger on it. You definitely have to read this series on order or you will miss alot. Over all a great read and can’t wait for more by this author!

Good Ending
This is the last book of the Diamond Doms Series. This book was a really good end to the series. I’ve read the previous books and fell in love with them and all the relationships along the way. This book showed a great side of Russell but I wish there was more from Gemma. I will say the book did wrap up any previous questions and reintroduced you to previous characters in the series.

Unexpected HighSchool Fantasy

The author really surprised me with her ability to make the main Character so relatable. Alena is a half witch half vampire in highschool who is trying to learn more about her heritage. Alena is the typical neqly 18 year old girl who is questioning everything and has the urge to learn everything she can about her self and her family. I usually don’t care for Fantasy books like this one because the main character can be a bit whiny and too immature, but the author did this character so much justice!

Post Apocalyptic Survival

This book was a great read to begin with but towards the end it seemed to end a bit abruptly. The character building of Hunter, Rain, Kayla and Sawyer was so good, but I wish there was more world building as well. Hunter and Rain really draw you in but would love to see the next books to show more of Kayla and Sawyer.
Over all the book was a good apocalyptic Survival book. Can’t wait to read more by this author

Great fantasy novel. I was a little nervous going into this book, I’ve read all kind of fae things here lately from acotar, the savage and the swan, the secerets of shadow and blood , etc. This book exceeded my expectations though! The author has great world building and character development! Which I find to be a little rare with some newer books.
This is a great coming of age book and was such a fun read .
